Excellent cocktails & wine. Shrimp cocktail & French onion soup all excellent. The chicken was overcooked (chicken Caesar salad) Cobb salad so so.
The waiter was great. Personable and knowledgeable. The food was just ok
We were very disappointed that we were sitting in the lobby of the hotel basically while eating what we thought was going to be a nice quiet, romantic dinner.
I’m shocked to say it was the best steak I have ever ate. I’ve been to world class establishments all over the world and I had my best steak ever at DJT
My wife and I were celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary. We selected DJT because we were staying in the Trump Tower. Food was excellent. I had the skirt steak and she had the fish and chips. Service was excellent.
We stayed at the trump hotel, just amazing place. You can choose to eat in the lobby restaurant or inside, be sure to specify. I had a strip steak and the husband hand lamb. The cocktails are also fab. We hit a show, so it was a nice place to eat early and head out. You can dress up or wear jeans. Anything goes in Vegas. But id say it’s more casual.
The food was good, the location honestly not so good.
Food was not very good, especially considering the price. Steak was prepared to the wrong temperature than ordered. Ambiance of restaurant is not very good, it is in the main lobby. There is no sort of dividers or anything like that. Food was lackluster.
We stayed at the Trump Hotel and decided to dine here for my husband's birthday. Our food was prepared perfectly. The service was excellent. Kimberly could not have done a better job taking care of us.
Although I can understand other diners not liking the restaurant located openly to the lobby, it is still far better than dining to the sounds of slot machines and gambling. Not to mention walking out to the smell of cigarettes at other hotels. My husband and I don't smoke or drink so we very much appreciated the clean and elegant environment of the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas.
Our waiter, Joe was by far the best waiter we had in Vegas. Food was really good. We were late for our reservation but they were able to work us in. Great bartender. Made the best Martinis! Everything was perfect.
For the price of the food I am expecting much better.
The $24 burger was a bun, cheese, jam chutney and a thin patty. Fries were cool however they did replace immediately on advising.
Had beef dip sandwich on previous night and meet was salty and sandwich was lacking in flavor and dry. Have not ordered entree....all over $32-$80 and am somewhat hesitant based on the value/ flavor of their handheld menu.
Breakfasts have been hi light here.
We went there to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary. I was disappointed from the minute we walked in that we were actually dining in the lobby!!! I asked the manager to seat us inside. He graciously moved us to a booth that looked like it hadn’t been used in 10 years!!! We were not isolated completely from the rest of the world since they seated us in a part of the restaurant that is not used frequently. The food was ok, but i expected a lot more from a Vegas venue. I expected even more from a Trump facility. I booked s stay at the Trump towers in Chicago for next month, but after this experience, I may cancel this reservation and book somewhere else. Love Mh President, but this is s 2 thumbs down for me!
The steaks were fantastic. We also had the charted octopus and some signature cocktails. Great service and a nice quiet dining experience. Thanks DJT!
The service was outstanding. The food was delicious. All of us had steaks and they were nice and tender. I highly recommend it.
We celebrated my 46th birthday at this restaurant. It was amazing!
I absolutely love everything about this restaurant. Whenever I visit Las Vegas, I make sure I go get a meal there at least once!
We were simply thinking of a lovely dining experience which for us wasn't sitting in a lobby dining room without table cloths. Despite the lack of ambiance, the food and service was excellent. IF we were looking for fine dining in Las Vegas again, we'd likely try someplace else.
I would like President Donald Trump to know that his great employees at the Trump hotel in Vegas treated me and my wife like a million bucks! The team was informative, polite and curtious. Ashley was our waitress and even asked my wife if she did not like the chicken dinner. My wife has to eat slow but just knowing that if there was an issue with a meal Ashley was going to make sure we were happy. Valet attendents were also great. Thank you Trump hotel team. We definitely will be making it back there again soon.
Food and service were outstanding. Great wings and sandwiches!
