The food and service were outstanding. Gene (sp?) was awesome. Can’t believe I hadn’t been here yet. Will definitely definitely be returning.
Great food, great service. Always a treat to dine there. Our waiter, Marcos, is the best. Really takes good care of us!
We are still talking about the pasta! Everything was so good! We cannot wait to come back on our next trip to boca. We got salads, meals and drinks everything was an A+
there were no people so we got all the attention. Great service and food
It never disappoints!! First class Italian dining experience !!
Wonderful food, service and ambiance.
The service was very good. What was a problem was that they let a “pet” in the restaurant and was barking at the bar. It was not in anyway a service animal. This was a woman’s dog. The law allows outside service dogs. Not inside at all. The restaurant allowed this and this was wrong.
Service was fantastic. Food and wine 🍷 selection were just as good.
Waiter was not friendly at all ! He should not be on this line of work because it does require you to smile and serve the table with a smile .
Excellent food. Very clean establishment with friendly servers. I highly recommend this outstanding place. Great food.
Food was excellent and so was the service. A little disappointed at the portion size for apps.
The octopus salad was a rip off, and awful!
The veal Milanese was terrible!
You need to do step up the quality!
BEEN THERE QUITE A FEW TIMES AND ALWAYS ENJOYED IT. fOOD IS CONSISTANT. SERVICE GOOD . ONE OF OUR FAVORITES
Excellent food. Authentic Italian. Nice ambience, friendly staff and good service. Dessert was a great finish, in particular, the freshly made canolis. Definitely go back again.
We love going to Domus and haven't been there for a little while. We are so glad that we went back. Their food and service are always outstanding. I had The Best Spaghetti and Meatballs (and they really are) and my husband had the Chicken Marsala. Both dishes were fantastic. Our 2 friends were equally happy with their meals. I asked if Chef Tonino was in or not and we were all very sad to hear that he just recently passed away. He was such a special person as well as a terrific chef and he always made sure that our dining experience was top notch. We did get to meet one of the other chefs (Chef "O" - I am completely drawing a blank on his name right now) who came out to talk to us. He was also very nice and the quality of the food was as great as it always has been. We definitely will be going back again and again.
The food is overprice. The ambiance did't exist. One of the worst meals that I have had in Boca Raton Florida. I will be surprised if they are in business next year
I should start out with a disclaimer that we went at 8pm on a Wednesday night in July so it was quiet. Food was amazing and service was great. Portions were huge. Canolli was fantastic. I had the branzino and my husband had the chicken franchaise that you could cut with a fork. Will definitely be back when we visit Boca again.
Service excellent, food was good but not hot, my Veal/Shrimp Francese tasty but gelling, must have sat in kitchen, too long before bringing it out
Meatballs good as well but also nit extremely hot, didn't want to complain
Papardelle Bolognese excellent taste
Food was delicious, and service was great,, will be back !!!!
Very good as always Thoroughly recommend Domus for any occasion !
We love this place! I have gone a few times with my fiance and father, this place does not disappoint. Great food, have the Zuppa Di Pesce and grilled octopus appetizer, the seafood is fresh and delicious. Exceptional flavor. Don't forget to have the tiramisu for dessert. The staff is courteous and professional.
We absolutely loved everything about the restaurant. Our waiter Marco was wonderful and attentive. The food was so delicious, and I especially loved my shrimp entree. We would go back and recommend it to all our friends!
I had dinner there recently. The standout feature of our dinner was the service, which was outstanding. The food was very nice, too. And the blueberry sorbet was something I will get the next time I visit.
I will be visiting again soon.
There were 4 of us and 3 out of 4 though their food was terrific. However, I ordered the crispy chicken and it was anything but Crispy! It was the opposite of crispy. Then a server went to remove the dishes and spilled an entire glass of white wine on my shirt and pants. He gave me another glass of wine but never offered to pay for the dry cleaning!
I highly recommend this restaurant to all!
Domus is a wonderful restaurant for authentic Italian food and great wine! The service was excellent as well. I would highly recommend this amazing restaurant to anyone.
