Food and wine was a good value. My lamb shank was outstanding. Only negative was a special of the night, grouper , which was cooked perfectly, but under seasoned. Service was great.
A local favorite for 17 years. Always consistent food and service. Never disappoints.
Always lovely. Good food, good wine. Quiet conversation.
Divino is our "go to" Italian and the food and wine are always of a high standard. The wait staff are all friendly and very knowledgeable about the wine list. It is a really nice touch that when you are looking for a recommendation that you can sample 2-3 wines that they have as selections of the month. It makes a great meal even better when you can try a new wine and even a new varietal
Jeremiah did an outstanding job - as usual
Outstanding food, best pasta in town. Great service. Overall one of my favorite restaurants in Houston.
This is an awesome find. They have everything one could want for in an authentic, quaint Italian restaurant. Next time I will request the special seating, if it can be requested, and in the library.
the service was great and we enjoyed ourselves. They also accommodated our friend with nut allergies.
Not really Italian. Over sauced. Have lived in Italy. This place fluncked.
Service was something I would expect from a chain restaurant. Gentleman came over 10 minutes after being seated to pour water and found out that was the waiter. Wasn’t horrible, but far from good.
Very nice neighborhood locale, good atmosphere. Very good lamb chops. Chocolate Symphony dessert cake OK but very thin slice of cake and small portion. The two coffees ordered with the cake never came. As the dinner crowd increased we saw very little of our waiter. Ironically, we scheduled dinner the night before Valentine's Day because we thought service would be better than on Valentine's Day.
Always great. Roberto is a super waiter.
Excellent meal as always at Divino.
This is a nice neighborhood restaurant. Interesting Italian wines with reasonable prices.....
Lovely setting, great service, delicious meal
Always consistent, food service, value.
Superb Find !!!! Service was great. Food was Authentic. Prices were extremely reasonable for the quality and creativity. Great recommendations for REAL Italian food and wine. Well worth the 62 mile drive one way from home.
The lamb chops were excellent, and the parmesan crusted veal was quite good. Enjoyed the Caesar salad and the kitchen was glad to chop it up for us. My friend got a very nice chocolate cake for a birthday surprise at the end of our meal. The Pinot Noir was a great value at 20% off.
The service was outstanding!
They continue to be one of the best in Houston. Nice space. Large menu and typically 3 daily specials. Free parking and BYOB!
I love this restaurant! We tend to take our own wine even though they have good Italian wines to purchase. The food is always great and it is a nice, warm atmosphere.
Fish was over cooked. Lamb shank was good
Wine was pricey for the quality
Good service poor overall food quality
As always - excellent. Food, service, and pricing - great. You don't survive the restaurant scene in Houston for this long unless you are consistently good.
Very good atmosphere and food. Wait staff could have been a little more attentive, but it did not detract from the experience too much.
Food was very, very good.
Excellent as usual! Been here several times over the years and it remains as our favorite restaurant in this area.
Great food. Extremely good and unusual preparation of mozzarella caprese salad with roasted tomatoes. Pasta was very good. Italian wines by the glass were good and moderately priced. Will definitely come back.
There was a very large party in the wine room where the guests were VERY loud.
Our shared starter arrived in a timely manner but we waited much too long a time for our main course.
Our reservation was for 6 PM and besides the large party mentioned above, we were the only other diners upon arrival.
Our main course was served about 50 minutes after our being seated.
Adore the sumptuous food and the service tops that!
Divino is always excellent. The best of Italian food and wine in a great atmosphere.
1) Soup came out warm
2) Ravioli was subpar
3) Cold bread
Left a lot to be desired. Great location and layout, but unfortunately not the best Italian in Houston.
We always love dining at Divino's. Food is always delicious, starters are great - lots of interesting choices. Pasta dishes great but their fish specials are wonderful & 99% of the time that's my choice. Staff are super efficient & very friendly. Great dining experience from start to finish.
A very nice restaurant. The beef tenderloin was outstanding; the lamb was good, but not excellent. Mixed fried seafood delicious. Service attentive but not intrusive. This is the rare Houston restaurant that is quiet enough for genuine conversation.
We eat at Divino about once a week and are never disappointed.
Our second time to eat here and we were not disappointed. Had good friends visiting from California and they loved it and especially the friendly vibe and ambiance where you can have a conversation without having to raise your voice. Food was delicious and service excellent. We will be back again and again.
We are from out of town and were back for the sixth time because we love this place. Food and service are superb.
Such a warm and gracious gem in neighborhood!
Wonderful wine recommendation, delicious quail special!
Service was MUCH better on precious visits but it was nearly closing time when we arrived this time . Food, pasta especially, is "divine".
The menu has something for everyone. Fresh homemade pastas, and a well considered wine list are two of the many reasons to enjoy this delightful restaurant.
Our group of 8 was able to sit in the private room and have a wonderful gathering with no noise to contend with. The service and food were outstanding. Thank you, Divino.
Good and service was amazing !!
Nice quiet restaurant that shows attention to detail in a warm environment. Will definitely be back.
The staff was grrat, food was great, very quite in would recommend]]
