Before dinner we had a wonderful time with Chris and Melissa at the bar in the tavern. Their service was great and the conversation entertaining. Our great experience continued at the table where service was gracious and the all of the food excellent. We are already planning for a return trip.

This experience was so different from the other multiple times we have been to the Dorset Inn. Much worse. The service was fine, but the food wasn't good at all, plus it was overly salty.

A really delicious Mother's Day brunch! Drinks (bloody Mary's) and food (wedge salads and salmon for me, filet mignon for her) were creative and original without losing their time honored integrity. Really excellent! The large family seated nearby was active and pretty loud, but we enjoyed the energy of the children on Mother's Day. The dining room with its wood mantle and paneled wall lent a feeling of warmth and history. We hope to return often!

When reserving, add a note to request a table in the tavern. The dining room was very quiet and uninteresting. Service was slow and several different people attended our table. It was never clear who was our waiter/waitress.

The Dorset Inn is lovely! The ambience was wonderful. Several of us had the duck which was delicious! Our server was fun and we had excellent service! It was our first time at the Dorset Inn. We will definitely be back!
