Django Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Todays meal was less than stellar...good, nothing to really complain about but not the 'good' I have grown accustom too. Maybe their upcoming closing has buffered the relish with which the food is cooked...Service still excellent. See what happens in their new venue...
Food was bad. I've had better at Applebees. Very clear that the onion rings and frites were not fried to order. Limp and cold. Burger was not good. Have had better at fast food joints. No flavor and rather tough for a hamburger patty. Waitress was down right confrontational and rude. Lunch service took almost two hours. Unacceptable. Not a French restaurant. Average diner food with a few quasi French dishes thrown in. Don't go here.
Bottom line is that we love Django and are sad the restaurant will be looking for a new location. The staff was great and our food delicious. We were with some good friends for dinner and at no time did anyone try to push us along and move us out as did another restaurants we recently visited. We enjoyed our evening so much, that we made yet another dinner reservation to dine once more before they take their hiatus.
I love Django. Hope it doesn't stay closed for too long. It is my place to go for my bday. Usually waiter asks if celebrating something special but he didn't. He did for the people next to me and gave them a free dessert. So no bday dessert for the birthday girl. But that is minor and seriously not a bad thing.
I love your food. Love the atmosphere. Hoping you'll move to a great new location so I can continue to come to Django for my bday!!! Thanks for the memories
Everything was superb. We were seated immediately. Our server was Nathalie. She was very friendly, efficient and professional. She spoke Spanish, French and Italian, as well as English. I had the pork knuckle and the meat fell from the bone. My wife had the Hanger Steak and seems to always order it. It was New Years Eve so we celebrated with a bottle of champaign and a red wine. Of course, there is no corkage fees at Django. Not to worry, we used Uber to and from our dinner.
We went for New Year’s Eve, 2017 at 2pm. Our service was slow and the place wasn’t even half packed. We had to get up and find our server who was at the bar talking to other guests... other than that it was louder than expected in there which was fine, didn’t bother us. The food was absolutely amazing. Very good overall experience and we will go back.
This was to be a special night out for me and my 22 year old daughter. We were excited to eat a Django before attending the ballet at Hoyt Sherman. I made reservations for 5:00 but called to change the time to 5:15 because I thought 5:00 would be hard to make in a timely manner. The man on the other end of the line said that would be okay but they had another party coming in at 7:00 so we needed to know we couldn't linger. That was fine with me. However, from the moment we arrived, I got the impression we we were nothing more than just a huge imposition. The "host" seemed rushed and annoyed. I guess a smile was more than he could deliver. Our server was exceptionally rude and made me feel as though I was a huge bother. She was slow, unprofessional and snotty. I had the steak salad and it was actually pretty tasteless. Too bad because I love the ambience and my daughter thought it was a special night but even she commented on our waitress. Probably won't go back.
Our first visit to Django was outstanding. The food was excellent, the ambiance was cozy and comforting (especially since it was such a cold night), the service was friendly, and the value was high. I had a filet mignon that was one of the best I have had in a while - a perfect cut of meat, cooked to perfection. We tried a nice French wine that was very good and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back to Django!
This is typically my favorite restaurant which is why we went there for a birthday. Unfortunately the food for 2 of us came out moderately hot and the food this time around wasn't that spectacular. The waiter was amazing, however I was disappointed about the food overall this time.
Went here with a group of 10 of my girlfriends. They gave us a more private room in the center of the restaurant with our reservation. We had our own waitress, Natalie, who did an amazing job with us and made us feel very special on our girls night out. A perk with Django is that they have no corkage fee so feel free to bring as many bottles as you like. They also have a great wine list and cocktails! I would recommend the oysters and steak. Natalie was great with our order. We just ordered many appetizers, a cheese board, steak, oysters, and more. She split everything between the 10 of us and we all left happy!
Wow! We have been here before but they really hit the ball out of the park tonight. The food and service were both excellent. The duck duo was superb. Our waitress Kira was one of the most professional servers we have ever had in any restaurant anywhere. The prices are not cheap, but the lack of a corking fee for outside wine makes up for that. Well done, Django!
