We enjoyed this dinner tremendously. The food was great and service was good especially as busy as they were. Danelle did a great job serving us with drinks and our meals.
Waitress came to the table one time. It was terrible. Waited for months to finally have a night out and it wS spoiled by bad service
Prime rib was perfect a great meal and our server did a fabulous job we enjoyed everything
Great steak & baked potato!
The salmon in the salad was very Hard
Celebrate my birthday with a special dinner!
The food was good and waitress staff was friendly and courteous. Very clean and comfortable.
Truffle fries were a little salty other than that steaks we ordered were fantastic
The food and wine have almost doubled in price since the last time we visited. Understandable due to COVID, but the quality of food has gone drastically downhill. The steak and the sides were bland and didn’t include the flair that it used to have. It used to be our favorite place. Not anymore unfortunately. The ambiance sucks since it’s now missing a wall that opens to the Casino. It used to be a romantic, quiet setting. Not so much anymore. The place has gone downhill since reopening. We will not be visiting anymore.
Too expensive. Chicken overcooked and hot vegetables were raw.
We had a wonderful time at DJs. We were celebrating and we’re so pleased. The service was perfect - very attentive. Food was delicious. We will be back.
I had the 6 oz filetwith mushrooms and onions and mashed potatoes and it was one of the best steaks that I've had at D j's in a long long time
Food not good, over priced. Waitress friendly bur under staffed
Our anniversary. Which we put on the reservation but not sure why they asked as no one mentioned it and
Nothing special was done. Disappointing. Our 35th anniversary celebration. Food was good but
Pricey. Nice waitstaff. Didn’t use to be a family venue and I didn’t realize that had changed- couple groups with loud kids…and kids messing around. Not the romantic place it once was..
Hadn’t been here in years. Excellent drinks and food. Well~timed service and very responsive. Will definitely go again soon.
We had steaks which were cooked perfectly and tasted wonderful. The service was excellent. The environment was nice but not elegant. One end of the steak house is open and you can see into the casino.
A once high quality restaurant, worth the price, has become no where near a value any longer
My husband and I have been dining at DJ's for several years now and this has been by far our worst experience. They are understaffed (not their faults but service was SLOW). Prices have gone up - I ordered a $60 ribeye thinking that they upped their menu with good quality steaks - WRONG. My steak was the size of a local grocery store ribeye (that I could have bought 4 of for $60). It was mostly fat and chewy, and was presented on a layer of what I'm guessing was an A-1 & Barbecue sauce combination. Note to DJ's: if you're serving a good quality steak, you don't need weird sauce!!!! It was just NOT good. I paid for a baked potato (ala carte). It was the only decent thing about my meal except for the glob of what I can only guess was cheap margarine in a side container. My husband ordered the special which was pine nuts and raisins wrapped in a thin steak with a weird brownish-grey looking sauce. He actually said it was so-so. Since they remodeled, you have to look at the casino floor - zero ambience. We had dinner at Keller's at Isle the night before. The quality of food and experience was much better. For that matter there are dozens of better options in the Quad Cities. So disappointed in this place that we used to love.
Waiter didn’t give us the specials and check on our food.Shrimp Cocktail was hard . Onion soup with was water down with very little onions. Salmon was excellent and so was the airline chicken. Was told I couldn’t substitute veg for anything. This is three times in two months in this restaurant will not return. Coffee shop restaurant in casino has better food and nice waiters.
Steaks were not cooked as desired. Was served my whole meal on 2 individual bread plates. Dessert way over priced. Called it Strawberry Shortcake but was a cake with strawberry drizzle. Did not celebrate my girlfriend's birthday as requested when I booked reservation.
It was very tasty, served like I ask for it. Also didn't have to wait overly long for it.
Good food and service. Entrees were served after quite a wait. The menu is rather limited—it used to be more extensive.
We are excited DJ Strakhouse is back opened. The food is always great!
Just amazing food. Our server was attentive without being annoying. Quite, clean, fun and so good. We will be back.
I don’t have anything good to say at all about the whole experience
Food was very poor for à la cart restaurant with high prices. We have been to this restaurant before but since we’ve been there last they’ve remodeled and it is now very casual not elegant and fancy like an expensive restaurant usually is. I was excited to have French onion soup which turned out to be canned beef broth with a few onions and “crunchy”croutons literally thrown in the soup and what appeared to be two slices of Kraft cheese not even covering the bowl, not put under a broiler like French onion soup is supposed to be. Overall the food was was bad to many issues with every course that we ordered too many to write in a short review. Horrible experience!
Had a filet medium and it was prepared perfectly and melted in my mouth. Salad was excellent as was the soup. No room for dessert. Service was perfect. Made for a great night.
We always enjoy DJ's. Our server, Danelle (sp?) was the best! Food was great, so was the wine and dessert!
Usually everything is excellent. The fries were cold and soggy. They offered to replace them, but, it took about 45 minutes from time ordering until delivered... didn't want to wait any longer.
We went to DJ's for our anniversary dinner. The drinks and appetizers were good (expensive, but good). We both ordered steaks medium rare, when they arrived they were WELL done. I was starving and ate mine, but my wife did not finish her steak. They did take hers off the bill, but if you are going to charge $40.00 for a steak it should be cooked properly!
Food and service were good as usual. We really our nights out at DJ's Steakhouse. You can't go wrong when dining at DJ's.
Can't go wrong. Food was good, service was good and pleasant atmosphere. We will be back.
Food was excellent. Service was a little slow due to it being very busy on a Wednesday and they were short staffed. They gave excellent service even with being so busy. We left happy.
Like trying to eat a nice dinner on the gaming floor. The buffet (when open) is more secluded from the gaming. Hair in the Wedge Salad took the appetite from one in our party. Otherwise the food was good. Staff was very apologetic and gave the 3 of us still eating a free dessert. After all was said and done we were able to get the entire meal comped. We’ll give DJ’s another try in the future. A yes or no recommendation to friends is on hold until we try it again.
She ordered the filet and I ordered the salmon and both entrees were delicious. Our server was great and attentive. If we had any complaints it would be about the bread, not a lot of flavor for sourdough and was a little tough, all else was great.
My steak needed seasoning it otherwise it was good!
Good was very good, especially for a casino.
My bacon burger was delicious as was the steak. great food just wish they had a broader menu.
An excellent dining experience. The server was swamped but still was very courteous throughout the meal!
