Dos Caminos - Times Square

Once I arrived the nice host with the red hair brought me to my table. It had a VIP label on it. My server Francisco is the best. If I could have him as my server everytime I go to this location, that would be great. Food was good as well as the drinks
My daughter likes coming here when we visit NYC. We had a really good experience here this time (it’s never been horrible, this one was just particularly good). The guac was delicious and my “dos enchiladas” were extremely tasty. Service was good.
Food was ordinary. Service was good. Much too much noise, we couldn't hear each other. Restaurant is in the basement so it is dark. There are many much better restaurants in the Times Square, TKTS Booth area.
Excelent food combined with good service in an unique landmark. Highly recommendable.
Service was not very good. Our food was not hot when it came out which makes me wonder if it was sitting waiting on the server to deliver it. The rice was undercooked. The food tasted good though.
Overall. Very good food and excellent service. Gray location if you are visiting timesmsquarenn
Very warm down in the basement. Food was dry, but guacamole good. Very loud.
The food was excellent. The server had way too many tables. It took forever to get a drink, place an order, get dessert, pay the bill etc.
Fine but nothing special. Everything was just ok, nothing really stood out. While it was not a bad experience there was also nothing to make us want to return. The street corn was very bland as was the rest of our food. Cocktails were acceptable but too costly.
Birthday. Inattentive waitress who we could never find
We are vegetarians, there were hardly any options for us anymore except some cheese-smothered entrees or mushroom filled entrees. A couple of years ago, my experience at this place was phenomenal! I remember thinking that it was the first Mexican restaurant that served veggies other than onions and green peppers when serving vegetarian entrees. No longer it seems.
The service was super slow, we placed our orders 20-25 minutes after we were seated, nobody came by to check up on us until then. We were not offered water another time during our entire 1 hour + time there. I understand it was a Friday evening, but when taking reservations for the time, I wouldnt expect the food and service to be so subpar for a restaurant of its kind. Honestly disappointed and would think more than twice to go back to this place.
Dos Caminos is our favorite spot for dinner in Times Square. It’s great for lunch, too!
Food and service was great. It was very hot though.
Food was tasty, everything that we got. But it was super expensive. $16 for guac...meals were a good portion which helped the fact that they were pricey.
Server was pleasant and did not rush us. Food was delicious. The option for “naked” tacos was a healthy choice. I will go back to one of their several locations. This one at 46th and Broadway was very convenient for a pre-show dinner.
It’s the Olive Garden of Mexican food and New York has much better food options for Mexican food and they are much less expensive - not impressed. Took a chance because it was near a show venue I was attending. Although the servers tried to please - it is just mediocre. Won’t be back.
Waitress took 45 minutes to get the cocktails to the table due to a glass shortage caused by an event being held at the restaurant. In addition every type of mezcal that was ordered they were out of.
Service was slow, food is better in the east side location. Sides with fajitas arrived to the table cold, had to ask for hot sauce three times.
Prickly pear margaritas good as always
Had the worst experience of my life . I usually tend to go to nicer restaurants but this one was a horrible experience . The guy serving was so rude and was acting like he was doing me a favour by giving me a table in spite of me booking on open table . He said inspite of booking a table we still had to wait and made us change tables twice . I was so taken aback by his behaviour I choose to leave the restaurant cos at the end of the day we aren’t taking a favour by eating at a restaurant. He was ill mannered and rude and no customer should be subjected to this treatment .
Food was really good. I love trying different foods each time I come here.
Our waiter Jordan was outstanding !! Both my friend and I have allergies and knew exactly how to handle us with care. He is the most sincere waiter, of you can ask for Jordan !!!!!
Margaritas were not good at all; probably worst we’ve ever had. My nachos were cold, my coffee was cold. Tortillas that came with the fajita dish were tiny- hard to wrap meat and vegetables inside. Should have figured that the location in Times Square was a tourist trap.
Service was good, food was delicious, will defiantly go back! The guacamole & margaritas were scrumptious!
When we arrived the hostess claimed we had no reservation. But they did accommodate us in the very back basement area of the restaurant right next to the kitchen doors. Service was prompt, businesslike and efficient. No warm and fuzzies which is to be expected in Times Square a dense tourist area where they rarely experience regular patrons. Drinks were good and strong. Food was not really authentic Mexican flavors but serviceable. Guacamole was fresh, chips were bland. If you must dine in the Times Square area before the theater this is an efficient if noisy subterranean choice.
It's great for the location being in Times Square, but I would definitely recommend other restaurants first. The service was okay. The food was okay.
It was good food, but we waited a long time for our meals and drinks and the waitress barely came to our table.
Always good food and drinks. Service is top notch
Great food and good service from Josh. I come here regularly and Josh was polite, engaging and knowledgeable about the food. Thanks for a good experience!
Good dinner. Great service.
I cannot recommend Dos Caminos - Times Square enough! Our go-to spot in the Theater District. Warm atmosphere for intimate or group dining. The variety and quality of food options is consistently delicious. I recently had to change to a gluten-free diet, and the staff was friendly and accommodating with ingredient details and recommendations. Plus they always recognize us as Landry's dining members. My highest rating!
Thank you for a very pleasant experience. Overall, the service and food was great and we had a very enjoyable time.
Sat down for 15 mins without anyone coming to my table. Had to just get up and leave
We chose his restaurant because it was close to our hotel and reviews boasted good food! Service and food were excellent ! It is not a QUIET place to eat, music was a little loud , but the excellence in service and cuisine overpowered the noise!
Had a great weekend ime
Went early with 6 and 4 yr old. Sat us right on time. Great service. I rarely write review but those with young kids appreciate quick and good service as attention windows close quick
Food ok. Cocktail are strong-good guacamole
Been to other dos caminos locations and this one is the worst by far. Nachos had no cheese. Serve left us waiting for very long time. Pitcher of sangria tasted like juice. Will not return to this location
I've been here several times. Only once has the service been less than stellar. The food is great, and it's perfect for a pre-show dinner.
Loved it, it’s margaritas the food the service everything is awesome
