Interesting to eat here during the pandemic. The restaurant was clearly following the guidelines. The staff was very kind and welcoming and had good recommendations.
Outstanding new menu items, extremely helpful waitstaff - very happy and looking forward to coming back very soon!
Service ((William)was fun, efficient and knowledgeable. The food was DELICIOUS and the drinks good. I’ll be back!!
Good for group dining, not really big portions for sharing. Not enough vegan options.
Went to the one in the meat packing district, and it was much better, next time we will go there, our server was excellent tho!
Chicken was very dry. Services was slow. Very very busy.
Good food always.. very touristy as expected for the area .. had tix to broadway so can’t go wrong with Dos Caminos
The guacamole was quite good. Known for the “#1 voted margarita in Manhattan” - tasty and different! We got the branzino which was similar to deconstructed fish tacos. We also got the Camarones en Cazuela which is similar to a paella! All the food was delicious and would definitely go back. Close to all the Theaters so convenient for a drink & bite to eat before or after. Great happy hour options for after work as well.
My daughter’s birthday
it is great to have drinks with friends after work
Pretty busy Monday evening came in with some friends for dinner. Our server was nice, but not as attentive as we hoped. Prices are right up there for the tourists and two of the entrees we ordered were down right cold. The server ended up swapping out one of the entrees but still charged us for them. Not returning anytime soon.
We arrived early. The host heartily greeted us and seated us. The server was informative and responsive. The food and drinks were as delicious as we had remembered from our last dining experience at Dos Caminos. We look forward to our next eating experience there.
I enjoyed my meal at the restaurant, I was able to get a reservation the day of, and was seated 20 minutes early. I found this surprising due to the location in time square. The service was quick, although my meal was the Lamb Shank, which seemed to be served in a cold sauce with uncooked kidney beans. For the price, I was left a little disappointed. The service overall was warm and accommodating and would make me want to return in the future.
Everything from the food to the service was great! I would go back again!
Food was amazing.. The guacamole was great and fresh...
The service was quick and friendly for a big group of 7.
Initial table offered was in a far distant corner of the BASEMENT (!) dining area, and the smell in that location was most unpleasant. However they did offer us a different table with no questions.
Service was prompt, but the food was nothing special, with an over emphasis on cheese. We ordered the Empanadas Potosinas as a starter, and I detected little other than cheese in it. No sign of the roasted pepper it should have had, nor was the Pasilla Tomatillo Salsa provided with it. It's a small detail, but when the generic salsa was delivered (and why did I have to ask for it?) and the mild, medium and spicy varieties were pointed out, I was surprised to find that the "spicy" one was very tame indeed.
The prices were also over the top. $16 for a small guacamole. $28 for a large one for instance. Or $11.50 for three very small empanadas, really not much bigger than a Polish pirogi.
Not worth the effort going there. Try a real Mexican place, like Mad Dog and Beans, or for really excellent vegan Mexican go to JaJaJa.
The place was packed, and the hard walled decor resulted in a very loud experience. I suppose I should not have expected anything else given the place's location in the heart of Time Square.
Fun place. Great ambience and good food.
Tasty food, good service, and the restaurant was patient with us even though we arrived a bit late for our reservation, still seating us promptly, which we really appreciated.
Fantastic food and even better service. We weren’t expecting much because it’s in Times Square but it was actually outstanding. I would highly recommend.
Celebrated a birthday brunch at this location. There was no free drink/dessert and the waitress even asked if I wanted to pay for my own dessert when
Great as always! They always take good care of us, whether our party is 2 or 10! Excellent food it's like being royalty.
Brunch was delish the drinks were bottomless and pretty good! Megan our waitress was wonderful!!
Very good food, lovely ambiance! The street corn was amazing!
It was freezing inside the restaurant. Other than that the food was amazing. We did bottomless margaritas and loved them
Great place, food, and service
Excellent night would definitely be back portions very big but very tasty
My girlfriend and I came here for Valentine’s Day and it was amazing. To start with, I have a food allergy and our server was so good at making sure I would be safe while eating and provided options that I could have. The food was cooked excellently. But most important of all: THE MARGARITAS. So delicious. Would definitely recommend it to anyone and will definitely be back again.
Server was very attentive
Dos Caminos was excellent- our waitress got everything ready for timely so we could make our show at 8pm. It was a lovely Valentine’s Day dinner.
Valentines Day. Yesenia was an amazing server!!
My wife and I really enjoyed our meal here. Our server Tony especially made the experience wonderful!
They are the gold standard when it comes to guacamole. The tacos and bowl option was also fresh and delicious with an array of different flavors and textures that stimulate the taste buds for the other standard....best margarita's.
This is a great place to stop before a show if you want a frozen margarita and a decent meal. Times Square prices of course. Don't expect to get anything quick, seems like there are lots of servers running around but no one to pour us water. I wanted to wait to decide about getting guac and just wanted to start of with chips and salsa and waiter told me they couldn't do that and he would have to charge me twice if I ordered the quac later...very confusing. Waiter also seemed to be busy and not paying attention even when we were giving him our order. I would visit the other locations before this one again.
Good food and very good ambiance, considering it is in the middle of Times Square. Fair value. I didn't like the posture of the waiter when we complained about the taste of the margaritas, that were too weak. He simply said that he would have to charge for an additional shot. After some argument, he re-did one of the drinks (unnecessary...).
Service was really great. Food was over cooked and dry. Huge restaurant so I can only imagine how hard the kitchen is working. Not worth the price of the meal.
