Been here several times and food and service consistently good.
HOWEVER on this night my group wanted to sit outside.
All was quiet until "LIVE" music played next to our table that drowned out conversation with blaring speakers, made worse by an inept singer who could not sing! Add to this the ambient screeching of cars on the street on this busy night made for a less than enjoyable dinner.
So if there is "LIVE" music outside opt to sit inside and spare yourself the grief.
Always a great dinner & time spent eating excellent food with family and friends.
What a treat!
We decided to try this for our anniversary and it was a great choice!
We started with the prosciutto and Burrata, as well as an arugula salad. Both were fresh, flavorful and hit the spot. We then had a pizza (Capricciosa) which was phenomenal! Great sauce and the olives went so well with the ham and artichokes!
For our main meal, we had spaghetti and meatball and pappardelle. Both were excellent and decent portion size!
We finished off the evening with chocolate cake and ricotta cheesecake and once again we loved both!
Other than the food the drinks were also delicious!
I was a little bummed out they didn't have the str pizza since it was shown on their Instagram account.
Lastly, the servers and host were all very courteous and provided excellent service!
Highly recommend if you don't mind spending money on good food!
It was fun. Our waitor was very attentive. The noise level was loud as the street is busy and rowdy at times , spring break.
As always just a great place!!
Wonderful experience at this restaurant. We were on vacation and looked for a neighborhood restaurant. The food was great. We had lamb chops, fish and risotto.
Deserts were also special. Chocolate moons cake and tiramisu were terrific
Great food and service
Overall pleasant experience with great food and superb staff!
The food at Dolce was very good, although overpriced. Service was below average, she didn't pay very much attention to us at all. Atmosphere was not what we were looking for. Very busy area, horns honking, crowded with young groups, yelling, cursing, and innappropriatley dressed, while an older crowd tried to enjoy a nice meal and ambience. The loud, cursing, intoxicated people running between the tables into the hotel was such a distraction, we couldn't enjoy our meal. We would not return, mostly because of crowds and atmosphere. Would not recommend for a date or nice, quiet dinner.
Very good food!
Meh. It's ok. Not bad, but not great. Both food and service.
Food was delicious
The best Italian restaurant in south beach. We Keep coming here for 3 years and quality of food and service remains at the same high level. I highly recommend pizza and branzino.
Fantastic food and service! Highly recommend!!
We had dinner in the patio which is very pretty. Great location and service. Food was also very good. Had an excellent pasta dish!
consistently well prepared dishes makes one want to come more often.
What an amazing experience!! Our cocktails, salads, and entrees were fabulous. Service was amazing, Dejan took great care of us and made great drinks. We’ll definitely be back! Thanks!
Fantastic restaurant! Every dish we had was delicious!
Great wine list, great food and great atmosphere. Veal Milanese was amazing and the spaghetti and meatball!
Best Caprese salad! Heirloom tomatoes. Pasta with meatballs. Sauce pasta meatballs! As good as I have ever had. I sat at the bar. Bartenders were terrific - Anna and Omar. I wish this restaurant was in DC where I live. YOU HAVE TO EAT HERE!
Firstly I love the Gale Hotel in general. It was our 3rd or 4th time staying at the hotel for our annual trip to Miami for the first weekend in March. It’s cute, comfortable, every amenity you need is provided, and if you book early enough you can get a room at an incredible value.
It was our first time having dinner at Dolce, and our group of 6 was extremely satisfied. Our waitress was knowledgeable and charming, and the food & wine was 5 Star. We will be staying and dining here again for our next visit. Keep up the good work, Menin Group!
Great atmosphere and great food. Exceptional service. Loved it.
Friendly, attentive staff. Very good food! Wine menu is good and affordable. Good with or without kids. Recommend!
Had lunch here while visiting Miami
Service was great and food was perfect
Great food and service! They were also very accommodating to my wife’s dietary restrictions.
Dolce was recommended to us by a friend - we absolutely loved it and will definitely return! Food and service were delicious. We had the spaghetti and meatballs and the pasta bolognese.
We actually went back the next day for lunch and shared the vegetarian pizza and salad.
Good atmosphere and good service. Good food but not great Italian food.
Food was delicious and service was outstanding.
We were staying at the hotel and don't normally frequent hotel restaurant. But, this was a pleasant surprise. Excellent truffle mushroom ravioli. Good, friendly service...
We would recommend but they need to fix their music.
Eating a lovely Italian meal should not include listening to Blondie and other rock.
Music should be Sinatra, Dean Martin...old standards.
Their music choice killed the evening's ambiance.
Our reservation was easy to make, our request for outside was honoured and our server was very nice
BUT it was a long weekend and they were not prepared, after trying to order 3 different main items, which all turned out to be sold out...we left
We arrived before dinner service so we had drinks at the bar. The service and drinks were excellent. We were seated outside on the upper level at a great table. The weather was perfect. We split the fritto misto app, which was perfectly cooked and had a wonderful arrabbiata sauce. For our main course we had, TORTELLI AL TARTUFO - ricotta & spinach, montasio, leeks, preserved black truffles, and CAVATELLI ALLA BOLOGNESE -braised beef, veal, pork ragu. Both of these dishes were outstanding. The portions were generous and rich. Our server was friendly and responsive. He decanted our wine and paid attention to our wine glasses throughout dinner. The only downer for me was the added 18% tip, which I thought for a party of two was a bit tacky. We normally leave a 20% tip for good service and I would have left even more for this experience. I asked the server about this and he said it was corporate policy.
One of the best Caesar salads & the Spaghetti was authentic!
The Dinner was Very good
Overall the food was quite nice but I would not recommend because of the rushed service. The essence of the Italian meal is a slow social occasion. 3 of our 4 main courses arrived while we were still eating our appetisers. There was no acknowledgement or embarrassment from the servers. We felt rushed and had unwelcome and by the time we did start our pasta it was of course not as hot as intended.
Excellent service. Good food. Highly recommend.
Delish! Great ambiance.
Branzino was terrific. Pasta good as well. Wine nice but a bit pricey
First they did not have our reservation down on their books. But, I presented a confirmation and they then found us a table. This was my first time using open table, and showed up with no reservation showing. Then was not pleasant, but we finely made it work out for us.
