Sunday's Half Priced Bottles of Wine
Well prepared meals, quick service. Several Reasonable priced wines by the bottle. Very nice server, will return again, a great place for a pre-concert dinner. Excellent cocktails too!
Attending Mary Poppins at the Herberger Theatre.
Everything was wonderful.
The food at District is so delicious! My husband had the short rib and I had the cedar plank salmon! Just scrumptious! We love District!
Great food at great lunchtime prices!
I found this place while searching for a good firt date restaurant. The food was outstanding.
Short ribs were fantastic, spectacular desserts. Many gluten free options, definitely going back.
Service was very good. Overall food was good. Salmon was great. Duck was a but dry. The pork chops not very tender and juicy but had a good flavor.
Food was ok not great like some of the reviews. Was a party with 3 kids running around and the mother we having a good time enjoying the wine . Made it hard for us to talk . The waiter was good and he even made a comment when they lets the area.
Enjoyed the small plates and the wine!
Awesome experience, will be back soon!
We were celebrating my husband’s birthday. As a treat from the restaurant, he was given a desert of choice presented with a lit birthday candle.
Salmon is amazing!!!! Arugula and watermelon salad is so refreshing and yummy!!! Calamari is tender and so good!! And vanilla creme brûlée...OMG!!!
AZ restaurant week dinner. Great experience, can't wait to get back!
Went there for restaurant week and was pleasantly surprised. In the Sheraton Hotel.
We came for dinner before a Symphony event and because it was Restaurant Week (3 courses for $33). The quality of food and convenience downtown make that a great value. Food was excellent and our server Alexis did an outstanding job all the way around. The meal was well paced and comfortable. My only constructive feedback is to change up the Restaurant Week menu options. We have been there 3 times for Restaurant week and the menu has been basically the same. There have to be other dishes this place does really well. Overall, great experience and we will be back.
I took a break from the hectic Phoenix Comic Fest to have a quiet dinner at one of my favorite restaurants--The District. It was delightful, as always. I took advantage of the Restaurant Week Special. The three courses (squash soup, pork chops and chocolate cherry cheesecake) were unique, beautifully presented and delicious. The service is always excellent. You will be surprised by the cotton candy after-dinner treat!
Great place. It was our first time there and we will be back. Loved the wait staff and the food was fabulous.
Wonderful visit today. Had lunch, and had great food and great atmosphere. Will be back real soon!
I went with several ladies for Mother’s Day Brunch. The food and service were outstanding!
I've been taking my Mom & Daughter to your Mother's Day Brunch for 7 years now. It's always been wonderful!!
Only issue I had this year is our server did not come by very much to get our refills so we were always trying to flag someone down.
Late might dinner was excellent
My wife’s pork was overdone, usually a problem, but they offered to replace it immediately. My wife asked for salmon as the replacement and it arrived in about 2 minutes. Awesome customer service.
The Distric American Grill at the Sheraton is an excellent down town Phoenix spot for dinner, happy hour or cocktails before a concert or sports event. We were quite taken by the quality of food preparation. The staff was professional and comfortable in their knowledge. Give it a try.
We had a special occasion-not a big event, but a very “special” occasion & BOY! did they take care of us! Simple little touch that went a long way. Made our night s memorable moment.
Good value and food quality. They over cooked one of the meals and response time was long
A little disappointed the $9 lunch specials only begin at noon so we had to pay $5 more for 20 minutes so we could get on to our appointments. We sat in the bar this time instead of the restaurant which is less comfortable but a more fun vibe. The salads were delicious and the burger going by looked incredible. Would plan lunch after 12 next time.
Very disappointing visit. At a glance the venue and cuisine looked very promising. However, the reality did not live up to the promotion. Avoid the chicken fried meatloaf with mushroom gravy. Mine was burnt and the meatloaf had no flavor. My wife’s pork chop was equally disappointing, too many competing spices and little flavor. The dinning room is very noisy when busy, and had the charm of a cafeteria.
Great food and service. Nice large round tables for groups.
Repeat visit as we loved it do much the first time? This time was for a client breakfast. Excellent food and service!
Some how Open Table has me down for 7:30 but I made my reservation and had a confirmation for 8:30. They were able to accommodate me. Very nice of them to fit me in.
We had a wonderful experience overall. This was a client entertainment dinner and they each raved about the food. Thank you for an absolutely fantastic evening!!
The food was great, and the atmosphere perfect for my meeting.
Unfortunately, you were having a bad night with waitstaff, kitchen or management. Our dinners did not arrive simultaneously; we waited an unnecessarily long time for our entrees; the staff appeared stressed and rushed. Someone did come to our table, listened to our concerns and part of our meal was comped, but the evening left a bad taste in our mouth regarding whether we would return. Our regrets....
Food was very good as was the service. Waitress was upbeat and worked well with the full staff. Great access to the Herberger following dinner.
This was probably the worst meal I've had in recent memory. My chicken fried meatloaf was tasteless and presumably originally frozen. The vegetables were very salty. I couldn't bring myself to finish the meal. Service was okay. The DJ's music with the continuous backbeat for every song was distracting--and a bit hokey.
This restaurant has a lovely ambiance. The live music was fantastic. The calamari was very good, but over-salted. My simple green salad with balsamic vinaigrette for $6 was outstanding. But my husband’s $48 steak was terrible and my special (southwest chicken with potatoes, corn, and beans) was unappetizing. Although service was outstanding (thank you, Holly), the food overall was not good so we will not be returning.
Went for Easter Buffet Brunch. Food was average, but there was nothing special. It was just okay, but the real surprise was when the bill added an automatic 20% gratuity. If this had been a table of 6 or more, or, if there had been a full service menu with service, that would make better sense for a full 20%! However, it was a BUFFET. Waiter only cleared dishes and refilled drinks. No actual food SERVICE. On top of that there were only two people at our table, and online information had said nothing about mandatory 20%, (after tax), which was another $20 to bill. For what we spent we could have gone to a much more expensive BUFFET, and still left a nice Buffet tip for two people. We will not go back!
Easter Brunch! Excellent quality, wide variety, the desert / pastry bar was amazing! So stuffed 😎
