DJ's Steakhouse-Jumers Casino and Hotel
Dinner: Tuesday - Thursday: 5:00pm - 9:00pm, Friday & Saturday: 5:00pm - 10:00pm
This was my family's first time here. We will definitely be back. Hands down one of the best steaks I've had. Servers were fast and friendly. We recieved our food quick and our drinks never got low. All around a great place and worth the money.
DJ's consistently delivers excellent food and service. Our server, Katie, worked hard to make sure the meal was memorable.
The ribeye I ordered was a very uniform cut so it was cooked evenly and the way I had ordered it. In the past they were very uneven cut and most of the time parts of it was overdone. The lobster tail is always excellent, but it is rather small. My wife has filet when we come. She has always had a very good piece of meat and prepared to her satisfaction. She also enjoyed the Blackberry Salad.
A little over priced for quality of steaks served. They were good, but not that good for the price. Waitress was great, ambiance was good, just a bit over priced.
Best steak in town. The ribs are very good too. They fall right off the bone. Bon Appetit!
The waitresses need a different shirt. The were dingy and they need to be ironed. The rolled up sleeves look tacky. Food was good, cheesecake was amazing.
Excellent Food and service at a very goog price in a quite and well done setting. Always working to make sure you have a very good time. Steaks are GREAT.
The food was excellent and the service was great we really enjoyed it
The only negative was that the table of 4 close by us were very loud in their conversation and I felt like I was having dinner with that table as well. They were obviously regular visitors to the restaurant as they were known to the staff. They were somewhat elderly so perhaps hearing was an issue, but several times I had to repeat my conversation to my spouse as our conversation was over ridden by theirs. Food was outstanding and staff was very attentive.
Great steaks. Friendly staff.
We always enjoy eating at DJ’s. Food and service is always very good.
One of my favoite places to eat. Arrived early for my reservation and enjoyed a ciupke of drinks and conversation at the bar. The ambiance is second to none for the upscale restaurants in the Quad Cities. The service was very good, like usual, as was the food. My favorite place to treat myself and guest.
Was a bit disappointed in the filet. We had eaten at DJs on previous visit and steaks were exceptional. Wasn't that tasty this visit. Our waitress didn't mention any special food or drinks. Overheard another waitress telling her table of several drink specials.
It was an amazing night. The food was great and the ambiance was great.
Servnotice was very slow. Steak was not what I would have expected for a tenderloin and was not as tender as other restaurants. Will give it one more try and hope things improve.
I truly enjoy the food and service. I also enjoy dining here when in town.
Very, very slow. Never asked if we wanted more bread or water. Our reservation time was 9:00 so they were not busy. Waitresses were more concerned about getting tables torn known and reset than the customers.
The food is excellent!! All of us had the ribeye steak. It was seasoned perfectly and very tender. The stuffed baked potatoe was awesome too!! We had a great cocktail called the Dirty Shirley. (We’ll definitely have it again) Expect to pay $100-$150 per couple.
My husband and I both ordered the Coulotte steak and we shared mushrooms and asparagus. As always, the steaks were delicious. The Coulotte steak is from the sirloin, but it's a cut I've never heard of outside of DJ's.
Our server was Treah, the second time she's waited on us. The service was attentive without being 'in your face.'
This is a great place to dine to either celebrate your casino winnings or to 'lick your wounds.'
The food was awesome. The shrimp and steak were exceptional!
About the 20th time we had dinner here. Always get the full pound of slit crab legs. No other restaurants t seems to split them anymore. Good value for $48 for pound, although this time my pound seemed "light" and less than usual but with no scale I had to trust them that it was a FULL pound. Enjoyed them though and they have great risotto which I always get as a side dish. Nice quiet get-a-way from noise of casino. Service could be quicker. Not enough wait staff lately and hostess stand not usually attended so you wait for someone to notice you and seat you, even though you have reservations. All in all though pleasant fine dining.
This was our first time dinning here and we were pleased with the ambiance, service and food. We will definitely dine there again.
The flavor of the steak was very good, but the rib eye was super tough and grizzly. The prices were very high for the quality of the steak. Service was good and the decor was nice but I would say it is not worth the price.
We have frequented DJs for many years now. It's always been a favorite and something we look forward to when at the casino. However, the last few times we have been there, something is off. The quality of the food is not what it used to be. My husband always orders the ribeye and its always been the best. The last two times, it was very fatty and even rubbery. He barely ate any of it on the last visit. Even my blue cheese dressing on the wedge salad seemed tart and unbalanced. Could there be a new chef?
Like usual, the ambiance, food and service were excellent.
