Great service. Very attentive and pleasant. Will return
Great location for lunch ! Had a margarita and fish tacos which were very nice. The staff are super friendly and helpful.
DO. NOT. GO. HERE
Delicious drinks (the Grilled Grapefruit margarita is great) and decent food, but iffy service and overpriced.
A little overpriced for what it offers.
Saturday night. They rushed us (and other diners) to pay our $200 plus bill to leave well before the posted closing time, even though we were still working on our main course. According to the server (who quoted the manager) “we are closing early because it's a slow night.” Never offered dessert or coffee. Food was ok, but not worth being stressed by staff and management. Avoid.
Awesome restaurant in SoHo for a large group!
Excellent, as always!
The food and service were great! Excellent drinks! No complaints! It was a little loud and a little expensive, but that was to be expected due to its location. I would definitely return for another meal!
Great ambiance, great service. Food is ok. The drinks were watered down. I had two frozen margaritas and felt nothing. My other friends thought the same. So I wouldn't recommend those $16+ drinks for nothing.
I’ve been here years ago and from what I remembered the food was pretty decent but today we We ordered small plates the nachos with chicken we didn’t like well really the chicken on top the flor was off and I asked for guacamole and they told me it already comes with avocado on top but it was chucks totally not the same added flavor as guacamole would have had … I then ordered sweet plantains which those were pretty good … no drinks for us just water because we were so disappointed but the nachos it was a turn off … we then asked to sit outside and instead of offering the patio or ask us our options the waiter offered us to sit outside the restaurant for the on street set up they have … I just felt that was rude we should have options especially when I made a reservation and was specificity that on my reservation which they didn’t check … on top of that the “patio” has about 12 open tables so never saw the issue
It’s been close to two years since the last time I went to Dos Caminos. I used to love it.
The quality of the frozen margaritas is not the same.
Service was just okay. Main server was great. But we didn’t get plates, utensils, water until we had to beg for it.
Drinks arrived late.
Managers should care about those details.
Improve guys. Improve.
Good frozen margaritas
The front host was very personable and enthusiastic about a birthday we were celebrating. We were provided a tequila shot on the house to celebrate along with a champagne flute of frozen margarita with a candle in it to blow out for the birthday girl, which made our dinner really special and detail oriented. Food and margaritas were some of the best we’ve had and service was great. The salsa music was a bit loud but we didn’t mind as it seemed to keep the party going and the ambiance upbeat. We kept saying how we need to come back again soon!
The price for the size of the items is crazy! Not worth it at all, so many better non-chain spots throughout the city!
A little disappointed. I ordered the fajitas with steak and chicken. Steak was very tough. Service was slow. At one point I had to get up and ask for sour cream because they didn't bring any. Maybe short-staffed?
We went here to celebrate my friend’s birthday. The food and drinks were great, my only problem was that they didn’t grant my request in the reservation to be seated outside. Luckily the inside wasn’t too crowded but it was a little disappointing that we had to be inside on a beautiful day. Overall a good experience and I hope to return in the future when it’s a bit less packed in the patio area.
Very loud restaurant. Food used to be good at this NYC staple now very basic (over cooked and over sauced food). Expensive for what it is.
The restaurant is overpriced overpriced tacos small portions our tab was $150 for tacos !!!! The mango mojitos was yummy but never again will we visit !
The food is good but really it was the service that was exceptional! Great outdoor ambiance, good food and drinks, makes for a really good outdoor dining option.
the bathrooms were very dirty and looked like they had not been cleaned all day. Also, the steps coming up from the bathroom looked really dirty with droppings
Came to Dos Caminos for a friend's birthday. Out server was great and attentive. The food was outstanding and so were the drinks. We got an array of margaritas and started out with the chips and guac which are a must. Definitely will be returning!
It was our first indoor experience since things started opening back up and we felt very safe with the distance between tables. It felt almost like it was back to normal.
Host so rude. Food mediocre. No specials. So many better Mexican places in NYC, skip this one.
Dos Caminos - Soho is top notch, from the check-in to checkout. Everything outstanding Margarita, guacamole, steak asada, chicken tacos ... my first indoor dining experience for more than a year. Loved it!
Always my favorite for guac, margarita's and fresh entree's. Good place for friends to catch up!
The food and service were great (highly recommend the fajitas!) but the table was a bit small. Reservation was for 7 but we were given a table that felt like it would be better for a group of 5 or 6. I also wish they allowed you to make reservations for outdoor seating.
I was first here back in 1997 when it was THE place to be in SoHo. Lively and fun. Kinda sexy and cool. But in 2021, it's nothing of the sort.
The good: the food is good and tasty. Outdoor seats are where it's at and there is fencing so you are protected from the street. Our server Ashley was awesome, super nice.
The bad: the host was terrible. Caught in the rain, we came inside only to be told other people had to be seated first while he directed us to the worst seat in the house. We waited until a decent seat came up. Toward the end of the meal, paper debris fell off a server's tray, onto my wife's head and plate of food. They brought us another serving but by then we lost our appetite. Oh, and the margarita's were sour.
Some of the best Mexican food in Manhattan. Superb Margaritas and the guacamole made fresh to order with a trio of salsas and warm corn tortilla chips is a must have to start off your Mexican meal.
Simple, great food in a casual setting with great seevixe
The food was okay. Ambiance is very beautiful. Staff were okay. I felt we were rushed despite having a reservation and I felt that was not good.
Nachos had cold unmelted cheese. We sent back and they added more cheese and same. Under top layer cheese was cold and unmelted. Plus it was a weird cheese...
The only bad thing was they closed earlier than I expected. My fault for not checking that out before going. Other than that it was awesome. The staff was amazing and the food was great too.
The food was excellent. I did open table. Didn’t wait at all. The drinks were great. And the service was very good.
I don’t understand how customer service is such an issue these days. That’s the big issue. Especially from a restaurant a part of a chain. That’s my big issue. At these prices, I should have my silver wear and napkin by the time the food arrives. Someone should say hello and bring me water within a few minutes not 15.
Brunch deal was great - an entree, coffee or tea, and a cocktail for around $20 depending on what entree you pick! Was pretty packed in their outside area given it was a Saturday brunch situation, but overall was a good experience.
The service this time was abysmal. Food and drinks were ordered and cocktails came warm and half full. For $17, the expectations are MUCH higher. Guacamole arrived SO late that our entrees came immediately after and so we didn't even get to enjoy it. Food was passable but just not consistent with the prices. This is the second time in recent months that I've been and been disappointed. I don't think I'll be back for a while.
The service was excellent and the drinks were so good!
Don't arrive after 3:45 if you intend to catch brunch. They are also unclear and will allow you to purchase drink upon drink. There was gum by my bench, I didn't say anything. Just veered away from it. Had to ask for the table to be cleared when dishes were done and glasses were empty.
Should I have not asked if we were still within brunch time we would not have known that we were never given the brunch deal. They can work on being more communicative. If the servers are busy management should bus the tables. Management should also focus on the cleanliness of the ground and seats, not just the table surface. Drinks were good. I would go for drinks and chips and guac only as of now. Food could use seasoning.
Delicious margaritas and quick service. Chips were also really good!
