A very nice New Years Eve dinner. Everything ordered was very good, except for the angel hair pasta was mushy with a little too much marinara sauce. Other entre's ordered was Lamb Chops and Surf and Turf, Both very good. Michelle, our server, was excellent. Loved the ambiance here.
Always eat at Don Vito’s when in Las Vegas whether we are staying at South Pointe or not. Excellent Italian food options especially the Eggplant Parmesan and any of the chicken entrees. Tried the ravioli’s in vodka sauce and must say I’d go back to have them again. A real Italian food find!!
Ordered the "special" Rib Eye steak on 12/26/17. It was undoubtedly the worse cut of steak I've ever eaten! They should have been embarrassed to serve the shoe leather steak at any price. Won't go back.
Normally this place is excellent both in service and food. This time was lacking in both.
Everything was great, we had our family in from California and everyone enjoyed it.
Great place for Christmas dinner. Varied menu for traditional and non traditional dishes. Wine and cocktails were included. Great ambiance. We had a round table which allowed easy conversation. Relaxed atmosphere.
Don Vito's is our go to place when we are in the mood for excellent Italian food or a special occasion. As usual, the food, service and ambiance was excellent. We are looking forward to our next visit.
Food was good and the staff were very outstanding. I would recommend this restaurant gladly.
Don Vito's changed their menu since the last time we were there. Some items that were very good are now gone. It appears they have also raised prices. Not one of favorite places any more.
They do a good job at providing a good meal at a reasonable price
This was the second time my husband and I have dined at Don Vito’s. Italian Restaurant. This time was not a good experience. We dined on Dec. 11, 2017. The positive things about the evening included the delicious bread and salads. I had the champagne balsamic dressing which was wonderful and my friend had the blue cheese dressing which she liked too. My husband had the shrimp, and scallops seafood dish which he liked. My friend’s fiancé had the prim rib which he gave a taste to me and it was a little dry. Another negative thing we noted was that because the rodeo was in town the restaurant only had 5 Italian dishes on the menu. My friend and I decided to split the bone-in rib eye which we ordered medium rare. It was was medium rare but it was too tough to eat so we both sent it back. They did take off the rib eye on the bill and the waiter did apologize for the meat. I do not think I will go back.
I would not recommend this restaurant. The server was very nice and we enjoyed her service but the food arrived cold. We were a party of 4 and we all ordered something different, but all the food was cold. Three of us just went ahead and ate it that way because we were going to the show. The other person had his sent back and reheated. I also felt the food was way overpriced. We will not return.
Took a friend for dinner who was visiting from out of town. We had a amazing, wonderful dinner.. We had the Chilean Sea Bass, not only was it a huge portion, it melted in your mouth. The wine of the month for $20 a bottle was fantastic as well. The waiter and helpers were amazing... we sat for 3 hours, drinking our wine, and munching down on some great food... Thank you to the staff at Don Vito's for a wonderful evening!
Service was excellent as was the food. It was our 25th Wedding Anniversary and the waiter brought us 2 glasses of champagne and a signed card from the staff. We were very surprised and pleased they took the extra effort to do that. We really appreciated what they did for us, thank you!!! I don't remember our waiter's name, but we had reservations on Nov. 28th at 5pm...John and April Delabrer.
Had a great time time with the family. Lots of fun. The staff was great. Will be back again. My son is coming in from Arizona and will be going to make reservations again.
