Great food and Great service. We had a party of five and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was excellent and the service never seemed rushed.

Having been to many of the best steakhouses in the US, I can say the ambiance here is one of the finest. Our server was great too. The disappointment was my rib eye steak, it was cold when served. I know I ordered it medium rare, but it was cold when brought to the table. Medium rare steaks should still be hot when served. When I mentioned it, the server took it back and reheated it. Then it definitely tasted 'reheated'. My wife had a New York and it was excellent, she also ordered hers medium rare, and it was served hot. When she tasted mine, after the "reheat", she agreed that it tasted "reheated". Quite sad. Oh, I've also been to Donovan's in Phoenix and SLC, and they were great.
Food was good steakhouse fare. Disappointed that wait staff is not properly trained and cleared the table when one guest was still eating. I was very unhappy and made it known.
Set up a reservation for 4 at 8 Pm. After 10 minutes or so we asked about our table, we were told that our table was given to another group. We were then told that it would be another hour wait unless we would be ok with a table top at the bar. We decided to take he table top, but it also was not ready until 840.
Several menu items were not available, and ultimately our meals arrive at around 10 pm. 2 hours after our reservation. The servers indicated the reason for the delay was a convention was in town. Since San Diego is a convention city, I was surprised the restaurant could not handle or at least accepted reservations they clearly were not able to manage.
Finally, once the food arrived, some of the meals were undercooked, although others were very good. The manager eventually comped the meal, but the experience was easily the worst I’ve experienced.
I come here whenever in San Diego. Always outstanding to very good. The service was outstanding as always but the quality of the Ribeye steak was not as good as previous visits. They prepared the meat correctly but lacked some flavor and more fatty than usual. I will certainly return.
Outstanding service and ambiance. The seafood tower was AMAZING. All steaks were cooked perfectly. The augrautin potatoes are a must have for the side.

Great service but food was average. Steak was very good but lobster tail was tough and undercooked. Expected much more for the price. Restaurant atmosphere was very nice.
If you’re looking to go all out on an expensive dinner, this is the place to do it in San Diego! As a tourist from Chicago, this steak house is up there with the best in the business!
We had never been and wanted to try. The best part it was part of Restaurant Week and close to where we stayed/ The Grand Horton

Had dinner with friends we haven't seen a long time so we appreciated the quiet as well as the feeling that we were not being rushed which allowed us to catch up. Meal pace and service was perfect, and it was restaurant week to top it off! Staff was attentive but not intrusive. Great meal, we will definitely be back!

Lobster was small for the price. Flavor wonderful
