Amazing! Food and drinks were great! Service was great as well! Try to book a reservation to avoid waiting for a table.
We came to Dos Caminos a few years ago as we live in Toronto - it was great then but we were extremely disappointed during our recent visit. I would not eat here again.
Guac and steak fajitas were de-lish!!!
So disappointing. Was so excited for great Mexican food. Guqcamole had zero
Flavor. Beans were vile.
Loved the spicy fresh guacamole!!
Water was preoccupied with a larger table, ie larger tip, and never came back after ordering. Only returned to bring check. Food sat under heat laps and dried out. Drinks are expensive and small. Little to no alcohol in drinks. Won't go back, many more restaurants in New York.
It's a nice place and great service
The guacamole is always extraordinary. Drinks are really good. Food is delicious. Never disappoints.
Wonderful restaurant in the Theatre District! Delicious and attractively served food! Polite and attentive service. The chef came out to check with us on the taste of the food.
The Restaurant Week menu had great choices and the value of the dishes was worth the fixed price. The dining area was immaculate and so were the restrooms. I would definitely recommend Dos Caminos and will be returning myself as well.
My waiter took 40 minutes to get us water. Don’t come to thirsty.
The manager doesn't have a clue of customer service, I entered the restaurant with my wife and (5 years old) daughter, he asked me, do you have a reservation? I said no, then he said, well the timeframe for a table is 30 min, My daughter was hungry so I said ok, thank you and left, right after I open the website to look for restaurant and found out that they were doing reservations right away, I book a table and came back, he looked me like What? I said I have a reservation now, he provide me with a table, we ordered the food. The food was horrible, no taste even my daughter said why is the food so bad? I send the food back, the manager came to our table, didn't even apologize, took the chargers off the bill and nothing else was done.
This is the worse experience ever. I hope that this helps and hope also to heard from somebody shortly.
The best customer experience service i have experienced in a long time. Our waiter was tentative, super engaging and informative, bartender was fantastic and even the security guy at the door gave me a heads up that my purse was in zippered. I was amazed to the level of service
Great meal. Super attentive staff.
Disappointed. Overpriced. Food just ok. Portions small. My men left hungry. Tacos small. Very loud. To be fair, guacamole was delicious, service exceptional, but honestly not worth it when you consider the endless choices in NYC.
Food was served cold, they did not care we were waiting, nothing special..
So disappointed. An advertisement about their slow cooked ribs sounded good and that’s what brought us in. They weren’t good….. That said as soon as you walk in the restaurant door, you know it was a mistake. Nothing was orderly & seemed in disarray. After finding the hostess you are told to go downstairs to where you can’t hear anything. The disco music was so so loud that it actually hurt your ears. We were ready to leave, before ordering, when our waiter ( who was good) agreed & had the music lowered to everyone’s delight. The only positive thing to say is the guacamole is terrific. I will never go back.
The food had no flavor but their drinks weren’t too bad.
Hands down one of the margaritas I’ve had. But the food was severely overpriced
Always a great meal at DC. Met up with some old colleagues for brunch and everything was great. From the guac and endless chips, to the tacos and margaritas, all delicious. They even brought out some complimentary churros, which are amazing.
This restaurant disappoints. We saw the waitress 2 times during our entire meal, once to take our order and to give us our bill. Someone else brought our food, we did not even get our water filled. We travel and eat out a lot and it was the first time I have never left a tip. The waitress was just strait rude, not even busy and my husbands shrimp was almost inedible, all for about 30 bucks a meal. Save your money and time and find somewhere else to eat.
Food was expensive and not good. They do not advertise on their website that, regardless of whether or not they open early, they will not serve brunch or brunch food until 11:30 am yet take reservations hours ahead of that time, so the menu was extremely limited. A plate of eggs or pancakes will run you literally $20. Wound up paying $42 for 2 tiny, greasy plain bagels, a side of bacon, and a single cup of coffee. Will not be back to any of their locations.
Dos Caminos was my favorite Mexican Restaurant, in my last two times. The Guacomole come too cold from the fridge, the waiters was in a rush, so sad, because I was in love with Dos Caminos.
So so place with a central locale. There are far better Mexican places in town. This is ok
It was a nice place but it is very overpriced for the size of the meal food was decent. I have a family and I don’t feel like it geared towards families.
I had hair in my food!
The food was subpar, in small portions, and ridiculously expensive. I do not recommend
Duro mucho en llevar la comida
Food wasn’t very good. Not a lot of flavor and the steak was burnt to a crisp.
Friendly staff and great food .
Me and my boyfriend went and the drinks and food were delicious!
We caught them close to their closing time (even though I was allowed to make a reservation for the time). Food would have been really good if it wasn’t for the end of the night. Service was slow and we felt rushed because everyone was rushing to go home. Towards the end it started to smell like bleach while they were cleaning
I’ve been to bottomless brunch places where they just throw booze at you and you become a walking back out. If that’s for you, then you do you. But we had the greatest bottomless experience, Will made sure to give us our money’s worth but also be able to function and enjoy the rest of the day. Not only did he constantly rotate cocktails, but he service and attention to detail were impeccable. Thank you for letting us celebrate with you and managing a time we will never forget! Definitely coming back!
Wished the food and seating area was better. Drinks and Service were amazing.
Happy hour worth it
We were greeted immediately and my party of 8 had a great time. Food came.out in good time amd everyone enjoyed their meals.
Excellent service and a great place to eat
Food was amazing and service was great. Recommend this restaurant
Last minute reservation for cinco de Mayo worked out perfectly
Food was phenomenal (as always). Service was very slow, and our hostess wasn’t entirely warm and welcoming, but it was close to the end of the night so we did not take it too personally. We all love Dos Caminos and would recommend it to anyone!
