The service was great. Doug answered all of our questions and his oysters suggestions were awesome. We had the seafood risotto special and the halibut special . Both amazing! First time having risotto and I loved it. Definitely would recommend and definitely would go again.

Seated precisely at reservation time. Service was very very good - not rushed at all. My wife had some of their delicious oyster varieties. I chose the seafood risotto special. Plenty of scallops, shrimp and crab. Lobster sauce was flavorful - not at all heavy. This is our definite 'go to' place while in AC.

Not sure what else I can say about Dock's; just an excellent restaurant and dining experience. Some of the best flounder you'll ever find, anywhere. Corn & Crab Chowder is my favorite in the area. Oh, and have I mentioned oysters, including locals like Brigantine and Cape May Salts? Ummm, ummmm good.

Absolute most amazingly delicious sea scallops seared to perfection! Same for the corn and crab chowder, potatoes and my husband’s salmon. After dinner we moved to the bar area and enjoyed the pianist. We had a fabulous time but the food was orgasmic!

We dine at Docks once every couple months and always amazing. Not sure if there is new staff in the kitchen was last night was way off. Many shells in our oysters, tuna tartare was room temp and presentation of appetizer was not good. 2 out of my 5 scallops were burnt and mash potatos were stiff. My husband's halibut was great. Our server was great! Just hoping if it was because of a new staff, that they fix it!

The calamari appetizer and halibut special were outstanding, the shrimp cocktail was slightly over cooked while the seafood risotto was a soup and about 10 minutes undercooked

Every summer we go to Steve and Cookies. We are usually a large party and the service is never great, but we tend to think it’s because it’s a large party. Not an excuse, but we do love the food. This year we had just a small party of 4...myself, husband, and our two children. Our kids are excellent eaters and enjoy good food too, so we were happy to celebrate our 13 year wedding anniversary at Steve and Cookies. Our food was excellent. Lobster Mac and cheese was creamy and I love the hint of what I think is horseradish. The Caesar salad was good. The lettuce could have been colder, but it was so crisp! The dressing was excellent, but I wanted a tiny bit more...that’s good though right! The bartender made us the perfect drinks...martini and a Manhattan...just as we like them. Unfortunately, our server was terrible. I can’t even begin say how neglectful she was to serving our table. We had to go to the bar to get another drink. She forgot things. She never checked back and she had an awful personality. Not friendly at all and seemed in a bad mood. She spent more time at the hostess stand than she did anything else. Oh and we had to ask (manager?) for something we needed because she never checked back to ask how our food was. Everything else was so good, but this is what left us thinking our experience was terrible.

This was our first visit and we were very disappointed. Many people recommended Dock’s to us. I had the soft shell crab dinner special for $35. The crabs were so tiny and ver greasy. The asparagus it came with was very under cooked. My husband had a ribeye and he said it lacked flavor and was no big deal. Out check was $170. Ridiculous for what we were serves. Won’t go back!

Dock's is our favorite Atlantic City Restaurant. Though pricy, the food is fresh and outstanding, service is exceptional, our latest visit, we had Walter as our waiter. He was friendly, service with a smile and very good at recommending some of the entrees. The restaurant itself is a beautiful place even though our last trip Docks was packed, you couldn't move around so easily. would highly recommend Dock's to anyone who visits Atlantic City

Our group of five had fish and meat (Lamb chops) entrees. All ware excellent. Only slight failures were initial hesitation {Waiter - "I'll try, but the kitchen usually does not do that") over substituting out carbohydrates on one dish (I'm on diet) and it was finally done, and failure to offer ketchup with onion rings. Overall high quality food and preparation and fair pricing for what we had. It also seems that they have replaced the traditional oyster crackers [oyster nuts?] with a very inferior version - a saving of pennies of which we all took note!!!

Was disappointed. Made reservation a month ahead to celebrate a family birthday. Usually give this restaurant a 5 star review. However, we were seated upstairs in the banquet room (obviously had overbooked). It was hot and service was very slow. She was overwhelmed with tables or so I thought , until I went to the restroom and saw my waitress eating her dinner while we waited for our coffee and desserts. Which still came late and missing one coffee. When it was served the dessert silverware placed in a pile in the middle of the table and we got to choose a utensil. Waters were never refilled the entire time. Oyster crackers were crumbs when we were seated and we had to grab another off a table since our waitress never brought us a new one after we asked. Its usually a great restaurant but ONLY if you are seated downstairs. Seems like they overflow to tables upstairs and it’s definitely not the same experience.

Don’t order the lobster tail. It definitely had been in the freezer for too long, isn’t it supposed to be whit? especially at $55.00!! The lobster Mac and cheese is ridiculously overpriced, I don’t care how much lobster they say is in each order, we found three pieces only! The fried platter was great as were the oysters. Very disappointing this time around.
