We had a very pleasant dining experience at Domus. The food was delicious, the ambiance was nice and the service was excellent. We’ll definitely be going back again very soon.
The Chef came out and was delightful.
Marco and his team were very attentive and gracious.
Looking forward to our next Dinner at Domus!
Homemade pasta, pesto outstanding.
My husband and I love this restaurant. It is consistently good and we always find a “to die for” dish each time we go. The salmon- omg great! And the pasta- I could eat 3 servings it is so good!! The pace is relaxed, not rushed and we both feel cared for and fed like we feel at Nonna’s house in Italy. There are many Italian restaurants in Boca. Some have more glitz. But none have the warmth, class and great food that this one has. Please try it!
The chef was amazing!!!! Chef Tonino came out greeted us and explain the evoke menu!!! He also modified the menu for some of our guest dietary restrictions!!! It was my hubby 40 th!!!they made sure he had the best birthday and brought a plate with all of their desserts!!! Overall, the food was spectacular!!!best pasta I ever had!!!
Wonderful food !
My foodie, home chef, Italian husband raves about the pasta at this restaurant. It is the best in the South Florida tri-county area. The anti pasti was excellent and could have been a meal for me. So, when my savory salmon dish came, I had to take half of it home. The wait staff are attentive, and the chef visits tables as if everyone is a family member. We love this place. We hope you will too.
The food took a while to come out but when it did it was delicious! Chef came out and greeted us! All and all we had a great dinner!
Although I live and work in close proximity to Domus, my wife and I had never eaten there, nor had any of our closest friends. I had been reading the restaurant’s outstanding reviews for quite some time and my experience last weekend confirmed what other diners have reported: Domus is fantastic! We celebrated Father’s Day and my birthday with family. The Sicilian Fish Salad appetizer (shrimp, calamari, scungilli and octopus with lemon vinaigrette) was superb and a feature that will definitely bring us back. The main dishes had universal appeal. I loved the tagliatelle pasta with wild mushrooms and creamy truffle sauce. The lauded ‘Best Spaghetti and Meatballs Ever’ did not disappoint. My children loved their choices of chicken parmesan, herb-crusted grilled salmon and the penne alla vodka (with grilled chicken mixed in upon request). Chocolate layer cake was the unanimous dessert choice. The service was excellent and our server, Robert, was very pleasant, attentive and knowledgeable. Every time I have walked or driven by the restaurant in the past, the place was packed. This particular Sunday evening was very quiet. and I was told that things slow down considerably out of season, so I highly suggest that you take advantage of that and check out this marvelous restaurant this summer.
Tonino, the chef took time to personally inform us of the specialty items on the menu. They did not disappoint. Always great service and great food.
Always good food and good service.
Love this place
The food was fantastic but the service was horrible.
Domus is our #1 favorite for exceptional dining in Boca. Each time we return we marvel at the quality of the food and service. Alan always makes us feel special. We celebrated our anniversary and Mother's Day at Domus, and they did not disappoint. The Crab Cake Benedict is especially fresh for brunch. The veal and shrimp dishes at dinner are flawless.
We went for Mother’s Day and were very pleased with the experience. The food was terrific, the service friendly and attentive and we were made to feel special.
Very disappointed in the food. Bronzino was smothered in a bitter sauce which made the fish “heavy” tasting.
First bad meal I have had there. Will strike it up as amiss this time. Will go back once more and order something else.
Outdoor seating is lovely as long as they are not overcrowded. I have been there when a table of 6 women had a little too much to drink and were very loud which made the meal unenjoyable which made everyone else louder as if to compete. Not the restaurants fault.
Food is incredible, Will definitely go back, Service is excellent
Food and service very good.
The food was not as good as the first time I was there.
Very bad experience. We ordered a shrimp cocktail and found a metal screw and small metal price in the dish. Showed the waiter and manager and they took it off the final bill but said it must have come from the packaging.
The brick chicken was not as taste as usual and too salty and the gnocchi tasted like it came out of a can.
We came home and were extremely thirsty so it was much too salty for us.
Not worth going back. This was a disappointing experience
Have dined here 3 times. EXCELLENT!!!!!!
Three meals were great desert was really great two meals
Missed the mark. Chicken parmigiana and veal picata not to good
Overall we will go back
Food was great and we sat outside, which was lovely, because we were able to converse.
Delicious food, wonderful service,we ate outside in the front but high hedges blocked the parking lot.It was nice)
Eggplant rolls tonight had 2 as appetizers & delicious. Penne ala vodka large & yummy. Chicken parm was large(yummy) with fresh pasta. Too much parm .( I took it all off)
My husband has a delicious special of parapadelle pasta w/ cannelloni beans, spinach, & mushrooms in a white wine sauce. Delicious, but $28.00. It was a good portion though. Chopped salad and Caesar salad both delicious and could be shared.
Birthday chocolate cake was ok.
One problem- we parked ourselves @ 6:30. Got last spot. They have valet, but give yourself time to wait in line. The parking lot is crazy so just be careful!
We will definitely go back!!!!
My wife and I split the veal chop parmiagna . We have dinner on Sunday and adding some spaghetti had dinner at home on Monday. Delicious both times.
We love this restaurant but NOT this time!
Someone called out sick from kitchen n we were left with being served entrees almost two (2) hours later! Half the party was SOO infuriated they wanted to cancel orders n leave. We convinced all but one to stay put n chill out! Pasta dish over cooked by a lot, shrimp n veal Frances very good, lobster ravioli dish overdrenched in sauce, other dishes OK, Will give it another try!
Excellent food and nice ambiance.
I would stay away from Domus on Friday or Saturday. The place was packed, very noisy and the service was very slow. It took 85 minutes to get our main course. Also the A/C was tops cold on one side of the restaurant and too warm on the other. The waiter gave a reason of slow service was that they were busy. Their problem became our problem
When the food came, it was very good
Outstanding experience!! The atmosphere, service, and food was amazing! They go way above and beyond to make your special occasion memorable :) highly recommend
Wonderful restaurant. Great chef never a disappointment
Food is always excellent.
The food was excellent. The service great. The restaurant was willing to split their chopped salad between two people where each individual had good sized portion. I had the veal piccata where the veal was thin sliced and delicious. My friends had the chicken parmigiana and they said it was very tasty. I recommend this restaurant.
Very busy which caused service to be very slow and waiters could have been more supportive of the customers.
We found this gem in 2017. Came back 2028, and dined twice while in Boca for a week. Planning on returning often! Excellent food and service
Great food great service - Allan host very friendly and warm
Pesto with bread, veal parm and lobster ravioli - A
Marinara Sauce and Caesar salad- B
Service and atmosphere was excellent!
Everything was great as always!
The food was excellent. The only negative is the noise level in the restaurant.
One of our favorite Restaurants in Boca Raton- we will always return!
We felt rushed.
Excellent restaurant we sat outdoors indoors is very noisy.
Very disappointing dining experience for our special birthday celebration. Salads were unimpressive (our beet salad with spinach was mostly spinach, and very bland), main courses were also very disappointing. Branzino was dry, shrimp scampi was almost cold, and the staff managed to foul up the one dish we asked to be split between two people (they split the wrong meal). We had to ask to have our water glasses refilled, they never asked if we wanted a refresher on our cocktails. To add insult to injury, I personally went to the restaurant one hour before our reservation, told the hostess we were celebrating a birthday, and asked if they could bring a dessert with a candle. Instead, at the end of our meal, the waiter announced "I hear we have a birthday," ruining any surprise possible. Crossing this one off our list - we won't be back.
