Great food. Service was slow but we enjoyed the experience. We were not rushed. Plenty of space
It was a perfect place to celebrate Valentine's Day! Nice ambiance, amazing food and friendly staff!
District has a very cool ambience in both the dining and bar areas. Looked like there was lots of ways accommodate large groups. Overall the food was pleasant but very average tasting. My main food disappointment was that the “whipped potatoes” tasted like they were made from a box instead of actual potatoes. The noise level was high due to a large group already seated in the dining area. Service was decent and everyone was friendly. We skipped on dessert after tasting our meals, and found something better down the street.
We were celebrating a retirement. Our server was impeccable as was the entire meal! We will definitely return.
Really enjoyed dinner at District with the girls. Our waitress Christina was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I ordered the Salmon with Macaroni and Mashed Potatoes. The Mac was absolute perfection and I probably could’ve had a couple more servings! The salmon was cooked perfectly and I cleaned my plate. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in LA.
Great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Fair prices for good amount of food, we must have come on a bad night because service was very slow! Friendly staff otherwise, we will be back.
Food, service, ambiance were great, noise level was OK though it might get a little noisy
at happy hour...willam
Fantastic time. Super reasonable prices. Great atmosphere.
I really enjoy coming here. Dine LA menu is really good and consistent for the last few times. Happy hours here is also good. Not too loud and perfect for meeting friends after work. Drink options are plenty.
Service was terrible, especially for it not being busy on a Saturday night. Spent over 2 hours for dinner. Server never asked us for refills on drinks or how food was. Foods were forgotten. Drinks we good but overpriced. Will not be back!
Great service! Thank you♥️
The food was ordinary, and okay. The service was attentive and responsive.
Food was wonderful for the DineLA price
Service was fine but food was underwhelming. Ambience was nice. Very spacious.
DineLA week menu was good with variety of choices. The included glass of wine and dessert were also good. Our son ordered off the regular menu and enjoyed his hamburger as well!
Nothing special. The food was bland and did not meet expectations.
Super accommodating as it turned out we had to leave earlier than expected. Food was great as were the drinks and we really appreciated our wait staff being helpful
We were celebrating a birthday with office co workers. When our food came out, all of the orders came out, except one. It took a really really long time. I felt so bad for that one person because it took so long. If we had waited for his to arrive, all our food would have been cold. His food should have been comped, but it wasn't. They comped two ice teas.
Birthday dinner. Meal and service was very nice.
This restaurant turned out to be closed. You should remove.
Great food and atmosphere
Enjoy the special combos that let you select two sides with an entrée for $20. I had the grilled salmon with coleslaw and grilled vegetables. My friends all ordered the beef brisket which they all raved about. Can wait until our next visit.
Perfect hidden gem below the Sheraton Hotel for a romantic date or business dinner! First off, the staff at this restaurant couldn't have been any nicer! Really warm and welcoming. And the food is amazing! Definitely recommend the salmon and the brisket. Our server and the chef went above and beyond, working with me to make sure my meal was exactly what I wanted. Honestly one of the best meals and experiences I've had in a long time. Nice industrial chic ambiance with perfect soft lighting and comfortable leather seats and booths. Large portions for very reasonable prices.. I'm definitely coming back! (FYI, easy on-site parking for cars, but the parking structure height clearance is 6'2, so plan on a different parking structure or street parking if you have a large SUV. Or take the red line!)
Our waitress Virginia was THEE absolute best. On top of that the food was incredible. All around an amazing experience. I’ll definitely be returning.
The Mai Tai was undrinkabke!!
I then ordered a rum and Coke. It
Hire a real bartender!
Super convenient location underneath Sheraton hotel. Food was delicious. Quiet as it was New Years Day. Waitresses were extremely attentive and nice. We got there are the change from bfast to lunch and so there was a minor wait for food and she was very apologetic and compted our appetizer (totally didn't need to - wait was minor).
Good food but FANTASTIC cocktails.
Very nice and polite service. They really valued us as a customer. The food was delicious and the entire meal was really filling.
Service was slow took over an hour to get our meal. Drinks did come regularly only plus.
My experience was great the food was phenomenal and the service was excellent I had no problems whatsoever everything was great
Our server was very sweet and attentive to our needs. The food was good; typical options for a restaurant . The room was well designed. They turned pots into lights. Price is slightly lower for what is offered in Downtown LA. A great place for friends or big parties.
Food was delicious!
Horrible service. Drink was empty for over 30 minutes and only was asked if everything was okay at the beginning of the meal. Never received my sweet potato fries.
There was an office xmas party seated next to us. They were very loud. We could barely hear each other. Then, the waiter forgot about us. Food was okay.
Good value in a comfortable enviornment. Great for business meetings as well
I had been wanting to goto District for some time, but didnt have the right opportunity. So when it came to planning my mom's birthday just the other day - I thought I would take a chance. Im really glad I did. Both the bar area and the dining room are really well designed and spacious. Even when the restaurant filled in as dinner service progressed -it still felt like you had a private setting. The appetizers and mains were really delicious. If there was one bad note - some of the veggies in the sides were really kind of greasy. Service was prompt and diligent and friendly. Overall, super pleased with how everything went.
It was confusing and frustrating having to walk/fight through the crowd of noisy and drunk patrons of the bar just to get to the restaurant area. It took us awhile to figure out the restaurant was in the back and had to backtrack and walk around the sitting area.
We had our holiday company lunch here and were very pleased with our experience. First, without having to ask they put us (party of 13) in the private room which made our lunch special. The food was very good, nothing fancy but delicious. Everyone enjoyed themselves very much!
I met a friend here for lunch. Service was great! Because of the location, I recommend a reservation even for lunch. The food was decent, and the portion sizes were great and a the butchers special was a steal! Entree and sides for as little as $16.
I will definitely keep this place in mind for my DTLA lunches.
Good place. Seems more like a lunch dinner