3 of us had dinner at Dumas. We sat outside. Restaurant is in a strip shopping center. We each tried different dishes. The truffle pasta, shrimp scampi and meatballs were wonderful. A little pricey but consider its Boca. I asked waiter for suggestions for mixed drinks. He didnt have any. That’s the reason I have 4 star for service. Although it was good not sure I’ll return
So many other options that I will try
I thought the food was fine but not outstanding; therefore, value was not there for the price of many of the dishes.
My wife and I have eaten at Domus several times and have enjoyed it each time. We opt for an outside table where we find the noise level very acceptable, which makes it easier to enjoy the food. Clams oreganata are excellent, the pasta dishes also, and the fish specials have always been terrific.
Why do we love this place? The three reasons are Ernesto, Ernesto, Ernesto!!! Ernesto, the manager is the best that we have ever known. Ernesto is always there to greet you and is very personable. The service is great and Ernesto keeps this place running like a well-oiled machine! He has just introduced a great three course Prix Fixe menu Sunday through Thursday at $35 per person, which is great for us year round residents. The Northern Italian food like the homemade pastas, with tasty sauce variations, Dover sole and the veal Franchese are consistently wonderful. The ambiance is upscale and yet with an elegant warmth. It is located in the beautiful Royal Palm Plaza which is nearby for us but definitely worth the drive. Valet parking is available if you dine later when the lot is full. Definitely a 'Must Try'!
Lobster ravioli will keep me coming back!!!
One of the best dining experiences my wife and I have in a long time, the food was wonderful, atmosphere great, but the Manager, Ernesto Graniero, was outstanding, very professional and knowledgeable, and was constantly working the tables and guests to make sure everything was to their satisfaction, he went out of his way to accommodate me and my wife in a wonderful setting outside. The best restaurant manager I have seen in a long time. It’s a little pricing, but you get what you pay for, that’s for sure and we will be back again in the very near future
Restaurant had a party inside seated outside but waiter was new and got the drink order wrong and was very slow. We left and ate elsewhere
Very disappointing. Usually one of our favorites
1 year anniversary..1st dare was at Domus
All good was excellent except my dish which was extremely salty. I had eaten as much as I could before we complained. Manager was extremely attentive. Took my dish off bill, offered new which I declined and was very respectful of the situation telling us that the dish was truly to salty and thanked us for advising him. The ambiance is great. Service good. We will go back
Excellent service and great food. Meat sauce was very good and the truffle pasta was excellent. Would definitely return.
We were seated right away. We waited for our drinks to be served. One of the drinks was spilled and the glass was broken. The staff was attentive in cleaning up the floor but failed to take care of the rather wet tablecloth. I was eventually given a second cloth napkin to place at my table setting so that I was not eating on a wet tablecloth. I was given a second drink and not charged for the second one. We waited over an hour to be served and spoke to the manager who offered us a little monetary compensation and a small drink to try to make up for the poor service. There were empty tables at the restaurant. Our waiter was working very hard but....
I have been to this restaurant several times and enjoyed my evenings there. This time, however, we were all disappointed with the service.
My wife and usually I eat at Domus once a week because it has the most consistently excellent food and service in the greater Boca Raton area. Ernesto, the manager, always makes us feel at home, and it is a treat to listen to the suggestions directly from Chef Tonino, who often visits our table with his friendly demeanor and a description of the specials du jour. The veal francese is the most tender one could desire, and sometimes Tonino will surprise us with his wonderfully prepared ricotta cheesecake. For a delightful pasta dish, we suggest trying the homemade pappardelle bolognese, perhaps requesting the addition of some sausage. The lobster ravioli will tantalize your taste buds. And for those who enjoy fried calamari, it will melt in your mouth.
I visited Domus three times in a week a couple of weeks ago. On a regular basis at least once or twice a week. Food and service are beyond exceptional. I always enjoy visiting with the manger, Ernesto, and the chef, Tonino.
The food was very good. We were there early, and it wasn't crowded, so the service could have been faster. Our party enjoyed two very good bottles of wine, but were charged for bottles significantly more expensive, which they corrected when we pointed it out. I would just suggest that anyone going there check their bill carefully.
Food was delicious. The service is always good. The decor is very pleasing. Really pleasant and delicious restaurant right in Boca Raton.
