My wife and I were looking forward to dining at Dockside for New Year’s Eve but were somewhat disappointed in our experience. The ambiance was nice , our waitress was very friendly and likeable. Unfortunately though, service was very slow. We each ordered the 8oz filet with scallop potatoes. I ordered mine medium, my wife ordered medium-well. Both steaks were excellent cuts of meat, but were served cooked medium rare. Our potatoes were flavorful, but also very much undercooked. If not for the fact we had waited such a long time for our meal we would have requested additional cooking, but instead kept quiet and ate most of our dinner. For the price of dining at Dockside, it’s unfortunate the chef wasn’t attentive enough to prepare our meal as requested.
Great view of the full moon on New Year's Eve! Our server was extremely friendly and helpful in offering suggestions based off our questions. Pricing/value is equivalent to the Portland area. A must see in the summer!
The food at the Dockside is consistently good. The waitstaff is friendly. Nice place to eat, even in the winter months. Nice bar with Happy Hour.
Upscale new England find. Delicious cuisine and generous portions. Truly enjoyed the experience.
Four different food choices by our group and all were excellent! Lovely dining experience.
Delicious food served in an elegant yet comfortable setting.
really nice; our second time to take grandma out to dinner and it will be our regular spot i'm sure. Easy for her to access, good seafood, friendly service and not overpriced. I look forward to going in the summer so we can sit in side.
Uneventful, I had the yellowtail which was good but risotto was bland. My friend had shortrubs but they ran out of potatos at 7:00 and substituted with bland risotto. Service was good.
Good food, good dinner. However, I feel that for a $38 filet I would expect a center cut filet. And not an end cut with a side muscle. For the money we spent on dinner I would expect a higher quality product.
