I always enjoy dining at Dos Caminos in SoHo. The service is excellent.
Even though starting storming, the waiter did everything he could to make sure we were comfortable. Such good food and drinks.
The food was awesome a bit pricey and the wait for my food was entirely 2 long other then that I have no complaints
Everyone has been making their outdoor spaces great to compensate for lack of indoor dining. This place did nothing to up the ante. Was disappointed. Thank goodness we were inside the gates. The tables outside the gates were just on the sidewalk, no shrubs. Nothing . You’d think that if a random coffee place can do it, the $20 quesadilla place can do it, but apparently not.
Food was great, the only thing was the wait. Waited about an hour for food to come out.
Great local spot for Mexican food and nice, cold margaritas.
Great service, delicious food.
Reserved for my husband’s birthday and even though I reminded them it was as if it wasn’t important so a little disappointed to say the least. Mental note.
Food took AGES AND AGES to arrive, as did the drinks.
We had terrible service at Dos Caminos. We asked for coffee 3 times before we got it, waited halfway through our meal to get sour cream and guacamole, didn't get all of our food till we were almost done eating what we did have, and felt like our waiter was avoiding us at all costs. The food was not great, either. We asked for bacon and it came out cold and looked like it hadn't even been cooked. The hash browns were not hash browns, I am not really sure what they were. Hopefully the other locations are better.
Service was slow, one drink came out in a dirty glass. Iced tea took 20 minutes.
Food was good, but the service was unimpressive.
Took my son for a birthday lunch last week - the guacamole was delicious the nachos were sort of soggy, quesadillas very greasy and the rest of the food was just subpar- lukewarm and very average. Expected way more from the dose Caminos chain..
Food has gone way down hill. Not sure if it's all the Dos Caminos, or just in SoHo. I've been coming to the SoHo one for years and loved it! This was the first time i didn't enjoy my meal. Both me and my friend agreed the quality has gone down hill.
The service is still top notch!
Went for brunch and The food was delicious! The first time I’ve ever had plantain empanadas and they were amazing! Rarely was there a glass empty for a long time. Good service, good food!!
Nice place, good food, the guacamole is a fan favorite and delicious! My only complaint oddly enough was how quick the food came to us! Within 5 minutes of placing the order our food was on the table. I didn’t mind this, however, for a date It felt a bit short winded and rushed. The food was pretty good and not too expensive considering the buzz around the place.
Reception - took less than 5 minutes for the hostess to lead us to our table.
Service - waiter took care of us very fast and very respectfully. he knew the menu inside and out. He recommended tacos which were really good.
Food - food was excellent, wine was OK but their margaritas look great.
The food was good, the ambiance was nice, the drinks were a little disappointing for the price point and the service could have been better.
Food was delicious as usual.
Horrible service. We waited for over an hour for refills, which when you’re paying for bottomless is unacceptable.
Our server was great but the guacamole appetizer arrived after the entrees. Food was good but not great and a little overpriced. Menu font is way too small, even with reading glasses!
This place is good for margs and chips and guac. The entree food is fine, nothing great. I've been here before but the service this last time was pretty bad. I came for my bday dinner and the waiter came to our table 2x. Once to ask for our drink order and the other to order food. He never came back to ask if we wanted another round of drinks, how our food was, or even to give us our check. We had to ask another server to bring it to us. AND might I mention the place was empty on a Thursday night.
It's fun to sit outside on the patio in the summer, drink margs and eat guac. Prob the only time I'll come back here.
This was my first time at this location. I’ve had great experiences at other Dos Caminos and was disappointed with our brunch. Our food (pretty basic brunch orders) took forever to come out and my friends eggs were ice cold. The server was not apologetic. Others who sat after us had their food well before we did. The kicker was when my daughter ordered mandarin sorbet and the server brought her vanilla ice cream and tried to convince me it was indeed sorbet. It clearly was not and she had to go back to the kitchen to get the correct dessert.
Great dinner and drinks!
Had a great bottomless brunch. Accommodating service and great environment. I would recommend.
Delicious tacos, drinks and wonderful waiter! Love this restaurant!
I've been to this location several times and was surprised by this recent experience. Service was incredibly slow! It took over 2 hours from start to end of the meal. The food was great - everyone was satisfied with what they ordered. I wish the service had been better.
Had a terrible time previously at brunch. This time definitely made up for it. Our server was great. Food was extremely tasty and Moscow mule was delicious
Love this place! Great food and amazing drinks!
Great for brunch! The Quesadilla Eggs Benedict was amazing, a must have!
Jammed in a table where I couldn’t even more my chair, watered down $16 margaritas, not given the choice of tap water and had to pay $9 for flat water. Tiny queso that was so salty and bad. Had to cancel our dinner meals before they came out and go to a different place to eat. Manager asked how every was and we said terrible and he said “ok”. Ruined our entire evening trip to NYC. Avoid if you don’t have millions to spend on crap.
Everything was great until the next day when fraudulent activity was found on our credit card. The restaurant was the only time we used the card that day.
Took my daughter here for her twelfth birthday along with four of our friends expecting a fun relaxed birthday dinner. Before we were even seated we were told that they had over booked and we’d have an hour for our seating. Then they seated us by the stairs to the bathrooms. As soon as our plates were cleared they handed us the check - no chance to order dessert for the birthday girl. Needless to say it was a disappointing evening and we won’t be going back.
A perfect place for lunch or post shopping/ Angelika bite! The staff are particularly pleasant. I love the prickly cactus margarita and the fish tacos or cauliflower options.
Great ambiance and food was really delicious. Place is great for bigger parties, so definitely a great choice when celebrating with a big group
Very average experience. Menu seemed very authentic on paper but actual plated, salsas and sides were not as much.
Fish was over cooked. Over all meals were ok. Guacamole was good as always.
i LOVE dos caminos! Their food and margaritas are always so good. The server was extremely nice. We had one friend who doesn't drink ask about mocktails and the server was able to list off a variety of drinks she could get virgin, which was awesome! (she said the virgin margarita was great!)
The only downside was how hot it was in the restaurant. They had the heat on full blast!
Great service. Server was really careful about our friend’s gluten allergy and offered corn tortillas instead of the chips with our guacamole order.
