It was our wedding anniversary and we weren’t disappointed. Anthony was our server and he was awesome.
I had the lamb and my wife had the salmon. We ended up swapping because the lamb was so amazing, and my wife wanted it- haha!
The salmon wasn’t the best I’ve had, but the sauce on it was pretty good. All and all, we love the whole place and the food.

Nice night out with friends. Service was very good. Anthony was our server. He was attentive, knowledgeable and funny. I had the Bolognese and it was pretty good, reminded me more of my grandmother’s meat sauce then a bolognese. Others in my group had some of the specials and they loved their meals. The portions are generous and the prices are great. Next time I will try an entree or a special rather then then a pasta dish.

My wife and I met another couple there for dinner. I'll start off with the positives. Our waitress was great. She was put in a tough spot because a lot was going wrong and she did her best to correct it. I am a big fan of Fresco and one of the best dishes is their swordfish on the bone. This happened to be a special so I ordered it. It was fantastic. My wife ordered the filet mignon. That too was delicious. One of our friends ordered the pasta & scallop dish. She said the sauce was tasty but the scallops were terrible. She gave me one to try. I could not swallow it. It was the toughest scallop I've ever had. Three of the four of us tried one of these scallops and each one of us had to put the chewed scallop on our plate. They just couldn't be eaten and swallowed. What was more disappointing is that when we brought it to our servers attention, she was very apologetic and went right into the kitchen to let them know. The outcome was that they removed the cost of the scallops from our bill but charged us for the PASTA! Talk about taking a bad situation and making it worse, YIKES.

The bottom line, I like their food. Maybe it was an off night. I'm not too disappointed that the scallop dish was less than desirable, I'm more disappointed of how it was rectified.

Saturday night and the place bustled with activity. Server was courteous and tried to stay on top of what we needed at our table, but as the place filled we found that we had to wait longer to receive service.

There are many good Italian Restaurants in RI and every restaurant on Federal Hill is 1000 times better than this one. In Warwick, Bertucci's is WAY better (they use fresh tomatoes). Divine uses canned tomatoes with a rancid taste (think Papa Ginos Pizza). The service was fine. The food is worse than Olive Garden.

Our first time there, the service { our waitress } was friendly , caring, attentive. Our food was excellent. It came to the table extremely hot and a ample amount. I could not finish it all. I would highly pass along my experience with friends. Looking forward to a return meal soon.

I have not been to Divine in a few years and thought we would try it again. We were looking forward to going as we had recently went to Fresco and had a very good meal. And we were wondering what was in common or how they do things differently. Atmosphere is like I remembered - noisy and hectic. The bread and oil were delicious and then it went down from there and we were sorely disappointed with everything after. Their wine selection and service was extremely limited and disappointing. Both wines I had were off; one from being a terrible wine (Jack's House) to one being off due to being opened too long or a smelly glass (J. Lohr). The caesar salad was good, but could have used shaved parmigiano. I had to keep adding pepper to get flavor as the dressing lacked it. For my chicken parm, the pasta was almost mush as it was so overcooked and the chicken was tough. The sauce lacked flavor and even seemed to be orange in color - like a sauce that had milk or cream in it, or way too much cheese in it. I should have sent it back but the same issues occurred on my wife's chicken picatta - mushy pasta and chicken lacked flavor and was tough. The waitress, while nice, forgot to tell us about the specials, refill water when asked, get butter, and even forgot to bring the side dish of pasta for my wife. She even kept apologizing that she kept forgetting things. We were looking forward to the dessert: snowballs - fried dough covered with chocolate and whip cream. Barely could eat them as they were so overly cooked and almost solid. Not sure what is going on but this is a place I do not think I will return to. Basic italian food should be much better than this.

We were in town for a wedding and food DeVine via Open Table. It had excellent reviews already but we were beyond impressed with the quality of the food. The building is unassuming and really not impressive from the outside. From the inside, the restaurant is quant and very nicely decorated. The food was amazing. My parents who are foodies and hard to please but said it was one of the best meals they ever had. My mom and husband had the swordfish and said it was absolutely the best they have ever had. I had the mushroom ravioli that was delicious. Everything was amazing. Staff was friendly. Service was excellent and food amazing. Highly recommend!

Great food and service. We had two parties near us that were extremely loud which raised the noise level for the whole restaurant as each table competed with them to be heard. We found it very difficult to carry on a conversation. Not the restaurants fault at all but society at large has forgotten how to act in public. Loves the food, though and will definitely return (hoping for different diners).

Divine is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is outstanding. When it's just me & my husband, we enjoy sitting at the bar. Everyone is very friendly & the staff make us feel like regulars. We also enjoy sitting in the dining room when there are others joining us.
The dining room cold benefit from some softness t counteract thehard surfaces, which can make the room quite noisy.
I recommend this Restaurant to anyone who enjoys god food & a comfortable amosphere.

We love Divine. The food is always good. The place is small so make a reservation or you won't get in on a busy night. Chicken Milanese is my favorite but last time chicken parm was awesome!! Salads and desserts were very good too! Loved the Caesar Salad also! We will be back! 100%
