Dos Caminos - Park

Friend and I got together at Dos for a hang out. It was great to see Laura and Sarah. Thanks for always providing us such great service and hospitality!

They made us wait for 40 min in the cold for our table and didn’t even offer free drinks or anything complimentary for our troubles. This is the only restaurant in nyc I’ve been to that wouldn’t have offered anything on the house for this. They offered the table next to us free shots for their troubles.

There was a mouse running around the dining area, the food was cold/not good, the waiter didn’t do anything even after we told him there was a mouse running around.

Shocked they wouldn’t try to make our experience better. I’m a foodie who has lived in nyc for almost 6 years and have many prominent food blogger friends so I know the restaurant industry quite well...I would say this was one of my worst dining experiences in NYC ever. I hope they take this feedback and become much better. I had been to other dos caminos places years ago and it was better. Has gone down hill.

Met up with some friends for outdoor dining. The food was good. Nothing super special. The outdoor dining set up was a nice tent in the street with heat lamps.

So nice to have Dos on Park in my neighborhood! I was greeted by Sarah when I walked in with a bug hello, Carlos was super friendly as always and stopped to chat and I love our server Endy, he’s the best and it’s always great to see him and the whole team! Kitchen staff thank you for always preparing great food! I love coming here!

The food was average and not great. The salad we ordered to share wasn’t good and we didn’t touch it. Even though our server was nice, the service itself was lacking. We were only 1 table out of maybe 5 other tables in the restaurant and we only got silverware and plates after the food arrived and after we asked for it. The table was dirty. It’s important to clean those tables especially during a pandemic..

The waiter was very rude when I inquired about whether my food would be brought out on time he replied “you’re not the only one in the restaurant”
Honestly usually a good experience at this restaurant but I’m not certain about the present wait staff

The food was mediocre at best , and pricey . What annoyed me the most was the fact that they charged $4.25 for a kids soft drink and then charged again for a refill. I realize that they need to make money and this is a high margin item , but it is awful . ( and they should tell the kid when they ask for another one since most places in the neighborhood have free refills ) The service was poor, could not find our waiter for a good 20 minutes. The social distancing was not good, tried to seat people at back to back banquets which were not 6 feet apart, good thing the customer rejected the table. The bathrooms needed cleaning . Drinks were good .

Not going back , there are too many better Mexican restaurants in NYC . They need to rethink the establishment since right now it is about keeping the customers that you get happy so that they will return , as there is no longer the endless stream of 20 somethings looking to hang out at the bar

Another fanatic meal with good service. Laura and Carlos were the managers and were very friendly. Always a pleasure to come in and dine with the team at Dos on Park! I had the carne asada and it was cooked perfectly! Burger was delicious. Thanks back of house team!

The waiter was so fun and was great at helping us choose tequilas!!!!

Love the decor. Food is good. Drinks are good. Really love the space and ambiance.

We sat outside on a cold day. That was fine, but the food was unremarkable at best, and very pricey for what we ordered. 3 small tacos for over $20 that were cool and rubbery. Still, I'd try it again. You could tell it had potential.

Service was great but go elsewhere for brunch. Food was not very good and my whole group felt sick from the food.

The space is big so I always feel very comfortable indoor dining here. Even their outdoor dining set up is very comfortable. Staff always very friendly and food is always amazing !!

We banned Dos Caminos 10 years ago for its unacceptably bad service but we thought, by now, it would be under better management. But it was again terrible. We were there for Sunday brunch with only a few tables filled. I don't know where to begin: wrong orders, slow service, cold old coffee,, and much more.

Enjoyable evening as always! Beta and Lauren and the hostess desk were great and helped me with my order and took great care of me!! I always look forward to dining with you. My experiences have been consistent this far.

I wish there was an option for three different tacos (i.e. chicken, steak, fish), instead of 3 of the same. Otherwise, the restaurant is beautiful. The service was good.

