District American Kitchen and Wine Bar
I always have a wonderful time when going to the District! The $9 lunch special is unbeatable and the food is incredible. I'm very glad to have access to this restuarant so easily on my lunch breaks.
We had a reservation and still had to wait in the line to get to the front desk which was people who did not have a reservation. Also, we had to wait over 45 minutes for entrees to be brought out.
A lovely lunch.....especially a value as all lunch items are $9.00 ...
Beautiful presentation ...
Nice server ...
We had a fabulous experience. The food was delicious, but was enhanced by the stellar service. Our server, Marcus, was attentive, friendly and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We will return to District when we are in town again.
Great food. They do not provide the buffet when the hotel is below a certain percentage of occupancy. This was not clear during the reservation, but should be added to online menu as an important detail for some making reservations.
Pre concert dinner
My goto spot for lunch with friends
Tremendous food and service. Very nice restaurant and the specials were quite a value.
Loved our server. At the end of the meal a small serving vessel filled with fresh cotton candy was presented. Bonus!
Friendly staff, manager assisting staff during busy times
Fresh ingredients. Wonderful halibut and ribeye entrees. Really enjoyed hummus starter.
We have dined here several times before. Each meal has been delicious and the service prompt and accommodated my food allergies.
Enjoyed the restaurant. An easy short walk from Symphony Hall!
A very good place to dine when going to a downtown Phoenix Theater. Reasonable in price, a good, tasty meal in a quiet atmosphere within walking distance.
Great place, great food
Wonderful place to dine. Great ambiance, food and everything we could have asked for.
We tried it for restaurant week and will definitely be back. The cotton candy alone is worth it.
This was my second visit to District American Kitchen. The first time I loved it--this visit was so-so. I ordered off the Arizona Restaurant Week Menu. The beet salad was good but not outstanding. The salmon was good though the risotto was really delicious. My chocolate dessert was beautifully presented (as was the salmon) and good but a bit too dense so not as yummy as I'd hoped. I won't cross it off my list yet for dining in downtown Phoenix.
Great service, prices were fair. Overall a very good experience.
Food was delicious and service fantastic! I will go again!
Parking free- they will validate your ticket!
Ryan is an outstanding server.
The food is perfection.
A gem not to be missed.
We always enjoy visiting the District American Kitchen. The food is great and the service is outstanding.
Good food but expensive for dinner. Not as inventive as the price would reflect.
We went here for the Mother’s Day brunch and I was more than pleasantly surprised by the food. It is a smaller brunch but I have to say that the overall quality of what you got was fantastic. We have been to some of the most expensive branches in the Phoenix metro and I have to say that we enjoyed this one just as much if not more than a few of those. The pastries were unbelievably good, which at most branches are a filler item, but these were some of the best pastries that I’ve had since moving from the New York City metro. Every single one of the desserts was amazing, literally every single one was better than the next. Normally at brunch is the pastries and desserts are more of an afterthought and you’re lucky to have one pastry that’s decent and one dessert that’s good. I was completely blown away at the quality of these items, and for the price that you paid for this brunch on a holiday, Talk about bang for your buck! The braised short rib was excellent, The fingerling potatoes were phenomenal, loved the asparagus risotto. And I have to say that the paper thin bacon was the best I’ve ever had at a brunch!! All in all I think this is a really great brunch and it can’t be beat for the price point. They even had a greeting card station outside of the main room for the kids to make cards or color pictures and make crafts. The only part of the brunch that wasn’t exceptional was our server wasn’t that attentive but I think it was just her because I interacted with servers that were in other sections and they were extremely nice and seemed to be very attentive to their tables. Overall I would highly recommend this brunch! You even got a three hour complimentary valet parking when having brunch there. We will definitely return!!
We love brunch at The District! The food is excellent, the staff professional, friendly and attentive. The deserts are off the charts and the flowers are a touch overlooked by so many other places. Thank YOU!
Mother’s Day Brunch was very nice! The desserts were outstanding!!!
The food and wine were excellent as was the wait staff
Yes, I would recommend the District American Kitchen and Wine Bar to my friends.
Although a bit pricey the dinner and service was excellent. One must keep in mind that most large cities will be more expensive for food and services. It is a great way to celebrate special occasions. The location
is excellent for attending downtown activities. The area is clean and well lit at night.
The Easter buffet was superior in quality, creativity, eye appeal, and service. I would definite go back again on special occasions when the cook and wait staff go all out to please and put on their best!
Phenomenal I love The District so friendly, nice & accommodating! Coming back for Mother's day again too! Food is over the top and details are always beautiful by the chefs & pastry chefs! Not 1 complaint at all! So appreciate the staff! Thanks Elizabeth
Easter Brunch - Buffet was plentiful and delicious. Dessert bar was amazing in variety, taste, and presentation.
Went for the Easter brunch and it was delicious!
$22 special menu is an exceptional value with a variety of 5-6 tasty entrees.
Short Rib Stroganoff - meat was not bad
but Rotelli it came was not a good idea. It was bland. Traditional Stroganoff noodles would have been much better. Don’t mess with a good thing. Our waitress Ida was excellent but food was below expectations.
Couldn’t eat my steak which was the most expensive item on menu, seating woman was a little rude when wife told her the restroom was out of toilet paper and was very dirty. Spent a lot of money for food that wasn’t even eatable very sad. Hopefully it was just a one time bad cook but definitely won’t be going back.
Waitress was great & enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere.
The food was average, prices not too terrible for downtown Phoenix. It did take a little while for drinks and food to come for 5 pm on a Saturday. Server was very nice.
Great atmosphere, great food a d the cotton candy at the end of our meal was a nice touch. Clever!💗
The restaurant is perfect for a pre-concert or event dinner. The ambiance is perfect, food delicious, and wait staff efficient but not intrusive. It was nice to have a relatively quiet place to dine without music or diner noise interfering.
