Food was very poor for à la cart restaurant with high prices. We have been to this restaurant before but since we’ve been there last they’ve remodeled and it is now very casual not elegant and fancy like an expensive restaurant usually is. I was excited to have French onion soup which turned out to be canned beef broth with a few onions and “crunchy”croutons literally thrown in the soup and what appeared to be two slices of Kraft cheese not even covering the bowl, not put under a broiler like French onion soup is supposed to be. Overall the food was was bad to many issues with every course that we ordered too many to write in a short review. Horrible experience!
Had a filet medium and it was prepared perfectly and melted in my mouth. Salad was excellent as was the soup. No room for dessert. Service was perfect. Made for a great night.
We always enjoy DJ's. Our server, Danelle (sp?) was the best! Food was great, so was the wine and dessert!
Usually everything is excellent. The fries were cold and soggy. They offered to replace them, but, it took about 45 minutes from time ordering until delivered... didn't want to wait any longer.
We went to DJ's for our anniversary dinner. The drinks and appetizers were good (expensive, but good). We both ordered steaks medium rare, when they arrived they were WELL done. I was starving and ate mine, but my wife did not finish her steak. They did take hers off the bill, but if you are going to charge $40.00 for a steak it should be cooked properly!
Food and service were good as usual. We really our nights out at DJ's Steakhouse. You can't go wrong when dining at DJ's.
Can't go wrong. Food was good, service was good and pleasant atmosphere. We will be back.
Food was excellent. Service was a little slow due to it being very busy on a Wednesday and they were short staffed. They gave excellent service even with being so busy. We left happy.
Like trying to eat a nice dinner on the gaming floor. The buffet (when open) is more secluded from the gaming. Hair in the Wedge Salad took the appetite from one in our party. Otherwise the food was good. Staff was very apologetic and gave the 3 of us still eating a free dessert. After all was said and done we were able to get the entire meal comped. We’ll give DJ’s another try in the future. A yes or no recommendation to friends is on hold until we try it again.
She ordered the filet and I ordered the salmon and both entrees were delicious. Our server was great and attentive. If we had any complaints it would be about the bread, not a lot of flavor for sourdough and was a little tough, all else was great.
My steak needed seasoning it otherwise it was good!
Good was very good, especially for a casino.
My bacon burger was delicious as was the steak. great food just wish they had a broader menu.
An excellent dining experience. The server was swamped but still was very courteous throughout the meal!
Not much of a selection on menu for me. Husband really enjoyed his $60 ribeye luckily we had a discount. Kind of pricey. Nice atmosphere and staff was great.
We had an excellent meal. And our service was great. Was easy to get a reservation online.
We decided to go on a Saturday nite with reservations at 6p and ready to eat. I ordered a strip steak and he ordered the bacon burger. Both meals were great and the beef was outstanding (both the steak and the burger). We will definitely return.
The steak was dry and flavorless/chewy. The salad was awful. The baked potato was only warm ( the butter would not melt on the potato). The only good part of the meal was the soup and the waitress. Oh also the bread was good. All in all a very very disappointing meal. We will not be returning. The service by our waitress was good.
Waited 15 minutes to get seated when the place was almost empty, even though we had a reservation. Server was nice, but food is overpriced for the value. We ordered 3 steaks, all came out gray inside as if the chef forgot them on the grill. Save yourself the time and go to jonnys italian steakhouse in Moline.
Our server didn’t check on us or refill our drinks. One of the dinners we ordered was extremely over salted. However we did enjoy the temperature of our meats and the restaurant was clean.
We had a wonderful meal at Jumer’s! It’s right off the casino floor and some people think that’s a negative but I think it’s unique and fun. I like the casino atmosphere. My boyfriend and I shared an 18 ounce ribeye and all the trimmings. We’ll be back!
Wait staff was top notch, friendly and fast. The soup and salad were great. The green beans were over cooked and the steak was good, but not worth the $60.00 price.
Great selection of choices. Server was great but it took a while for us to be acknowkedged by stuff. Overall, very satisfied.
The atmosphere is boring and the quality was subpar at best. I was very excited for a steak and the quality was lacking. Our server did the absolutely best she could, but I think she was literally bartending, serving, and cooking. Will not return.
They did a special dessert for the birthday celebration we were there for. So nice. Our server could not be as attentive because there were only two servers and the place was so busy. We knew the slow service was not her fault. We were dumbfounded at the almost 45 minute wait for our meal.
One of the baked potatoes were bad on the inside. Our server tried to convince us that it was the “eye” of the potato. Whatever. One of our drinks had two fruit flies floating around. The drink was replaced immediately. They should have comped us for one.
Overall the experience earned all stars. Just a few glitches.
Took almost an hour for a cheeseburger. Food was ok. Fries were cold. Glad my casino comps covered most of it.
The menu at DJ’s is varied enough to appeal to many different tastes. The food, itself is exceptional, but the venu leaves a lot to be desired. I feel an enclosed seating area is more in line with an upscale steak house. Although I enjoy the casino atmosphere, my preference is to leave it when dining.
Great quality food
The food was just ok. I had the pork chop and it was a good size chop but was a little overdone. Veggies were well cooked. My wife had the Airline Chicken. The chicken was tough, the sauce was bland, and the veggies were burnt. The server was polite but slow. The best part of the meal was the salad.
FOOD WAY TO SALTY AND I LIKE SALT, CHOICES ON MENU TO AVANTE GUARDE
BURGER WAS OKAY BUT NOT FOR $20 .............. THE RESTAURANT IS PRETTY, THEY HAD A MAN ON A GUITAR PLAYING MUSIC WHICH WAS NICE.........CHEF NEEDS TO RECREATE THE MENU WITH LESS "SPECIAL SAUCES"! COULDN'T EAT MY FRENCH ONION SOUP IT WAS SO SALTY........TO BAD ONE OF MY FAVORITES........SORRY FOR THE BAD REVIEW BUT I WOULD LIKE YOU TO STAY OPEN...........MIDWEST LIKES THEIR STEAK AND SEAFOOD AND FISH BUT RASPBERRY ON SALMON.........THAT IS A BIG OLD NO ALSO FORGOT............FRENCH FRIES WERE NOT EDIBLE WITH ALL THAT SALTY PARM CHEESE AND GUYERE............PLAIN WOULD HAVE BEEN FINE
So happy they are open again. Wonderful as usual. The music was a nice touch.
Had a nice relaxing dinner. Thank you. Our service was efficient and friendly..
The open concept ruins the experience of fine dining. Great food and service but paying top dollar to hear the noise from the casino and having slot players watch you eat does not make it fine dining.
Seating was slow. Service was slow, but waitress was nice.
We missed D.J. ‘s during the pandemic. So happy it is open once again. Looking forward to many more dinners there in the future.
Excellent service and the best steak we get anywhere.
Jumer's was the last casino we visited before Covid hit (Feb. 2019) and the 1st we visited after getting our vaccines. We love DJs and was so happy to see it open. Highly recommend you try it.
food and service good, but items are a little high.
Thank you for returning to your previous dining options. Much better food. Also we do miss the quietness and relaxing seating that was in place before the room was open to the casino.
Great place to grab a good meal. A little too open to the Casino for our preference, but the food was good.
