Dockside Bistro & Wine Bar was established in 2007 by Chef Laurie Nguyen. In October 2023, the restaurant was purchased by Chef Zach Caraway and Jade Adams. With over 15 years of culinary experience and training, Chef Zach is dedicated to presenting the culinary traditions of the Pacific Northwest while infusing innovative and unique culinary creations. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh, daily ingredients and regularly updating its seasonal appetizers and entrees.

In addition to its exceptional cuisine, Dockside Bistro offers an extensive selection of wines from around the world. The establishment takes pride in introducing patrons to new and exciting wines, spanning from the old world to the new world. First rate food. First rate service. First rate location. Dockside is, and has been for years, a hidden gem in Olympia. If I were traveling in the area as a visitor, this is a restaurant to schedule around.

My wife’s favorite restaurant in Olympia. It was her birthday. The big 65.. Food and drinks fantastic. Service excellent. Thanks for a great dinner and early evening.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The food and drinks were superb and the service was outstanding! We’ll definitely be back for our next celebration.

This is a very nice restaurant and you won't be disappointed. They have a great wine selection and the servers are friendly and happy to guide you. The view from the dining room is extraordinary. If I were to discuss areas for improvement, I'd note that the portions are quite small while the prices are quite high. That said, I would recommend it.

Dockside is a very nice place to visit with friends and have dinner and drinks. Laurie and chefs created a very nice dinner. Will our server was phenomenal, very attentive, very pleasant and very respectful. We had an a great time. Thank you,
