"I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The quesadilla was amazing and the salad was great. Service was well-timed and friendly, drinks were affordable."

We were here for celebrating my 50th birthday with my family. Unfortunaly the service forgot our maincourse. Starters tasted very good. Music is little bit too loud. Overall we would like to give a second chance and rating also maincourse.

The service was terrible, the food took forever, they missed drink orders and it was over priced for what we got.

It was my birthday, which was ruined because of : tiny, cramped corner table they had reserved for us; two flight of stairs to the bathroom (I am disabled); ridiculous noise level like a disco instead of a restaurant; a dancing couple nearly having sex in front of the bar as we entered; tostadas we ordered were made with flour tortillas instead of the customary corn (I am gluten free). Terrible experience, and my birthday was ruined. We had come all the way from Virginia to NY and chose this restaurant. I'll never forget it.

We’ve been to Dos Caminos on several occasions and we are never disappointed. Our most recent visit was to celebrate a birthday and we had a great time. The best quesadillas we have ever had!!

Service extremely slow. Didn’t see our server for a long time. Took more than a half hour just to get drinks. Hostesses were rude. Three of our party of four were there, but they wouldn’t seat us. Food is delicious, though. Noise level is very high.

Too Loud. Not good for a quiet evening. They had a DJ that was playing music that made it impossible to have a conversation .

Food was very delicious! The Chili Rellenos were excellent! One reason it wasn’t a higher rating was that I had to ask more than once to get my drink, but the service picked up after that. Another reason is that as it got closer to closing time, they cut the lights so low, we couldn’t even see well enough to eat our dessert. Also, at one point the music was blasting toward the end. I would return for the food though.

Very authentic food. We have also dined at the one in the Meatpacking district and at both locations what makes it great is sitting outside.

The server never introduced himself to the table. He was not very attentive. However, the food was drinks were great. We really enjoyed the night out at Doc Caminos.
Our party agreed the service wasn't the best. We left a tip around 15% and the server looked at the receipt and asked "That's it?" as he looked around the table. Servers should not make such comments to customers regardless of how much tip the customers leave.

It was music was super load. We had a hard time hearing each other across the table, even though we were seated in a corner area of the lower level. Not a great place for people who want to talk over dinner on a Friday evening. Had no idea it's a DJ situation after 7pm and would have appreciated the heads up by the restaurant or OpenTable.

I've been there for lunch outside twice and it was fun and the food was good. Dinner was a COMPLETELY different story. The downstairs was filled with crying babies (9:00pm), and it reminded me of a Friday's. We moved our table and went outside which was also a disappointment. Every dish we ordered came cold, served with rice and black beans (4 dishes), and nothing tasted like it did at lunch. We will not be back! And - the drinks tasted like there was no alcohol in them!

Honestly: it was good, but wayyyyy too expensive. I think $120 for me and a friend who shared chips and salsa, 2 small enchiladas, 3 small fish tacos, and 4 margaritas is ridiculous. Plus I've never had great service here. Very so-so, and they always try to upsell you for chips and salsa or guacamole and they don't mention it's the price of a third entree. Not returning.

First time at this place for work lunch. Huge space: outdoor seating, upstairs and lower level. All the food was very good: taquitos, chicken Cobb salad, squid. Service was exceptional - fast, efficient and very pleasant. Several bar areas. Great place for group celebrations. Want to go back and try other food selections and some tequilas from their vast collection. Yum!

I have been to Dos Caminos many times over the past decade. This was my first visit back in several years and I brought a friend who had never been. As always the food was super but I was surprised by the unusually slow service this time. I will give it another try next time I'm in town.

Good choice in mid-town for Mexican / Southwest inspired food...consistently good food and drinks. Waitress was a bit too helpful/intrusive this visit...most likely as it was a Sunday evening.
