Our server was very good but our cook at the table was very mediocre. Lacked energy and seemed to just go through the motion.
We had a couple of sushi rolls to start dinner and they were good. We had chicken, shrimp and steak at our table and thought the chicken and shrimp were very good and the steak was just good as it needed a little more seasoning.

Great place to go with a group. We took our 9 member immediate family there over the Easter and Spring break holidays and it was great. We had 3 smaller kids and they have nice options for them. Food and service were excellent. Chef was wonderful and put on quite a show for the kids. Always a great place to go.
We had a very enjoyable time & enjoyed our meal. I made our reservation with ease online but there was one jarring issue. I indicated in my reservation that we would be celebrating a birthday, & showed the birthday coupon when we arrived as well as to our server...But NO acknowledgement was made of the occasion during our time at the restaurant.

The exhaust in this restaurant did not appear to be adequate. My eyes were stinging the whole time & my suit smelled of the grill.
It was a slow night so there was not a lot of energy there. The experience was still solid. I like the changes to the menu.
I felt that it was way more expensive then other places in the area. Also, the cook was good did an awesome job but when it came to even proportions of food he gave me a plate full of onions because by the time he got to me that was all that was left. The veggies are my favorite part and I am pregnant and I got a plate full of onions. Was not happy. Will not be going back!
We were HIGHLY disappointed and may never return. I had booked a reservation for 4:15 Valentines Day on OT PLYS I added a comment in the Comment Box that we had a Groupon Voucher, PLUS I called and left voicemail at the Aurora Domo 77 to please return my call confirm the table reservation and that we wanted to use the the Groupin voucher.. We teceived no reply from either OT or Domo. We drove half hour through a snow storm to get there. We entered the property past the garbage dumpsters to park. The walk-up entrance had dirt splattered everywhere, including on the glass door and windows. Multiple notices were plastered on the door in a huge font size.. NO COUPONS ACCEPTED TODAY!! We walked in to appeal. And even after I told here I had mentioned the voucher online AND in the VM, asking for confirmation, she bluntly and unsympathetically repeated NO, NOT TODAY! This was an extremely frustrating and upsetting experience from beginning to end!!
Usually I love the food here but this time it was terrible. It was so salty I couldn't eat it and I'm a salt lover! And they changed the mustard sauce. It used to be my favorite thing about eating here... I dipped everything in it. But they changed the receipt and now I don't like it. Shame.
It Was 20 minutes before our drink order was taken, another 20 before our meal order was taken. And we waited an hour before our food was even prepared in front of us.
Terrible experience and will not be back.
Had 3 waitresses, not good service. Waited over 15 minutes to get check so we were late to movie.
The best part was the preparation of the food...fun to watch. Food could have used more flavor. Disappointed at the prices of the food and poor service we had that day. We won't be back!
Very good service
This is a nice restaurant. We went on New Year's Eve and they were swamped which delayed our being seated even with a reservation and having a backup for the server to start preparing the food. The server was great. It was just hard to hear people not sitting next to you, which made it uncomfortable. I have been to other Domo77 and would try it again.

We stopped in for a quick meal before a packing session at FMSC. We notified the restaurant of our tight timeline and they were able to accommodate. Sushi rolls were delicious and interesting specialty rolls.
Was looking forward to trying this place as I've heard good things ...but was very disappointed and would never eat here again. The dividing walls were full of grease there was pieces of food from the last dinner still on the grill when we were seated the menues were disgusting to the touch. They cooked the meat first so if you waited for the vegetables and rice your main course to the meal was cold our bill for 7adults and 1 child was over 500 for food that honestly wasn't that good . The soup was nothing more than chicken broth no choice for salad dressing and only 2 sauces that were not good served. IT Sad when a Mexico resort does hibachi better . WE WERE THERE TO CELEBRATE A BIRTHDAY OTHERWISE THE CLEANLINESS ALONE WAS ENOUGH TO MAKE ME WALK OUT.

A little underwhelming an experience. Brought son for his birthday as we do most years and don't plan on coming back again. Staff is friendly, but not attentive. Chef was nice, but didn't really do many tricks which is the point of these types of restaurants.

Food was good - service and chef were very good - unfortunately the facility really run down and you can tell that there has not been money spent on upkeep - everything is pretty worn out and dirty.
Several of us had steak-it was excellent, which was surprising because almost every other aspect of this restaurant was underwhelming. The actual restaurant feels tired-needs a serious refresh and breath of life. Artwork on the walls is dirty and broken. The table was dirty-rag marks on the granite, there was a big stain on a napkin and the plates had a sheen or oil on them. I was cringing almost the whole time. My son thought it was amazing though. The chef was nice.
I went here on a date and had a horrible experience. The cook we had didnt even talk to us or even try to entertain us. This isn't our first time to a hibachi restaurant and know how it works. Our cook literally cooked our food very fast like he had to go somewhere after. The only trick he did was the onion train and called it a day. If I wanted to take my date to somewhere like that then I would have just got Chinese food takeout for cheaper. I was pretty embarrassed to bring her there.
The food... It was good but I don't get why you cook the entree meat first and by the time you get to the rice and vegetables, your meat of choice was cold.
The chairs in Domo restaurant are in desparate need of replacement. The cushioned seats no longer have any cushion left and the chairs are wobbly. It feels like you're sitting on an unstable wooden chair. Very uncomfortable.

Food tasted great! We had not been there in 11 years, brought back so many memories. I was a little nervous because it was not busy, but everything was great!
They were very busy with a graduation rush and it took an hour after our res for the chef to come to the table. My husband and I have dietary restrictions as well, which were not handled as well as they could have been. The chef was also very boring, which was disappointing because that is the whole point of a hibachi style restaurant. Guest recovery was strong. Manager took my complaints very seriously. Overall, not a great experience.

We sat on Morher's day for 30 minutes no server or drinks. Carpet filthy. One of the grills broke so they were shoving people everywhere. We left and went to Tairyo Which is also Japanese steakhouse over by Chinn's 34
Our waitress was awesome! She was really engaging with my two kids and even brought them free sundaes because they finished there food. They also gave me and my mom a free rose for Mother's Day which I thought was really nice.
Food was good. The restaurant needs updating. The chairs were hard and uncomfortable.
Server was polite and came back often for refills. Hibachi chef was funny and also did a great job