The overall experience doesn’t justify the expense. The food was good, but not outstanding, as would be expected for the price. The staff were polite but aloof. Service slow, despite only three parties of two when we arrived at the beginning of the lunch service. I would not go again.
Even though Secret Service and 1/2 of Metro were there, we were treated like VIPs. Can't say enough good things about the staff.
Excellent staff, no pressure or hurrying. We were able to have our meeting comfortably
and with little interruption.
Awesome food. Awesome service. Fancy but not too expensive
Food was amazing! Quiet classy atmosphere. We enjoyed our dinner at DJT!!
Wonderful meal in a very adult setting. No cigarette smoke, no casino noise. Elegant setting and service staff was excellent.
Ordered starters which were nice but main came out as we just finished starters. The mains not good. Pea risotto no seasoning/taste and steak and frites tasteless and not fresh. Explained this to the waiter no help.
The hotel is impeccable. This restaurant needs an overhaul. Food is serviceable at best. Really disappointing.
The Wagyu beef was amazing and my husband had the rib-eye was super tender. Server was nice, but tried to up-sell more food than I wanted.
Would highly recommend it for food quality.
Really an outstanding meal, with fabulous, attentive service. All three of us really enjoyed our dishes.
The restaurant was basically an extension of the hotel lobby, very pricey and food was good but not exceptional. We were very disappointed.
Very expensive. Ambiance was less than overwhelming. Service was very good but overall value was lacking.
Great place, HUGE shrimp in shrimp cocktail, very special bone-in filet mignon was WONDERFUL. Our first stay at the Trump hotel and I was totally impressed. Dining room was very elegant, great service and very friendly personnel. Had a great lunch on Sunday. Kudos in all areas.
Wonderful food and service! An enjoyable dining experience!
Forgot the name of our waiter but he was great! Checked up on us frequently, we appreciated that. Being 23 I have had bad service at some upscale restaurants but this wasn’t the case. Very impressed with the atmosphere, staff and food quality. Will definitely be coming back!
The experience started with a young hostess that projected an apothetic attitude. I felt like we were having dinner in the hotel lobby. We had to ask a water boy to find our waiter to place an order. I ordered the chocked Cesar salad and the chicken was tough, dry and absolutely over cooked. They did cook another piece of chicken at my request. We were very disappointed with the whole experience.
Food was good, service excellent. I don’t like that restaurant is part of the lobby. This is best suited for a business lunch. I may stay at this hotel sometime since it is nice and quiet with no casino. Also, right across the street from Fashion Show Mall.
This place is oddly situated as part of the open lobby, separated from the main lobby by some hangings and some stringy lights. It's noisier than one would think, especially if the bar area which is also open to the dining area, is occupied by loud patrons. The food was OK. They don't have small appetizer salads on the menu-only dinner salads, but they are happy to make one for you if you ask. Small salad price is reasonable. The Caesar salad is more like a chopped salad than a true Caesar. The chef decided to "improve" on the traditional Chippino by turning the broth into a cream sauce. Not my favorite, but interestingly different. Also, the addition of charred octopus was bizarre. I like octopus, but why would one want it charred? It seemed as if they weren't quite sure how to operate a restaurant. The interactions with the wait staff were pleasant, but seemed confused. The principal waiter did check frequently to see if everything was OK. Not a bad place, but something about it just wasn't right.
The servers were very good as far as at tentative, however the wait was at the mercy of the ONE bartender on duty. Although he made a very good drink, he was slow in that he was overwhelmed.
The food and service was mediocre. The staff did what was expected of them, but lacking in warm and grace. We ordered a large porterhouse steak for two, but when it was served the server never offered to cut it up for us as is customary when ordering a steak for two. Despite not being busy at all, it was difficult to flag a server for something as simple as a water refill or even the check. Also, the noise level needs to be controlled better. Even with over half the tables empty, the restaurant was quite loud. Smaller tables would be helpful as that would allow patrons to sit closer to one another without having to yell to hear one another.
Disappointed that we got set in a hotel lobby... Instead of in the actual restaurant. We had a wonderful experience with them in the past, this time was a let down
