We had fig bread appetizer, then pork chop and scallop entrees. All utterly delicious. Unpretentious, but with a clear gourmet touch. Kudos!

Overpriced and underwhelmed. I think they are good for a burger and sandwiches but that is it

We had a pleasant experience at d'jeet. We were a large group (11) and the wait staff handled the group very well. Most people in our group were very satisfied with their meal (the chicken entree was a favorite). I had the duck breast and thought it was 'okay' (... therefore the 4 star rating). I would recommend the restaurant and look forward to trying it again.

The food here is excellent. The lighting during dinner is too bright. It makes it feel like a brunch place. I highly recommend turning off half the lights during dinner. It would feel more cozy and intimate.

Also, be sure to BYOB. We didn't know going into it.

Not enough of dinner options to order from. Prices are way to high for what you get. Portions are much smaller. I went last summer at least 3 times for lunch and 3 times for dinner. Lunch is good if you want a sandwich. But for dinner, it's not worth it at all! I brought 2 other couples with me and they couldn't believe the cost for what you got! They said they will never return, ugh!

Great meal! Seasonal foods. Both of us had the sea scallop special Saturday night. It was excellent. Crispy Calamari salad was also very good. Will definitely go back more often.

Food fine, service meh. As usual, the food was very interesting, tasty, and attractively presented. The service was slow and inattentive, not what we have come to expect here.

Always good, little overpriced but I keep going back. Goat cheese fritters were great but only get 5-6 and they were size of grapes. Gnocchi always great as is sauce. Wife gets Joey and always happy. Friends had pasta as well, everyone pleased. Solid place

Great food and service. Sadly, I arrived, saw they had no wine, had to drive to a liquor store, then come back. Worth the effort once, as I am not from NJ, but too much work if you aren't local.

Went here for an informal Mother's Day lunch. We were lucky to be able to sit outside since it was a beautiful day. Seating inside -- acoustics seem to be not so good as it was a bit loud. Also seemed to be a little bit more "hectic" than sitting outside. The service was great and very attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. We started off with the goat cheese fritters which were delightful, and then ordered the ricotta gnocchi and the pappardelle with lamb Ragu sauce. Both were absolutely delicious. We then shared the French bread breadpudding, a must have. Would certainly visit again.

I dine at djeet frequently and was extremely disappointed last night, having been looking forward to celebrating St Patrick's Day there. An abundance of young children were present and the only thing I can assume is they were perhaps related to the owner based on how they were permitted to behave. I have kids and I'm a tolerant person but I don't go out to dinner to have kids running around and screaming at each other, all around me to the point where we were forced to leave early. Not once did someone try to corral the group of at least ten children and remind them to sit or lower their voices or stop bothering the other diners. I would have been embarrassed and appalled if any of my children had ever behaved in that fashion. Djeet presents itself as a finer dining establishment but I felt like I was at Chucky Cheese.

We waited 35 minutes in between courses. We ordered 2 simple pasta dishes so it shouldn't have been long. A table next to us sat down after us & we're finished with 2 courses before our entrees came. The waitress wasn't very apologetic & offered us nothing for the long waiting . We left without ordering desert. Overall the food was very good but very disappointing service. Mistakes happen and maybe they lost our order; however they should have made up for it someway.
