Nice volume and variety of beers on tap. Good food, by no means outstanding. Our waitress Christina made everything better. She was attentive, helpful, and took great care to ensure everything was 5*. We commented that or Hanger steak was dry, she immediately replaced it with a perfect one.
Fun slightly upscale pub style restaurant for after work casual with friends. Like a lot of places in midtown in leans toward begin very loud. Despite the extensive array of beers I found them to be disappointing.
This venue has an excellent beer selection, but we experienced some service issues and some challenges with the food. A number of the best beers we tried to order were sold out. The ambience is good but there are too many televisions, which can be distracting.
Great location for pre-Garden or per-theater dinner Excellent beverage choice.
Good experience, burgers were excellent. Service was good however 2 of the requested and recommended beers were out ...
Generic midtown american style restaurant with good beer selection. Food is very meh.
Atmosphere, service and wine were good. We did not enjoy the lamb meatballs but tacos were okay
Service varies widely by server. Food is ordinary pub food. Again, some servers put in the order more accurately than others. Good beer selection, heavy on the IPA.
Excellent service and delicious food. The pomegranate ginger wings and goat cheese croquettes are the best! Great beer and cider selection. Perfect stop before a show at MSG. We’ll be back!
Gorgeous food! Excellent value and great selection. Would definitely recommend!
The food was absolutely amazing. Like, melt-in-your-mouth good. They have a really incredible craft beer selection, too—both on tap and bottled. Definitely check it out, especially if you’re seeing a show in the area.
Great location...not far from MSG. Food was delicious. Service was excellent.
Fun atmosphere and good vibe. Excellent food and drinks!
Friday night 6 pm super noisy happy hour crowd.
Awesome customer service and great drinks. Cool ambiance.
Food was so bad. We got some small plates, and they were SMALL. Empanadas were burnt and wings were undercooked. Would not go back.
Date appetizers and duck fat fries were fantastic. The short rib parpadelle did not work with the feta cheese. Not a good combo. Great selection of beer. Would be even better if more were on tap.
amazing selection of microbrews and hard-to-find beers... all on tap. wine list isn't as extensive but was sufficient. food menu is unique. really enjoyed the spanish olives.
Burgers cooked perfectly. It was not busy when we went-lunch Sunday of Labor Day weekend. Everything was great. Will return.
So for well over a year this has been one of our go-to spots when we were looking for simple food and good drink options. They have some tasty small plates, a few that are vegetarian friendly, and a nice happy hour with reasonably priced beer selections to enjoy once happy hour was over. We hadn’t been in a while but returned this past weekend to find some negative changes had taken place. I am not sure exactly when this occurred but I am definitely not please and this will be influencing our choices going forward. First off let me start with the positives. The service here, especially the waiters at the tables is outstanding. Some of the best service you will find in NYC period. The face that this is on a said street in midtown makes it even more puzzling but it’s true. The goat cheese croquets are a MUST!. They are delicious, just do it.
Now onto the negatives. They have changed their happy hour to only being “at the bar”. I find this to be a cheap money grab. First off this is basically a bar with booths, this isn’t some restaurant trying to get you in the door with great drink prices hoping you will eat. Now you could say I am just as “cheap” for requiring a decent happy hour but I think it shows good will to regular local customers. Having a “Bar Only” happy hour means we want to get you in the door with decent drink prices but we are too cheap to actually offer you a legitimate special. It’s tacky, stop doing it. Secondly they halved their draft beer list. It used to be the full back of a menu, now it is only half of a page. Come On. 3rd they removed their vegetarian flatbread from the menu. They do change their food options a lot so this isn’t a huge deal just another insult to injury.
If you are in need of a place for grabbing a beer with a huge selection then I guess head over, if you want to have drinks and small plates while your enjoying the happy hour? Make sure you sit at the bar because this spot is too stingy to give you deals at the tables.
The downside of our visit was the table position, as were right under the Air con flow. We were frozen while leaving.
It ruined our experience. Food beer and service were great.
This is was our 3rd time at district tap house, we love coming with our family and friends and introducing new people to the place! We had a reservation for 6 but needed to change it to 8, when we called a few hours ahead they were able to accommodate us without a problem!
Decent pub food, nothing over the top!
The tapas were great!
Family in from out of town. One celebrating his 6th birthday
This place is AMAZING. A huge beer lost of truly fantastic beers. All the food is tapas style, but good portions. We've had the lamb shank, duck breast, ahi, brussel sprouts, burrata, and deviled eggs. All was wonderful.
It's very OK - food is decent, not special. It's a great place to get a pre-theatre reservaton. Staff works hard to make sure peole get in and out on time.
My husband and I went there for dinner the other night it was delicious food our waitress was very nice and came over to see how we are doing if you like tapas places this is the place for you it’s small plates to share over all it would recommend this lovely place
I met my kids for dinner. On line, the menu looked amazing. Very limited at the restaurant. We ordered appetizers of empanadas, risotto croquettes & duck fries. Fries were a descent portion & tasted good. Empanadas were tiny- like the size of half a lemon slice. Tasted good but only 2 were given. For $9 - expected more. The croquettes? Also tiny. The size of a small Cotton balls. Main dishes were flank steak, tomato soup & mac/cheese. The steak (and tiny from package onions rings) was the same portion as the mac&cheese. Tiny. When we asked the waiter why the portions were small, he mentions that all the plates are tapas. I asked why he didn't tell us when he gave us menus & he just shrugged. No mention of tapas on the menu either. Management tried to make things right by removing 3 items from the bill. But I shouldn't need to eat a pizza slice after going out to dinner. As you can imagine, we wont be going back.
Great price and pretty tasty food.
Went here with my wife and two children while on trip to Manhattan. They have a pretty decent drink menu, very nice server and bartender. Food is OK, but not one of our favorite meals that we had while in the city. I think the menu attempts to be a little too eclectic. For example, my daughter’s mac & cheese had a very funny aftertaste. Not sure what kind of cheese was used in it. I would Suggest the Deviled eggs. Definitely has more of a bar feel than a restaurant feel.
Great food and professional staff
Nice selection of small plates and entrees. Easy to get a reservation only a few hours in advance. Excellent frose!!
Fantastic place, very comfortable roomy booths and totally manageable noise level. The prices are extremely reasonable for such good food, especially for midtown. Our server Taylor was PERFECT, she was so lovely and personable and a joy to be served by. We will be back!
The place was really dark. The Brunch deal was good.
Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre repas. Les prix etait bien. Merci.

Great food and drink. Love the small plates as it’s easy to share and try a variety of things. Waitstaff is nice and accommodating have been here several times and have always had a good experience. Will continue to go back. Easy place to stop after or before a show or on the way back to Penn Station.
Great beer list and good service.
Had a fabulous pre-theatre dinner at District Tap House. As it is about a mile from the theatre district (located in the Garment District) it was easier to obtain a last minute reservation. My family LOVED the amazing beer selection. Plates are made to share and we choose 6 dishes and loved them all from the brussel sprouts with apples, burger, and duck fat fries. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful and food arrived very quickly. Highly recommend!