Atmosphere was phenomenal and the service was absolutely outstanding!
Food portion for the burger was small though.
Salsas were delish

The food was great, the service was really really slow outside. However, the space is very nice and not in the middle of the sidewalk.

The music was BLASTING and it was 5pm with a 40-70 year old crowd . Asked them to turn down 3 times

I would skip it . Way better, more authentic places in NYC. Very corporate .

Another fantastic meal at Dos! Shout out to Carlos the GM for running a great restaurant! He’s always in a good mood and friendly! Rosa our server was great! Fantastic food, thank you to the kitchen for always being consistent and great food!

Caesar the waiter was awesome. Very friendly, attentive and made great food/drink recommendations.
But eat fast and make other arrangements if you’re hanging out, the Manager asked us to leave after 90 minutes because he wanted to seat other people. Just know there is a 90 minute dining limit that is not made clear when you make a reservation!

Our server rocked last night! He was managing more than his fair share of tables (outside with us and inside too) given the circumstances and yet he still managed to laugh, have fun, and provide phenomenal service. Thanks for making my husband’s birthday dinner with our friends a smash hit!

Went for my wife’s 40th birthday which is no small feat during a pandemic. I could not believe how amazing the staff was. Dillon was a great waiter. The food brings us back here for every birthday for my wife and I. We are Landry’s club members which makes it even better cause we save some money. Highly recommended!

Waiter was terrific 1 man band 👍

We had to send back the frozen margaritas because they were much too sour. The brunch menu no longer had hot and cold drink options (one or the other). The avocado toast was a great portion and had two eggs. The steak in my steak and eggs was not cooked to order (med well) butthe hashbrowns and eggs were delicious. We ordered a mimosa and wine instead to replace the margaritas. I am a member of Landry's club and although the waiter said he ran my number through, my points were never added and I may lose my earned reward. I have gotten in touch with Carlos the manager and have not received assistance yet. My reservation was ready when we arrived and we were grateful driving in from Queens. Staff wore masks and the bathroom was clean.

We’ve been to multiple locations and have always enjoyed the food. This time was no different! We did feel a little forgotten about from the wait staff. We were surrounded by bigger parties and ended up waiting about 40 minutes after were done eating to be able to flag down our waiter to get the check

Without a doubt... the worst Mexican food I’ve had in NYC! Would never recommend mediocre food and lousy drinks... their Premium margarita is 3/4 cheap store bought sweet & sour mix ...

Cesar was a friendly, attentive server.
He seated us promptly and moved tables to accommodate our distancing needs.

Good food, albeit on the pricier side. Portions aren’t big

This was the first time I have eaten at Dos Caminos since the Pandemic began and I was disappointed with several things. First, I ordered a Strawberry Margarita which had almost no strawberry flavor. When I asked about it, I was told that they had run out of Strawberry flavoring. Second, we ordered a large Guacamole. When I asked why the serving was so small, I was told a large has two avocados. At $29.00 I will never order this again although I really like how it was made. The large did not even provide enough for me and my two friends. I am a Landry's Select Club Member and I expect more from them than what I happened at their outdoor patio.

I love Dos on Park! It is my neighborhood go to restaurant. Even during Covid the mangers are smiling and working hard! It is great to come in and see familiar faces and great food! Thank you Carlos, Sarah and Ingie! You all are the best!

Even with covid-19 measures in place, the team were extremely welcoming and the food and service were delicious. The best meal of our trip!

Had a 730 reservation, got seated 10 minutes later when the restaurant was completely empty. Waitress took 10 minutes to give us water and never came back to take our drink orders. We left due to terrible service. Awful experience.

Awesome happy hour, gets busy so get there early! Really good and big portions. Love coming here with friends :)

The drinks were good, but the service was disappointing. My friend and I were upfront about meeting for drinks only (not dinner) to the waiter immediately upon being seated, however he was annoyed ever since and treated us as though we were irritating him. There were plenty of open tables around us, we were not holding up a table from being flipped, and we ordered what we said we would. Rude.
