Bad wibe from busy staff whi was running around. Very very loud music. Dirty table, dirty glasses and the food was nothing special. To commercial. Has lost it’s magic. Huge disappointment
While the food was actually pretty good it took over an hour to receive our food, we even ordered it along with our drink order to get the food as soon as possible. The waiter only stopped by once or twice and did not check on our food until was almost over an hour since we ordered. We ended up getting the sides we ordered first then finished those and waited another 15-20 minutes for the tacos we ordered. When we asked about our food the waiter just told us it would "come when it comes." At one point he asked us how we were does "sans food"
Guacamole and chips in the small size was a perfect portion for the 3 of us as a starter but it did take awhile to get. Fish Tacos were good but not great. Same for service.
Very good food and service - highly recommend for both. Have been many times and will continue to go back.
Great guac
nice & quiet for a business lunch but i know it gets louder after hours. Had a great meal, everyone was very pleased with their choices!
Bachelorette party. Atmosphere and service were good. Food was unimpressive and overpriced.
Music was very loud, you could barely talk or listen to people at the same table. Very annoying.
Went for brunch with some friends. I got the salmon avocado eggs Benedict. It was pretty good. The drinks could have been stronger. But the service was excellent. The waitress would bring my next drink just before I finished. Definitely worth the $18 for bottomless drinks.
great brunch spot with good entree options, and drinks as well. The bottomless deals were great as well.
This is a great place, but the music is way too loud!
The meat I ordered was severely undercooked. Other than that it was OK.
Bad. Waitor showed up after 20 mins then never came back
Food excellent and fun vibe sitting outside. Only negatives they brought guacamole and entrees within 2 minutes of each other which was disappointing, and they did not accurately track my open table reservation so we looked like a no-show.
Excellent food and excellent service, also the music is very very nice.
Worst service ever...
Very Loud , overpriced for the food quality
I don't like this chain , doesn't work it
It was just a tad bit too cold
In the restaurant.
This event happened on Tuesday, February 6th 2018. There were literal MICE crawling on the floor. Yes, MICE. We politely told the hostess, and all she did was change our seats, did not tell anyone else sitting near the mice and then we paid $100 with no discount (EVEN THOUGH WE POINTED OUT MICE IN YOUR RESTAURANT). In retrospect, we should have left immediately. I cannot believe no further actions were taken, nor that we had to pay full price for that meal. Disgusting.
Brunch was delicious and great quality and value! Don't hesitate for brunch
Loved the location. Went there during brunch and did not have a chance to see the dinner menu. Appetizer, drinks, guacamole and tacos were good.
The enchiladas were good and the tacos as well. The environment was nice too
Amazing experience one of my go to stops in Soho!
amazing food and the potions are large
the cocktails are awesome
Magnifico!!ambiente molto carino, cibo eccellente!
Very disappointing . Have been to other dos caminos locations. My daughters have celiacs and needed to eat gluten free. Server completely unknowledable and uncaring . Offered no help or suggestions. Told us the chips were gluten free when in fact they are not safe because they are cooked in the same oil as non gf items therefore making the chips no longer gf since they are contaminated. He brought out a flour quesadilla even though he knew we ordered corn again because of celiacs. We caught the error , not the server or chef, and he shrugged uncaring took the meal back and it was 15 min more of waiting for the correct meal to come out. Restaurant temperature was freezing and we wore our winter jackets for the whole meal. Couldn’t wait to get the check and get out of there! Never returning
I loved dos caminos! however that night everything was extremely terrible. I have no doubt our server was trying, but there are no words to describe the horrible service my friends and I received.
Our waiter didn't seem to understand the concept of "we're short on time, so we'd like everything at the same time - how long do you think it will take?" Everything came out separately and it took too long for no good reason. Waiter went to pour water in my glass and I had to stop him because there was a chunk of something black stuck on the glass (he should have seen that). I ordered the sopa de tortilla and it had waaaay too much pepper in it. Couldn't eat it. At that point, he offered to have them re-make it without pepper but, as we had told him earlier, we were in a hurry. The chopped salad was good but they made no effort to present it nicely - everything was just thrown in the bowl. So the top was dry and I had to dig up the stuff from the bottom to mix it together. The tacos were good enough but not great.
We've been there before (about a year ago) and the food and service were much better. I'd give them another chance though.
Great food and appetizers for Happy Hour- although keep in mind happy hour is in a designated area of the restaurant.
Went for brunch with some friends. Guacamole was excellent, margaritas were excellent. We each had something different from the brunch menu; everyone enjoyed what they had. Great spot to hang with friends and have a few drinks over a meal!
I love the taste of the food in Dos Caminos but I don't like the laud music especially on Sunday brunch times. All i need is eating my brunch while being able to have a conversation with my friends without screaming. I don't appreciate when restaurants assume we want to party every hour of the day. BUT apart from all, the food is delicious. Smoked salmon eggs benedict is amazing.
Way too noisy and clearly pushing the booze. Not the usual DC experience but passable.
It was amazing
Great staff from the hostess to waitress. Very roomy for NYC. Didn’t feel crammed in like most NYC Restaurants. Food was excellent. Girlfriend had the short ribs and I had the steak fajitas. Big portions. Margaritas were amazing along with sangria. Would 100 percent come back
The service is amazing. I didn't like where was our table. The guys promptly switched to another table.
Super fun atmosphere! Bottomless brunch can't beat it!
This is a tourist trap. The wait staff is obnoxiously trying to upsell at every turn. The food was just ok and it’s really expensive. I haven’t been to any of the other locations but I can say this specific Dos Caminos is not worth the money. You can find better Mexican in the soho area.
I am always going to Dos Caminos, and the atmosphere of the Soho location is always perfect. I always seem to go when there is a DJ, and it makes me feel as though I'm at a party with my friends. That, mixed with great food and drinks, makes for a great night.
This is the only location where service suffers v badly
A very nice place, with excellent food. For us a little bit noisy. Very friendly staff.
