Dominick's Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
Beautiful restaurant, we sat in the wine room. The food was excellent, from the appetizers to main course, I recommend the bone in filet to the delicious deserts. Staff go above and beyond to make the evening special. The hot towels were a wonderful touch.
I would recommend Dominic’s to anyone wishing a extraordinary evening.
We have dined at Dominick’s 4 or 5 times in the past and the staff has always delivered on a great dining experience. We have tried numerous food categories and they have been consistently good. This latest visit was a business dinner heavily focused on beef. All members were very pleased with the prep and quality with some members of the party sharing a Tomahawk which they particularly enjoyed. Dominick’s is a safe choice for a special meal.
Our dinner was nice and the food was good. The only troublesome things we ran into was when we were charged for a salad that we didn't know would be at an extra cost to us, and when I paid for a drink that I told the waiter was too strong, not to my taste, and also did not consume. It felt tacky to argue over such trivial problems, so I let it be in order to preserve the overall happy feeling of the night. I would recommend this restaurant, however don't expect the service to be very helpful or fair.
Excellent food, as usual. We split a “crab cluster,” which was fantastic! I could not finish the leftovers in one sitting! The shrimp and crab mac and cheese, though very pricey, was absolutely killer. The martinis were perfect. While I’ve always had great food here (steaks and seafood), they really nailed it at my birthday dinner.
It may be pricey, but worth every penny! The service is top notch! The entire wait staff was on point. What restaurant calls you the day after to make sure you had a great experience?! And the food was amazing! Your plate is sizzling when it gets to your table. Definite must try restaurant if you’re a foodie.
I am disappointed I can only give five stars!! From the time we were seated at our extremely well-appointed table until Brad, our Waiter (I can’t think of an adequate label for all he does), shook our hands at the valet station - everything was perfect!! My wife and I rang in the New Year with an excellent Cabernet! Our dining included a prelude of oysters on the half shell (an awesome presentation) and pork bellies that led to the most amazing steak I have ever had (and I grew up in Montana!). Sorry I can’t comment on dessert, by the end of the meal we couldn’t consume any more — but we wanted to!! If I lived in the Phoenix area, I would be here on a regular basis!!! We visit a couple times a year and this is a new favorite that we will come back to! Treat yourself and experience one of the finest Steakhouses you can find anywhere.
Best steak house in scottsdale! Quality of food and service was outstanding and you will not be disappointed, once you get seated. Unless you want a bar scene for dinner, request upstairs area as it is quieter and more relaxed.
Check in was not reassuring but our experience here has never been good at the door. Luckily the level of dinner service is extremely good. The greeting process and attitude could be improved and if done, all areas would be a 5. Millennials may be the future but they don't spend like boomers and their approach is not sophisticated at the door.
Net net, our first pick for steak in a town with too many steak restaurants.
Professional presentation, service and performance. Excellent wine choices and the cocktails were well received by those who imbibed. My Diet Coke was predictable. The waiter and servers were excellent and the meal moved well with good attention. The food was good, steak and fish, but not over spiced or buttered. Very nice. Definitely a fine meal. Standard foods well presented.
Natasha was excellent. Lucked into getting her both times tis week. Hostesses were a complete fail. Unaccommodating, rude & not one of the 5 girls hanging out at the reception desk was helpful... plus it was early! This was a client dinner.
I managed to find a table on my own... once that was cleared it was standard issue high quality from there on.
Our visit was for the expression intention to look for a great steak and that is what we got. Service was perfect. The dinner was perfect. We enjoy a good steak and happen to cook great ones ourselves. It is rare that we feel the restaurant was better than what we can do but that happened here. Fantastic (but you pay for it!)
This was a $700.00 waste of money. We went out for a special holiday dinner. We were seated in a corner in a small room near a wait staff stand. My husband & I shared a bone in rib eye and lobster. The rib- eye was just ok. The lobster was some of the worst we have had. My son also had a rib-eye. He ordered it medium rare and it came medium well and the worst of it was, there was a hair on the steak. No apology was given and it was taken away to be returned 30 minutes later when all the sides were cold. No manager came over and the steak was left on the bill. The dessert was complimentary but what was needed was an apology and when you find hair on your food it needs to be taken off the bill. Our waitress, although pleasant, also disappeared for long periods of time. The whole experience was a big disappointment.
