A nice little oasis in the middle of Times Square craziness !
Very poor experience! Food was terrible.
Portions were rather small. Meat, Guac…were tasteless…
Restaurant closes at 10pm (on Times Square really????)
I was sick all night due to food…
Food was average. The edges of the soft taco tortilla came out so hard that the edges were not edible. It is like it was sitting in the oven or the heater for too long. Even taking that out of the picture, the flavor of the meats were mostly too salty.
Have eaten at the Third Avenue location several times and has been amazing. the food here just did not have the same freshness and flavor as experienced before.
Went to a broadway show and then had dinner reservations at Dos Caminos-TS. The service was great, no wait time when we got there at the reservation time. We loved the unique drinks and food was great. We will definitely be returning.
La comida es deliciosa, variedad de platillos y muy atentos al tema de alergias. Muy buenos cocktails y un servicio al cliente de primera.
La música un poco alta (para mi gusto).
Food and service were mediocre.
Celebrating a birthday and thanksgiving! Food was just average. The waitstaff not over friendly or knowledgeable on menu items. Place settings missing when we arrived. Place changed from years ago. They don’t make the guacamole in front of you either anymore. Turkey came out dry as if it was under the lights to keep warm until it was served. Disappointed.
Great surprise to get such good food, value and service at such a prime location. Would go back in a minute.
Our server was awesome. He was certainly in “the weeds” but handled it graciously and provided awesome service.
Great food!! Love the guacamole and the chips were fresh and hot. Server was good but loved that the bus boys continuously came over the clear the table. Fun ambiance. Food was excellent!! Highly recommend tue Dos Caminos Enchaladas!
It was a bit loud, but otherwise the atmosphere was energetic and the food was good.
Food was OK. The service was terrible. We also got the wrong table next to the kitchen and we could hear all the dishes crashing into the sink. We are usually happy with other locations in the city but we won’t go back to this one after today’s experience.
Very good value for a Time Square Restaurant. The food was excellent, the staff was attentive, and I liked the fact they had a children's menu. We did a Saturday pre-show lunch and found the location very convenient.
Food was amazing per usual. The service however was lacking. Waitress rarely came to check on us. If we needed something we had to ask someone to find her.
Had to ask twice for our bill!
Happy hour 3-6 weekdays is a decent value
But the downstairs bar area gets noisy and service is only so so
Friend was visiting from out of town and we were going to see a musical, so we needed something in the theater district. Service was fast and friendly. Everything was super delicious. A liiiittttle pricey but we’d go back.
Of all the places I have had fresh tacos this was the least appetizing. I am surprised because I Have heard good things about this place. Maybe its different foods that are really good. If you're looking for authentic mexican tacos I wouldnt go here.
Horribly slow service
The service was great…very friendly and efficient.
The food was pretty awful. The queso fundido was way too salty. The chicken enchiladas pastores were truly underwhelming. The sauce on one was way too sweet and gloppy. The other was ok. But I’m no chef and I make far better enchiladas than those. The choice of wine by the glass is pathetic.
When is Blue Fin coming back?
Early dinner at 4ish on a Saturday. Couldn’t expand reservations to 3 to invite a friend but watched as a 4 top had 2 seated, then replaced with another 2 at the 4 top. Either of those could have had the 2 top within the timeframe. Chips paid for were cold. Margaritas too sweet. Sauce on enchiladas queso very odd, like a sweet tomato sauce with some taco sauce stirred in. Mole sauce on chicken enchiladas was really tasty. I had made the reservations based on memories of really enjoying an earlier meal at another of their locations. Ooops
Too noisy for the four of us to hear each at the table! Food was good as usual.
Pre Broadway show dinner
Guac was great. Service was great. Entrees not so great. Very dry chicken in my daughters make your own taco meal. The grilled fish on the fish tacos was inedible.
Thank you for providing a discount on Veterans Day!
Restaurant, food and service was great. Seated immediately. Big problem with the bathrooms. Paper towels all over the floors - clearly not being kept up with. It wasn’t like this last time I went there before the pandemic, and I’m even more troubled that they aren’t taking time to clean during this time.
Nice spot with the best cornbread dish. Convenient location after a show. Highly recommend
Bad experience overall. Dos Caminos was great back in the day and much more upscale. It is now slightly above a chain restaurant. Disappointed in what happened to their brand.
Coming out of show, we made our 9PM reservation at 9:05. They had already closed the doors and broken down the bar. No manager in sight, they did not honor our reservation. A: why close so early with Broadway returning, no show is out by 9PM, but B: if those are your hours, why take reservations on OT until 9?
Nice place, went after a show. The best guacamole in town.
Excellent meal! Everything was delicious
the service was great, the rest was average, so for average food it was pricey, but location is great for seeing a show & as I say great service! the avocado Caesar salad was novel in that it has about 1/2 an avacado on top of the salad, that is an idea I'll add to caesar at home
Bartender was unable to focus on any one order and every order required him to go downstairs to find bottles no on the bar. So, everything took longer than it should have. Guacamole was good and fresh, but lacked spice. After the bar, restaurant service was slow and shrimp appetizer arrived uncooked. Tuna and salmon dishes were very good. I found this to be an unusually off night. We have been here offer in the past and some cobwebs may have developed during the pandemic.
Our server was amazing and the food was delicious!
We had two meals here during a week stay in NYC. Both times the server was attentive even during a pre-theatre rush and the food quality was outstanding. Pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable everything was for a restaurant in the middle of Times Square.
Birthday the experience was great from the beginning. The hostess and bartender bar back was so attentive and the service superb bartender and Julio the bar back kudos to them !!
Phenomenal! Always is!! Food, ambiance-all, amazing!
We shared how my mom needed assistance with going downstairs bc of her recent knee replacement. He went above and beyond to make sure she was accommodated-thank you!
Amazing, prompt and courteous service. Good and beverages were delicious.
Good experience. Good a little pricey but to be rxpected
