DJ's Steakhouse-Jumers Casino and Hotel Ratings and Reviews
drinks are a little higher than I like. If you gamble you should get cheaper prices. we all had steaks that were good. My wife ordered med well and I ordered medium fillet. Mine was great my wifes a little too done. Bill was $150 for 3 people and I was the only one with a drink and it was a beer. $5.50 for a mich ultra is a stretch.
It took 20 minutes for our waitress to take our order and we were seated immediately at 5pm. Service was slow and all wait staff stood behind the bar caring on loud conversations during service. Female Bartender very loud and boisterous . Have eaten there over the years, owners or management must have changed. We paid $9 for a Cesar salad that was half the size of what we use to have and no longer made the Parmesan basket for the salad.
We have eaten there several times in the last few months. The food is amazing. I have tried all their steaks & everyone of their cuts are delicious. The last filet I got there you could actually cut it with a fork. We have taken several people there recently and all of them have raved about their meal. I will be returning shortly. I might add all the steaks have been cooked to perfection
Extremely pricey. We had a two for one coupon and the bill with tip was still $130.00. That was with just two glasses of wine. I've had better New York strips for $25.00. These were $43.00. Our waitress was wearing a temporary badge. She was confused most of the time and very slow. Not what you would expect at a restaurant with those prices. I just couldn't imagine paying $260 for that meal.
The prices were pretty high for the amount of food. Service was not very good. There was quite a wait just for bread to be served. We went right when they opened and they didn't even have any ready for a long time. Our waitress wasn't very attentive. I couldn't even get a straw. I asked twice and my husband had to go to the bar and get it himself. She wasn't really very friendly. The food was good but not an enjoyable experience like we expected. We were kind of anxious to leave and get it over with. Not our usual expectation of a nice dinner.
We had the Oysters Rockefeller, which was kind of a disappointment, especially for the price. We have had it in 4 different restaurants now, and this was our least favorite. Our steaks were great. I had the add-on of shrimp, which was good, but not 2 pieces for $8 good. I do like that they made the menu a la carte, so if the whole meal was too much food, you can order only what you want. The service was great.
Our meal was $150 and we didn't even get sides. I wouldn't complain about that if the meal was amazing, but it wasn't. We ordered 2 beers (husband) and a Snickers martini; the Boursin cheese stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer, which was okay; a ribeye (husband); and king crab legs. My husband's ribeye was good, but nothing spectacular. My king crab legs were $38 and they weren't bad, but they were dry and cold. You'd think if you were paying $38 for something, it would be amazing. We didn't order much, as you can see, and paid $150 (with tip), so we will not be going back. This is the second time we have been here, but the first time was when the casino was still on the river in Rock Island, and it wasn't worth the price then either. I really wish there were better restaurants around here that were worth the money!
We had a party of 10 and were given a waitress that had only been there 3 days. She couldn't answer questions on the food. Have tried the seafood on more than one occasion and never good. Lukewarm and bland. Chairs uncomfortable. Wait staff dis-interested in making the dining experience memorable. Menu too limited.
