Dolce Italian Ratings and Reviews
Vibrant upmarket Italian Restaurant, excellent service throughout and excellent standard of food. We had a gift card which we chose to redeem here after reading the reviews and menu, whilst the Opentable Gift Card seemed to cause a little confusion initially it was confirmed and accepted after a discussion with the manager. This was the only negative point, but did not spoil an excellent evening.
May be the best meal I’ve had...ever. Every item we ordered was so beautifully presented, tasted incredible, and had something special in it that elevated it beyond just classic menu items. We were able to try the carpaccio, hearts of romaine, meats and cheese small board, branzino, and Tiramisu. Do not skip the Tiramisu. It’s a must try and I’m not a dessert eater typically. We loved this place but decided to try the Leynia across the street for lunch our last day, and it took ten minutes for the server to even come ask us if we’d like water once seated. We left and went to back to Dolce and had fabulous service by Dejan and some delicious cocktails. Tuna Tartare was delicious and the Tartufata pizza with truffle oil was out of this world. Can’t wait to visit again!
Our waiter, German, was very knowledgeable about the wine, coffee and food. He and the rest of the staff were very friendly and the ambiance was second to none. The food was absolutely delicious but most importantly, the espresso or espresso based drink to finish off your meal is the best you'll ever find in Miami.
I ate lunch at Dolce after a colleague recommended. Dajan, my server, was friendly and attentive. He recommended the Tuna tartar as a starter, excellent choice. Beautiful presentation, fresh and to the point. I followed with the sea food risotto... again, spot on. Rice Cooked to perfection, al dente, full of flavor, generous portions. I didn’t have space for the home made tiramisu... but I promised to come back, so I will. Claudio de Batman was also very friendly and Julio the manager was kind and stopped by to make sure I was being taken care of. Apparently their pizza is also very good.
Food was good. Service was HORRIBLE. Had horrible waitstaff with attitudes, slow, never had a refill check, our glasses were removed without being asked and we were waiting for a refill to see that our waitstaff just removed the glasses. Was not seated for a reservation because the whole party was not there yet, and watched them seat and serve one person who was waiting for his party of 6. They claimed he was setting up for a party and he was not. When I called them out for it, got an attitude for the hostess. Will not be going again due to the service, food was not worth it.
Was disappointed with the fact that it took 20 mins to 2 glasses of wine. And that it took almost and hour and 20 mins to get our meal for 2 considering most tables had already stopped ordering so not realt sure what delay was. Ordered a pasta dish and a steak, nothing to complicated
Amazing dining experience! The waiters were extremely kind and helpful when deciding to order-- the menu changes every two months or so, so I asked what he recommended and i received the pesto-- it was some of the best pesto I have ever had and the desserts were phenomenal as well (I had the gelati)!!