The pork was great but was not even warm. The steak was cooked just right but was not tender (for $39 the steak should have been awesome). The salmon was excellent. The house wine was overpriced at $9 a glass. Great service and nice ambiance. A pleasant escape from the casino noise!
The good was good.
We ordered New York strip and Fillet..... they were very salty. Best steak house around doesn't compare to my local worst steak house around. The salad was not a salad in any restaurant I have ever been too. Two slices of lettuce head about 1 inch each with dressing and bacon bits on top. Really?? I wanted mashed potatoes but got this gluey yellow mess with onion greens, potato skin, and other unidentifiable flavors in it. I sent it back and said I wanted mashed potatoes, that is, apparently, how they serve them... it should have stated that on the menu. She then brought me out a baked potato which was there from several days ago(?) it tasted old. Other than that - it was very disappointing. No veggies on the menu or plate. Next time we'll try the buffet - we will probably enjoy it better.
My steak was good. My wife’s fish was overdone and cold. Our reservation was for 7:00 p.m., the restaurant had us down for 9:00 p.m. but we were still seated promptly. Perhaps there was a glitch between Open Table and the restaurant.
STEAK WAS WAY OVER COOKED ! 2ND TIME THERE AND TOLD WAITRESS WE DIDN'T WANT THE FILETS BUTTERFLY CUT BECAUSE THE FIRST TIME WE WERE THERE , THEY WERE OVER COOKED BUT WE DIDN'T WANT TO COMPLAIN. WE ORDER MEDIUM WELL WITH THE UNDERSTANDING WE WANTED PINK IN THE MIDDLE -- AGAIN THE STEAKS WERE BUTTERFLY CUT AND WAY WAY OVERCOOKED ! THE CRAB LEGS WERE COLD !
WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN - THE PRICE IS OUTRAGEOUS FOR TERRIBLE FOOD .
(EXCEPT THE MASHED POTATOES - THOSE ARE FANTASTIC- BUT THEY WERE ALSO ON THE COOL SIDE THIS TIME )
Very friendly and a very nice selection in their menu.
The food was absolutely delicious! And the atmosphere and seating was very peaceful and comfortable. We would highly recommend it for a superb steak!!!
Not happy with our meal. Steak was to salty
Baked potato wouldn't even melt butter. I set my drink glass out to the side to get another and the entire time she didnt ask if i would like another. She took our water decanter and didnt bring us more. We had to ask the other waitress to get us more water. THIS WAS OUR 31st Wedding Anniversary WONT RECOMMEND GOING TO DJs. They gave us a piece of cake and it tasted like it had been setting in the fridge for awhile
Service was poor. Our waitress was not
Doing her job for and food not up to par.
Took advantage of Restaurant Week special — it was delicious!
Our food was very good, although we never got any rolls and butter . Steak was very tender, had excellent taste !! Salmon was also excellent !! Our guests with us experienced a problem with her water glass, was dirty. Service was slow, but manager was very helpful. WE will definitely try it again (alone, as a couple ). Also, coffee was wonderful !!
My wife and I both ordered the Salmon and it was cooked to perfection. The sides were very good and the service was excellent! Would recommend this steak house to all!
I eat at DJ's at least twice a month and service and food are always excellent. Lately they have started to offer 2 or 3 features a month which is a nice to change to their regular menu. The feature this visit was shrimp and gnocchi which was fantastic and very unique. I wish it was a part of the regular menu or they bring this feature back again.
What a pleasant surprise!
My husband and I drove from the Fox Valley-area to Jumer's yesterday for a spur-of-the-moment getaway. We booked a room and made a reservation at DJ's via Open Table.
We were seated promptly by very friendly staff. The restaurant was well-appointed, cozy booths lined the room and it was a warm, comfortable atmosphere.
After our server described the 14-ounce Coulotte Sirloin, we both ordered it (rare and medium-rare) along with grilled asparagus and sauteed mushrooms to share. We also ordered a bottle of 19 Crimes Zinfandel.
The wine was very good but the food was excellent!
I knew going into it that I'd never be able to eat all the steak, but my husband finished his, declaring it "fantastic", and I have lunch for a couple days.
The service was attentive without being intrusive, wine glasses were refilled appropriately and we left well wined and dined.
We will definitely return.
The food was only mediocre in comparison to the cost.
We went here for Valentines Day. Good selection of wines. I had risotto with scallops. It was a huge portion. Then to start I had butternut squash soup . All really good. My husband had their ribeye with the Caesar salad. This was very good he said. Our waitress was very attentive. We have eaten here once a year probably since it opened. Good place for fine dining.
