Sadly this was our last meal as the restaurant is now closed. We have had 10 years of happy experiences at this restaurant and want to thank the staff (esp Katrina) for providing us with the best possible service even though the restaurant was two days away from closing.

This ever popular restaurant is shutting down and moving to the Jersey Shore probably driven out by the high rents rather than lack of patron support. Always an excellent oyster bar with a good selection of draft beers (none this closing week). Entrees are mixed with nothing outstanding but I would recommend the Sesame Ahi Tuna Tacos over fish n' chips where they do not have it quite right. Service was professional and unobtrusive (rare) but our waitress this evening was not like some of the oyster connoisseurs we have encountered there in the past. Sea Isle is too far to drive after work. This place will be missed.

What stood out? The 35 minute wait for a table past our reservation time, the broken draft system, the lack of any craft beer, the extremely loud group who was fighting to see who could yell louder, the cool, watered down crab soup or the cold seafood on my salad. Oh, and the wait staff basically ignoring us so they could tend to the large, loud group. I know a tip from a party of 20 is bigger than a party of two, but our wait for things was absurd. Yeah, all that stood out.

Took 30 minutes to get drinks. Took 90 minutes to get dinner. Had a reservation but got seated 20 minutes late, which I can understand. Found out 20 minutes before arriving that they were closing...seems like they stopped caring as soon as the news broke. Wow, just so awful. Some food was cold, others were obviously under lamps and far too hot to eat peal and eat shrimp for 15 minutes. Food was nothing special, peel-and-eat shrimp didn't taste like anything. Overall very disappointed and won't be going back to any location, ever.
