Super accommodating as it turned out we had to leave earlier than expected. Food was great as were the drinks and we really appreciated our wait staff being helpful
Birthday dinner. Meal and service was very nice.
This restaurant turned out to be closed. You should remove.
Enjoy the special combos that let you select two sides with an entrée for $20. I had the grilled salmon with coleslaw and grilled vegetables. My friends all ordered the beef brisket which they all raved about. Can wait until our next visit.
Perfect hidden gem below the Sheraton Hotel for a romantic date or business dinner! First off, the staff at this restaurant couldn't have been any nicer! Really warm and welcoming. And the food is amazing! Definitely recommend the salmon and the brisket. Our server and the chef went above and beyond, working with me to make sure my meal was exactly what I wanted. Honestly one of the best meals and experiences I've had in a long time. Nice industrial chic ambiance with perfect soft lighting and comfortable leather seats and booths. Large portions for very reasonable prices.. I'm definitely coming back! (FYI, easy on-site parking for cars, but the parking structure height clearance is 6'2, so plan on a different parking structure or street parking if you have a large SUV. Or take the red line!)
Our waitress Virginia was THEE absolute best. On top of that the food was incredible. All around an amazing experience. I’ll definitely be returning.
The Mai Tai was undrinkabke!!
I then ordered a rum and Coke. It

Super convenient location underneath Sheraton hotel. Food was delicious. Quiet as it was New Years Day. Waitresses were extremely attentive and nice. We got there are the change from bfast to lunch and so there was a minor wait for food and she was very apologetic and compted our appetizer (totally didn't need to - wait was minor).
Good food but FANTASTIC cocktails.
Very nice and polite service. They really valued us as a customer. The food was delicious and the entire meal was really filling.
Service was slow took over an hour to get our meal. Drinks did come regularly only plus.
My experience was great the food was phenomenal and the service was excellent I had no problems whatsoever everything was great
Our server was very sweet and attentive to our needs. The food was good; typical options for a restaurant . The room was well designed. They turned pots into lights. Price is slightly lower for what is offered in Downtown LA. A great place for friends or big parties.
Food was delicious!
Horrible service. Drink was empty for over 30 minutes and only was asked if everything was okay at the beginning of the meal. Never received my sweet potato fries.
There was an office xmas party seated next to us. They were very loud. We could barely hear each other. Then, the waiter forgot about us. Food was okay.
Good value in a comfortable enviornment. Great for business meetings as well
I had been wanting to goto District for some time, but didnt have the right opportunity. So when it came to planning my mom's birthday just the other day - I thought I would take a chance. Im really glad I did. Both the bar area and the dining room are really well designed and spacious. Even when the restaurant filled in as dinner service progressed -it still felt like you had a private setting. The appetizers and mains were really delicious. If there was one bad note - some of the veggies in the sides were really kind of greasy. Service was prompt and diligent and friendly. Overall, super pleased with how everything went.
It was confusing and frustrating having to walk/fight through the crowd of noisy and drunk patrons of the bar just to get to the restaurant area. It took us awhile to figure out the restaurant was in the back and had to backtrack and walk around the sitting area.
We had our holiday company lunch here and were very pleased with our experience. First, without having to ask they put us (party of 13) in the private room which made our lunch special. The food was very good, nothing fancy but delicious. Everyone enjoyed themselves very much!
I met a friend here for lunch. Service was great! Because of the location, I recommend a reservation even for lunch. The food was decent, and the portion sizes were great and a the butchers special was a steal! Entree and sides for as little as $16.
I will definitely keep this place in mind for my DTLA lunches.
Good place. Seems more like a lunch dinner
Good service, delicious food!
Cool low key spot to eat before a movie at the Alamo. Great cocktails. Good food. Love the decor.
Great food and ambiance.
The service was exemplary… The food not so much… This is much better for a place if you have a group of people wanna have drinks for their birthday… But I wouldn’t go here just for dinner… Although the atmosphere is great… Again appetizers and it is perfect for a first date!
Great Thanksgiving dinner. Prefixe available but also menu options. Smells like woody fire when you walk in, which was sweet on a rainy night. Busy, but not loud! The space holds sound well. Food was great! I wasn’t in love with the desserts, but the starter and main were excellent. The service was decent; maybe a little overzealous, but friendly and helpful. Great coffee!
What a perfect Thanksgiving dinner!! The food... the staff... the Negroni!!! I started with cornbread and root vegetable salad. Followed by the Thanksgiving plate.... Turkey breast, stuffing, cranberry, green beans. Ended with bread pudding. Loved it!
Thanksgiving dinner was a pleasant and delicious experience for our family at the District. We lost a family member this summer and didn’t want to be home for sentimental reasons. The District offered a special Thanksgiving menu with vegan options which worked perfectly for my meat and plant eating combo family. The ambiance along with the staff made our evening comfortable. The food and drinks were excellent. (We were stuffed.). My husband said they had the best stuffing he’s ever eaten. It was a happy alternative to our traditional holiday.
Food and service were both excellent! Virginia was the best server. Took her time giving us detailed info on the best plates and honest recommendations. She even informed us ahead of time that kitchen was backed up and it would be a while. Very upfront about everything. We did wait a little longer than normal but no big deal. The chef sent out two beautiful and delicious desserts as a nice gesture (flourless chocolate cake and NY cheesecake). Salmon was great and cooked to perfection. Sticky ribs were a huge hit and the angry chicken sandwich! Cocktails were just so-so (Dark & Stormy and District Cosmo) but the food & service made up for it. Wished we had one in San Francisco!
Visiting LA for a concert. Went to dinner at District as it was on the way. Great dinner. Salmon was delicious. They comped dessert since it was our first time. Tatianna the mgr. was wonderful. Greg was our waiter. Very personable.
Great menu and fantastic bar! Good for groups or just a nice meal/happy hour
Super fun place but very small portions!
NICE STAFF AND GREAT FOOD. HAD THE SALMON AND BRISKET PLATES AND BOTH WERE DELICIOUS. THE CORNBREAD WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD! COOL DECOR AND LOCATION WAS EASY AND LOW KEY RELATIVE TO DTLA TRAFFIC AND CROWDS.
Went for a lunch with long time friends and wanted a place withy good food Andrea's quiet atmosphere so we could hear our conversation. Although the menu is small we enjoyed itching And the great service. We recommend the fake beef burger, grilled salmon, fish tacos. With each you get at least onesies side. Will definitely return.
Solid service and great food in a very good location. Prices a little high but it's Los Angeles.
Everything was delicious!
Great, relaxed way to celebrate with my boyfriend. Food was great; we ordered the brisket and salmon boards. The brisket was so tender on its own so it was a shame that there was so much sauce slathered onto it. Cocktails were great too, and affordable. Service was the right balance of checking in on us and letting us enjoy each other's company. We'd actually left with the intention of going to a really popular bar down the street but came back here instead because the experience was so much nicer.
