I have been to all the steak chains, and they’re all good, but Dominick’s is at the next level.
Brett was our waiter, and he was above and beyond professional.
The fried deviled eggs were decadent, and the sides were as good as any steakhouse.
I love that the steak (I had the bone in ribeye) was perfectly done on a 500 degree plate. They don’t all give you a hot plate and it does make a difference.
Overall, worth every penny!

Went there for 40th anniversary and specified anniversary on the reservation. Food and service were excellent, but the noise level pretty much ruined it for us. Could not hear each other across the table. Looked around and did not see any available tables that might be quieter. Restaurant made follow-up call next day to ask about our experience and I told them about dissatisfaction with the noise. Their response was that next time I should specify a quiet table. Now I know.
My wife and I both agree that the Waygu Filet is the best filet we have had around the country. We both like ours medium rare and was cooked to perfection. If you want an unbelievable steak you need to try it.
The meal was absolutely perfect. The wine, the steaks, the creme brulee corn. All of it including the service was exceptional. The only disappointment came when I got the bill. Our server who I liked very much had recommended a seafood tower to start the meal. He said that he would arrange something for us, which was appreciated. As I was with clients, I did not ask the price. I should have. The Tower was $380 of our $1200 meal. When a steak joint has steaks for $40-90 dollars, I wouldn't think that the appetizer would be 4x the cost of the best steak. Very disappointing on an otherwise exceptional meal.
Not impressed. Stake was way too salty and peppery. I have had better stakes at less formal restaurants that were superior. My wife’s stake was the same way, disappointing. Mash potatoes were delicious as was the loaded potatoe. Great selection of wines, and server was nice and with a reservation we only had to wait 2 to 3 minutes
First time to Dominicks and won't be out last The next time my husband and I return to Scottsdale, we will definitely return to Dominicks. Food was delicious and each course served with just the right amount of time in between. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our waiter, Julio, did all he good to make our experience a memorable one right down to dessert (Beignets presented on a tree figure.) Great presentation and way to end the evening.
We celebrated our Anniversary and this was the perfect spot. Very attentive staff who are all professional. Recommendations from wine to sides, main course and desert were all spot on. Made our reservation with specific requests and they were all met with flying colors. The bar area is a little loud but not where you have to yell to have conversation. Steak was done perfectly, seared Ahi perfect and the creme brulee corn was crazy good. Highly recommend this place for any occasion. You get what you pay for and this place is not in everyone's budget so if you are ready to have an experience, you should make it a point to visit.
Great food and fantastic service!
Was there on a double date with some friends. Service started out good, but went down hill after an undercooked steak was delivered to the table. The steak was sent back to be cooked more. When the steak returned, it was still not cooked properly. Due to the rest of the table already waiting to eat and the food getting cold, it wasn't sent back a second time. This was pointed out to the server, and her attitude quickly changed to unpleasant and annoyed. Moreover, not once after that did a manager come to our table to talk to us. Very unhappy with this lack of customer service and caring.
