Food was really dry and poor... across the board. Some of our party wasn't even able to finish their food. The buns on the slider were stale, the buffalo cauliflower wasn't cooked through, the gnocchi was flavorless, the yuca fries tasted like leftovers warmed up.

Lunch time is probably not the best time to go eat at this place. It is nearly empty but the service is extremely delayed. Waited half and hour for a burger and a salad.

We loved the vibe at District Social! The food and drinks were delicious too! Unfortunately we waited an hour for our meals to arrive! After 30 -40 minutes when we inquired about why it was taking so long, we were told that there was a problem with the computer and our order didn’t go through! But instead of putting a rush on it at that point, we were told we were behind another large order! (We were a party of 3!) Waitress was very apologetic and offered free drinks, but we were not interested in drinking more without food!! It was a late dinner already! I understand mistakes happen but they could have handled it differently! And the restaurant was not that crowded so we were perplexed about the delay. Anyway, I am not sure I’d go back.

Very lovely staff. We were there in the middle of the afternoon and therefore not crowded. The staff frequently checked in with our group to see if we needed anything, filled our water, etc. Drinks were great and small plates very good. We are already repeat customers to District Social. Location is also a great plus.

We were there quite early (4pm on a Friday) because we were eating before a show. Therefore, can't really comment on the noise level. The decor was really nice, upscale wallpaper, nice furniture and layout. Food was delicious, the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that the portions were on the smaller side. Service was great (friendly and attentive), but we were 3 of 15 guests that were there at this early time.

Was surprisingly quiet for a Friday evening, food was very good. We had the brussel sprouts and the flaming cauliflower to start, and the chicken and roasted broccoli for dinner. All the food was fabulous, and big portions.

Last minute change of plans with a large group is not easy to accommodate... District Social hit the ball out of the park in welcoming my group of 10, placing us in a private dining room. We had EXCELLENT service and equally delicious food. High Praise!

Excellent food. Very happy we went here! My wife and I eat here last night and we loved it! The setting is casual but classy. Fun crowd. Not too loud at all. We were both pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our time there. Will definitely go back soon!

Dinner was just OK. I’ve been coming here for years and this wasn’t the best of experiences. The food seemed off. Drinks were good, service was good, but the food has been much better in the past. Something appears to have changed in the kitchen. Not sure we’ll spend the money next time around.

Just a few blocks from Penn, it affords a nice open space with a classic dark wood decor. Lively bar scene and both bar and dining room are good for large gatherings. Food was tasty, not just standard fare pub grub either and prices were reasonable. Excellent blues bar (Stitch) right across the street to cap the night. Highly recommended

My friends and I shared several dishes: risotto balls, goat cheese balls, roasted mushroom flatbread, tomato cucumber salad, charred broccoli and brussels sprouts. The risotto balls had a nice lemon finish which we loved. On the other hand, the goat cheese balls ended with a sweet flavor. A great way to balance the richness of the cheese. Roasted mushroom flatbread was amazing! Savory mushrooms over a crispy crust, yum! The tomato cucumber salad was one of my favorite dishes. So fresh and light. Loved the crunch of the cucumbers and pomegranate. I will return for that one! Charred broccoli was tasty and the brussel sprouts were delicious. Love the added apple slices and pistachios.

It took over an hour to get food - when asked it was clear that all the staff attention including the kitchen was focused on a party of 17 in the rear of the restaurant. By the time our food was served 2 of my 3 children were in tears. Thereafter we had to rush eating what is usually really good food given we were going to be late for our next activity.

Delicious food, great drinks, awesome owners and service. The steak and octopus (not pictured), shrimp sandwich and Brussels sprouts were all excellent. The servers and owners were friendly and accommodating. A great happy hour and dinner spot in midtown.

Very attentive and nicely-paced service for a large group of 12 made for a really enjoyable experience at a lively spot. The spacious, quiet table at the back of the restaurant was a welcome surprise that allowed us to enjoy the buzz and, at the same time, engage in conversation. All of the appetizers and entrees hit the mark with the flatbreads a real hit. I will definitely return.
