Swift friendly energetic Mexican - pumping music a plus & minus on a Saturday night. Clearly family friendly & guac starter is fabulous but could pump up the bill quickly or maybe urs just the Aussie dollar and 18% gratuity that makes it feel not quite great value. Still worth a visit!!

My family and I decided to try Dos Caminos after attending the Radio City Christmas Show. The evening started great with the service. The waiter was friendly and was able to take our orders right away. However, it went downhill after that. My dinner order was wrong. The server took it back to correct it but I did not see my dinner or the waiter until 15 -20 minutes later. By then, everyone in my party was done eating. The waiter did apologize but when we got the bill, we saw that he charged us twice for my dinner. He did deducted one dinner at the end of the bill. If I were the waiter, I would have deducted both for the messing up the dinner and bill.

Music was very loud & made it difficult to have conversation. Don't order the mojito, it was one of the worst I've ever had. Food was good.

This was our 4th time eating at Dos Caminos and definitely the worst. Our server was awful, I think it took 30 minutes to get Guacamole. My steak had quite a bit of gristle. Service was slow on everything.

We ordered guacamole, scallops, and naked tocos and margaritas. Food was flavorful and the fresh Cadillac margaritas were perfectly balanced. Stephen our server was attentive.

the welcome was warm everywhere from the hostess to the bartender while i waited for my friencd who was late to the waitress who got the chef to make my favorite market quesadilla that had been removed from the menu - not quite as good as before but still excellent - sat in the back upstairs which i didn't think i would like but lvoed it - quieter

Everything was to a T. Only suggestion is to turn off or better monitor the downstairs seating, that AC unit was on and it’s already cold outside.

Great waiter, great food and awesome cozy and lively atmosphere. Last year we went for drinks after seeing the tree and this year we decided to eat here after seeing the tree and the food was great. The guacamole was excellent!

I usually like to find nice things to say, but I have to admit it’s difficult to do when speaking about this experience. I’m quite sure this was the worst service I have ever had in NYC.

After waiting at our table for about 10 minutes, my date went back to the host stand to let them know that no server had come by yet. The hostess instructed my date to just “wait a minute” and then only asked her what our table number was. She decided that talking to the hostess would be fruitless effort, and she decided to sit down and try our luck at flagging down someone else.

We were able to get a manager’s attention, and I was confident the rocky start would be turned around. Unfortunately, I was wrong. The manager begrudgingly took our drink order with little concern for politeness.

Our server returned eventually to get our food order but barely said another word to us. We made our reservation at 8:15 thinking we’d have no problem making a 10:00 show at Rockefeller. There were several points when we considered leaving and trying our luck elsewhere, but when the appetizer finally came about 20 minutes after ordering it, we decided to stay.

I have to say the one good thing about this meal was the food. The front of house staff, however, would benefit from some additional training. We felt less than welcome after our interactions with the the downstairs staff from the hostess to the manager.

I do enjoy dining at BR Guest Restaurants, but I will not be returning to this one.

We went to a show at the York Theater at St. Peter's Church, east of Lexington. This location was convenient to that theater. It was a busy Friday night. The food was good (mole sauce especially), the room was pretty noisy but not TOO noisy. Service was VERY good.

"I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The quesadilla was amazing and the salad was great. Service was well-timed and friendly, drinks were affordable."

It was my birthday, which was ruined because of : tiny, cramped corner table they had reserved for us; two flight of stairs to the bathroom (I am disabled); ridiculous noise level like a disco instead of a restaurant; a dancing couple nearly having sex in front of the bar as we entered; tostadas we ordered were made with flour tortillas instead of the customary corn (I am gluten free). Terrible experience, and my birthday was ruined. We had come all the way from Virginia to NY and chose this restaurant. I'll never forget it.

Food was very delicious! The Chili Rellenos were excellent! One reason it wasn’t a higher rating was that I had to ask more than once to get my drink, but the service picked up after that. Another reason is that as it got closer to closing time, they cut the lights so low, we couldn’t even see well enough to eat our dessert. Also, at one point the music was blasting toward the end. I would return for the food though.

The server never introduced himself to the table. He was not very attentive. However, the food was drinks were great. We really enjoyed the night out at Doc Caminos.
Our party agreed the service wasn't the best. We left a tip around 15% and the server looked at the receipt and asked "That's it?" as he looked around the table. Servers should not make such comments to customers regardless of how much tip the customers leave.
