The place was busy. Took a while for our waitress to come. The mojitos were watered down, they were not good. The food was ok.
I came here for my 22nd birthday with a group of friends for their Saturday bottomless brunch and had so much fun! Their frozen margaritas were much better than expected not the usual weak sugary margarita they tasted fresh and perfect amount of tequila. I got the quesadilla and have never been so happy with a meal so simple! Definitely going back
Food tasted great and was enough to fill our stomachs. Drinks were good and environment is great. Definitely recommend to others and will come again!
We went there with friends for a sunday brunch. The wait for our food was very long, even just for our drinks. They brought all the entrees out at the same time, except for one that came as the others were nearly done despite waiting a bit for everyone to have their meals. The food wasn't that good for the most part. When someone requested a water refill, they would only refill that one person and not the full table, they seemed completely out of it. Good deal on brunch though with 1 drink + 1 coffee included.
We went here on a whim and were blown away by the food. The pork belly tacos were an excellent combination of flavors and the guacamole was delicious.
Food was great, the margaritas were beyond disappointing...and not cheap!
The food is diluted Mexican and the disregard of customers is almost sadistic. Where else would you expect to be seated a table away from staff preparing for the next shift, folding napkins, gossiping, and loudly discussing what they will do after work (it was 5:20 PM.). Inexperienced, but well-intentioned waiter delivered a cocktail on the rocks (after 15 minutes) and then returned with what was clearly the same
Drink now strained into a glass without ice (the second drink was prepared properly). It’s Soho, so your expectations are modest, but this experience just makes you more aware of what a tourist trap this is.
The restroom was filthy and the service was incredibly slow on this visit.
Food was amazing! It was busy so the noise level was high, but able to carry on conversation workout difficulty. Really great place!
Good food and all you can drink add-on for brunch was a great deal!
Great resturant experience, food and drinks were very good. Our server Ole was execellent.
Great service, didn’t like the seating being that it was a date the conversation was hard to hear, food and drinks were great. Overall a great time
The guacamole and drinks were great! Entrees were good but nothing too special. Great experience overall would recommend
I love dos caminos to an extent that I got the reward membership with them 😍. It is the restaurant I visited the most in New York. When you try a restaurant more than once or twice in New York it means it’s really nice. I go there almost every week.
Great drink specials. Food always good and service terrific!
The waitress just kept forgetting about us. They completely ignored our substitutions or she just forgot to write them down. This is the second time I had a subpar experience, so I’d just steer clear of here for brunch unless I’m specifically craving it.
We sat outside and it smelled a little like sewage
Incredibly disappointing. We chose Dos Cominos because of previously good experiences at restaurants like Blue Water Grill. In a restaurant that was perhaps 50% full it took 20 minutes to get water, and another 20 minutes to get our drinks. Our server was friendly, but inefficient and struggled to take our order. We asked to speak to the manager, which took another 20 minutes. When the food arrived it was good, and the service did get better as the meal went on, but overall the experience was very poor and we would never recommend this restaurant. What a let down.
Wasn’t impressed. I used to work here and it seems as if they changed everything. The food isn’t as good, didn’t taste as fresh. The server didn’t seem to know what the heck he was doing. I just wasn’t impressed. It’s overpriced and I won’t be back.
Quality has gone way down hill in past few years. Doesn't taste fresh. Not worth the money.
The LOUDEST restaurant I have ever been to. We chose to sit outside because we hoped it would be quieter, but nope. SO LOUD. They had a DJ that day and it was miserable for a 5:00PM dinner. They also dropped one of our dishes when they were bringing them over so we had to wait another ten minutes for everything to be prepared. The guacamole is served in large mortars to make it look like it is prepared to ordered, but it’s not, so I think the presentation looks cheesy. Also, the hostess was rude.
Amazing spot for brunch! The staff is extremely courteous. Even the manager, Emigdio, came out to greet us. Food is excellent! Ambiance is one of the best in soho. Great location too!
5stars dos caminos soho!
