About DK Steak House
d.k Steak House is a local Hawaiian Regional steak house specializing in Dry-aged steaks. We are O‘ahu’s first Dry-Aging Room where we dry age on premise ---which imparts a sweeter, fuller, and more robust flavor as well as tenderizing the meat. We use only USDA high-grade beef- Vintage Natural which has NO hormones, NO antibiotics, NO steroids, the beef is all natural. Our double broiler grilling process ensures high-temperature cooking that seals in juices and enhances the natural flavor of the beef. We offer classic sides dishes, and at d.k Steak House we also offer a beautiful sunset view overlooking Waikiki beach.

DK Steak House Ratings and Reviews
Food was good, zero ambiance, cheap & cheesy decorating.
Best part was the wine list, decent wine and reasonably priced. No outdoor dining, this is Hawai‘i after all.
It was our anniversary and often “upper” restaurants offer something to commemorate your occasion. Nothing.
This restaurant was recommended to us by another traveler, we won’t be back and we will not recommend it,
Very nice restaurant but dress code is somewhat casual because that’s the way Hawaii is.. pretty laid back. The service was excellent. Our server Avis was on point with everything, checking in on us often, refilling our water and beverages; making sure we were happy with the meals. The food was also very very good. My husband had the Hoku menu which was pre fixe. Several choices for appetizer (pupu) , salad, soup, entree and dessert. He chose the prawn and polenta ravioli. So good with chunks of hand cut bacon. We both had the Cesar salads, also good and not drowning in dressing. My husband had the NY Strip with veggies and garlic mashed potatoes. Steak was really tender; potatoes creamy and light. I had the macadamia crusted mahi mahi with extra veggies. Fish was firm but flaky and delicious. They have a great view of Waikiki and also have outdoor seating for even better views. We were really pleased with our meals, service and ambiance. We picked a perfect place to have dinner our last night in Hawaii.
I was leery of trying a new restaurant, because last year I did that and the meal was not anything like I expected for the price. I am extremely glad I tried D.K.'s our server Matt was wonderful and the meal was outstanding, nice portions for the price. We will be back again.
After reading such great reviews, I chose this restaurant for our anniversary dinner. POOR choice! My steak was edible and cooked right, but it was sitting in a pool of sauce, which was used (in my humble opinion) to add flavor to the steak, which didn't have much flavor without it. BUT, I specifically chose steak without a sauce as I didn't want the carbs. My husband's steak was undercooked, and full of fat (not nice marbling) and gristle. Our waiter apologized, but that was it. My husband said he didn't want it taken off the bill, but that it was the worst steak he's ever had. No one, other than our waiter came over to say anything, and no one, including the server, offered a replacement steak or something as compensation. We will never eat there again!
Our expectation for a steakhouse experience simply weren’t met. The ambience is not good—limited view even though it is in a prime location, entrance is shared with another restaurant, back of house is covered with cheap materials and little valances try to hide the view. The food was very good but our service was extremely slow even when compared to others arriving after us. And the price tag was more than a similar meal at Ruth’s Chris. We won’t be back.
Outstanding service, food quality and quantity. Waiter was very professional and knew the menu and made great recommendations. I would rate this one of the best dining experiences we have had in quite a while. It was so good we made reservations for the next night while we were eating.
