Great good! Great service. Beautiful ambiance. Pianist was very good.
Beautiful design, excellent service,delicious food!
Food was exvellent
It was my first time at Dock's. We went with friends of ours for Restaurant week and had a fabulous meal and a great time. The food was delicious, our server was personable, and the atmosphere was great. Totally worth the ride! We will definitely be back!
We were sat on time. Food was excellent! Server Abraham rushed service! Joe’s Cheesecake was a real treat!
We went during restaurant week and took advantage of the price fixed menu. My salmon was outstanding. My wife had the flounder, which was kind of thin, but still good. The service was exceptional. We would return in the future.
Food was great. Very very very loud. There was a large table that was very rude in the dining room. One guy actually got up and started taking his shirt off to show all his tattoos.. just a very rude inconsiderate group. Someone from another table asked them to keep it down and it escalated from there. Shouting and I almost thought a fight was going to break out. Horrible that management did not do anything to control this group. Maybe they were scared too!
What a fabulous meal. Always a treat.
I hadn’t been to Doc’s since the renovations. It’s beautiful. The food was fabulous. We went for Restaurant Week. Looking forward to going back for Happy Hour.
Food was delicious. The service was excellent and valet parking lot next door was convenient.
Dock's is a wonderful place for happy hour before having dinner. They have live music most evenings and it lends itself to a great ambience.
Great food and service
The piano was a great touch the only downside is the tables are too close to each other
Restaurant week The wait was 45min with a reservation. Once seated eveything was great
The restaurant was a gem. It had great atmosphere and wonderful food if your a seafood lover. The staff was extremely friendly and only inhanced the experience.
Good food. We were there for restaurant week. Salad was skimpy and nondescript but everything else was great! Will be back!
Consistently fantastic as always. Great food. Great service. Great ambiance.
Doc's Oyster House is one of the best restaurants where we have eaten in the Atlantic city scene. From the valet parking to the piano bar (with top notch pianist) to the wait staff all were excellent. Then the food was exquisite. First the oysters were fabulous then we had three different dishes and all were mouth watering. We shared the various tastes and were blown away by the simplicity yet subtleness of the flavoring and moistness. Then the entire meal was topped by three choices for desert and they were great also. Will return again. Ps the wait staff has a unbelievable longevity record from 35 years working there down. All in all a wonderful unforgettable evening.
Great ambience. Felt a little rushed. But it was restaurant week, so it’s to be expected.
Can’t wait to return to just enjoy the bar and seafood tower.
Restaurant Week. Always a great choice!
Superb! My favorite! I’ve never had a bad meal at Dock’s.
The food was amazing especially the Salmon....and of course the cheese cake and key lime pie. The night was perfect love restaurant week....
Food and service were outstanding. We last dined at Dock’s prior to their renovations. Will, our waiter, took the time to explain the family background and renovation of Dock’s. Will was an awesome waiter. We will definitely return.
Best restaurant in Atlantic City. Went for restaurant week. Service is great. Food is outstanding. Although it is a seafood restaurant, my wife loves the filet mignon. The oysters are outstanding. Key lime pie sets the bar for others.
Had a lovely Restaurant Week dinner here again. The appetizer was the Asparagus and Crab soup...always delicious...smooth, creamy & full of flavor.
My Pecan Crusted Salmon came over sauteed spinach, mushrooms & apples drizzled with horseradish sauce...always a delectable dish.
Dessert was my favorite Key Lime Pie which was outstanding.
Attentive & professional service from start to finish. Love Dock's!
Classic seafooder in every way -- the wine list is awesomely good and extremely fairly priced. The pommes souffle are the best potato dish around.
Are server was excellent. The asparagus and crab soup was amazing. We had the crab cakes for our entree but was disappointed they had no flavor and crab shell pieces. Dessert was good.
Restaurant week in Atlantic City. We had an enjoyable meal. I had the special and it was enjoyable. My wife had regular menu items and enjoyed her meal. Overall a very nice meal and experience.
They had an excellent AC Restaurant Week menu for 2018 and the service was great as usual. I have dined at Doc's on several occasions, mostly business, and the food and service is consistently outstanding.
Outstanding! Four diners, four happy campers! Aspargus and crab soup was superb. Would go back just for this if it becomes a standard item. The pecan crusted salmon was the best salmon I've ever had. Will be going back for sure.
Excellent food. There’s a reason it’s been popular since 1897!
Had a great Restaurant Week dinner here again. Started with the always amazing Asparagus Crab soup. Smooth, creamy & delicious. Had the Potato Crusted Flounder. Was very tasty & came with asparagus. Dessert was the outstanding Key Lime Pie.
Overall, a very enjoyable experience. Dock's never disappoints.
Stumbled upon Restaurant Week AC 2018... great selections... reasonably priced wine list, delicious cocktails...
Cheese pie was so delectable we (i) ordered a second piece at the bar with my nightcap...
Daniel (server) and Dimitri (?) (bartender) were delightful :)
I’ve never had a subpar meal here...
The crab cakes and key lime pie are excellent. I really enjoyed the atmosphere at Docks, and I am looking forward to dining there again.
This is our second time visiting Docks and found it just as enjoyable as the first. My wife had the crab saute (again) and it was fantastic. I went off menu because they had a flounder special that sounded too good to resist. It was. I can safely say it was the best flounder I've ever eaten.
I'm certain we'll return and am looking forward to it.
Bartenders were awesome! Service was great! Food was spectacular!
Awesome food both the staples and the specials. Waitstaff is exemplary from bus boys (Oscar) to waiters (Will) to parking attendants (Chris) to hostess (Holly). We love Docks and it is our go to place for special occasions.
We attend an annual trade show in AC and every year look forward to visiting Dock's. This year I must sadly report that although the recent renovations have the place looking fabulous, the food has taken a bit of a nose-dive. One of my dinner companions had oysters & clams that he thought were very good but after that, nothing else was. The crab imperial stuffing in my lobster had a weird and unpleasant flavor so I had to actually push it aside. The stuffed flounder was bread-y and flavorless. Desserts were disappointing -- the apple crisp was sour and dry and the special banana caramel pie just tasted of sugar. Overall, its a beautiful place to eat and the bar area is lovely and vibrant; I think next time we go we'll stick to drinks & raw bar.
Liked the atmosphere. There for an early Saturday dinner. Had drinks at the bar. The cocktail waitress was a ditz and the reason for my less than 5 stars on service. I had the crab cakes, they are delicious. My husband had the filet which he said possibly in his top 3. It was a huge cut and he could not finish it (12 oz.). We also had some oysters on the half. The shucker at Dock's should get a raise. These were the most perfectly shucked (clean, no grit, no shell chips) oysters around. We had the Wellfleets, they were very very fresh. Perfect. Recommend for a special night.
I try to visit this restaurant anytime I visit AC. Never disappointed. They’ve remodeled since I was there last. They did a really nice job, lovely, open plan, really nice job! Food as always was amazing, we are five adults and two children and our party, and everyone was happy. Service was great! As usual would always go back!
I love DOCKS ...yes the lobster tai,l yes the steak ,yes the oysters and raw bar . People are friendly ; clientele upscale and interesting and of course the Piano Bar who can play "Oh Danny Boy the PIPES the PIPES ARE CALLING