Too loud music , dirty place, bad quality food.
Food was delicious. Service could have been better but I don’t blame the waitress she did the best she could.
We went to Dos Caminos- SoHo for brunch and it was great! Who doesn’t want unlimited frozen margaritas? Having a margarita is such a great alternative to having the usual mimosa or Bloody Mary. We enjoyed the shrimp and chorizo guacamole, egg and chorizo enchiladas, and steak and eggs. The service great and our waiter was pleasant. We indeed plan to return soon!
Food at best average. Service slow. Would not go back or recommend.
They were very accommodating with reservation changes and put us on the patio. However, once seated, service was awful. Sat for 10 minutes before anyone came to our table, drinks took 20 minutes and we then waited another 15 before anyone came to take our order. A member of our group told the hostess that we had been waiting and she was met with an extremely rude and cold response. I also indicated that this reservation was for a birthday and they did not acknowledge that. I expected more quality service from a restaurant like this. Luckily, the food and drinks were great or else I would not come back again.
The foods was tasty but it's pricy.
maybe it's the location we should consider to pay for some extra bucks.
I'll be back for margaritas during a hot summer time.
I made a reservation a week in advance, then I received a call two days before the actual date to confirm my reservation. Over the phone I told that everything is fine and I will keep my reservation. When I arrived on Saturday, 10 minutes before my reservation time, the hostess did not have my reservation in the system and made me look like a fool. She was like oh maybe you got a wrong location or maybe you did not do a reservation!!!Rude! This young girl had no respect! I showed my email confirmation and then my phone records to the hostess. Then another girl came in and said that everything is book and there is nothing we can do for you, unless you seat at the bar! I was furious and speechless! I made a reservation to celebrate my goddaughter's birthday. Eventually she found a table, but it was a really small table( the cabin with 2 couches-perfect for 4 people, but not 5, especially giving the fact that we had 2 men). The hostess then pulled a chair on a side of the table and was like here you go. Omg I felt disgusted and was so close to call a manager. It was nothing even close to what I asked in my reservation. The reservation was for 5 people (including 2 tall guys). I told the hostess that I want a different table and I saw a few big tables that were available. I have to say that she agreed to move us. Overall, the evening was good and we enjoyed our food. However, the service was slow and the restrooms were dirty-no paper towels and water on the floor. I hope the management can improve their reservation system and actually teach its hostess ethics and some good manners and to how to be polite when interacting with adults. When you work in customer service, culture and ethics are important.
service was really mediocre, food was good. no excuse, because it was not full despite the ocassion
Great food and amazing margaritas.
bad management. they have no respect for reservations. made us wait for about an hour and we had reservations thru opentable.
One of our party ordered steak, which understandably took a while to arrive. Everything else appeared lukewarm as a result. However, the few staff were attentive in fixing the problem and were very friendly.
Sat outside for my usual - shrimp quesadillas !! My waiter was good in the beginning the. He got a little spacey
Agh, I’m saddened about my last experience there. I would happily go occasionally to this neighborhood place to check my Mexican food cravings knowing all along it was not haute cuisine but good enough for my urge. That certainly wasn’t the case yesterday:( the food took 45min to arrive, the taco pancakes were thick and soggy, be plantains were not cooked through, my friend spit out the red snapper ceviche and the spicy margarita was undrinkable had to send it back. This was not my usual experience there and I hope they get their act back together.
Had a terrific Cinco De Mayo and would certainly recommend it.
The brunch menu was falsely advertised as available. The service was sub par and constantly had to flag someone for water. The music was deafening and definitely not interested in coming back to this location
Overpriced with regard to the food and drinks, but can’t expect much else with a large outdoor seating area in that great of a location. Definitely a fun vibe, but left feeling a bit robbed.
Service was fair. Food was very good. A little pricey. Nice place for Cinco de Mayo. Good/vibrant atmosphere. They do offer outdoor dining. Overall a good place to go for casual Mexican dining. The bathrooms really are horrendous, however.
