The food was great. I enjoyed everything. However, our service was pretty crappy. We felt completely invisible. Ran out of water and other drinks with no one coming back. They were aware we had somewhere to be but it was like they went in one ear and out the other.

Service at a restaurant flavors the entire meal. Any food will always be tainted if the accompanying wait staff is not up to the task and that was the case last night. To be fair, there were several events in the area, but the special event menu that was presented suggests that the restaurant was fully aware of that situation. But they didn't seem to be prepared. Edward was trying but not capable of pleasing everyone. The time between orders snd drinks and appetizers and entrees was constantly extreme. The forgotten glass if wine was sort of expected. The dirty dishes waiting to be cleared during those really long intermissions was disappointing. Was the food good? Probably, but the service was our only discussion as we departed.

Wait staff was friendly but not very knowledgable about the details of the menu, nor were the prepared to accommodate special dietary needs. Dishes on the specials meal menu were good and a solid value. The patio was lovely; the inside space was overly air conditioned.

A good Dinner and Theater find for couples. We were seated immediately and had a waiter that was attentive and responsive to our request.

The staff was VERY nice. Too much time to get our initial beverages. I think our server was over worked by larger party she had to serve as well. Bread was simple rolls but the butter was great. Food was good. We had a chair and booth combo. I'm 6'3" and sat in the chair and felt low to the table.

The very poor service took away from the delicious food. Unfortunate dining experience. Menu is great and offers good GF options.

This us our go-to restaurant prior to taking in a performance at symphony hall. There's always plenty of early seating and the menu never disappoints. This latest visit included the bacon wrapped, stuffed dates as the appetizer which were uniquely delicious. My wife had the salmon which was done perfectly and the accompanying risotto was perfectly creamy. I had the recently added pork loin which was also perfectly cooked. It had a red pepper coating which tasted great but I found the pepper pieces to be too large resulting in a burst of pepper flavor that overwhelmed the pork. Also, the walnuts that accompanied the baked apples were full halves and there weren't enough to go with each apple bite. I love apples and walnuts and want them to mingle together. Surprisingly, the executive chef came by to say hi and ask about our meals. I mentioned my nick picky issues and he genuinely listened and appreciated the honesty. The gratis pecan tart was wonderful, as was the ordered apple and gingersnap cheese cake. We'll obviously be back.

Terrible service, no words. They need to get it together because the food is good if it ever comes out and when it does, if it's what was ordered. At least the manager did try to make it right after two hours with complementary drinks and dessert.

Great food, but shockingly poor service and it was a birthday celebration with my wife. Waited 12 minutes before waiter even approached, another 13 to get our drinks and then only saw him once throughout the meal.

Did not get the standard cotton candy with our check even! Horrible experience for our first time going here. With plenty of other good venues in Phoenix I recommend trying other places.

Great for breakfast, friendly staff. Have gone for dinner and the service was very poor and unorganized but breakfast is excellent. Make sure you have a reservation for breakfast. There is not much else in the neighborhood.

Went for pretheater dinner. Service was ok; had to be reminded a number of times to bring requested items. Food just fair and not worth the price. Looks like a better place for a drink and appetizers than dinner.

Four of us decided to meet for dinner pre theatre. We have eaten at District many times and always enjoyed it. We met at six to allow us to enjoy a leisurely dinner. As always the food was very good. Two of has had tomato soup, one had Caesar salad and one the cauliflower leek soup. All were tasty. Two of us had the salmon and two of us had the pecan smoked chicken from the 22 menu. All of us enjoyed the new and improved dishes. Service was attentive and we enjoy the lovely ambiance!

We chose the restaurant based on OpenTable reviews which were pretty good. We did not realize the restaurant was in the Sheraton. We came to find out that it is nothing more than a hotel restaurant with a trendy name. The service was horrible and the food mediocre at best. I'm not sure what the other OpenTable people were thinking when they rated this restaurant so high.

I increased my reservation from 3 to 5 at the last minute, and they were very accommodating. Food was good, but the service was questionable. Appetizers & entrees were delivered simultaneously, & we were never offered dessert or coffee.

On the first night of restaurant week they ran out of one of their designated entrees by 7:30 pm. Unfortunately, the bread tasted institutional. The cream brûlée was more like a pudding than a custard. Rated as hotel food.
The stuffed dates were completely amazing though.

Excellent happy hour drinks with menu. Service was quite good, particularly bartender, Jeff, and our waitress, Alex. We split the chopped salad, and both decided on a salmon dish. We were very pleased with both in terms of presentation, portion and taste. We'll return when in the downtown area for dinner.

The special we had was a Carolina BBQ pork plate that included all the sides, and a nice glass of an IPA beer. The meal was very good and was a generous portion. The salmon dinner was very good as well. Great spot to grab dinner right by the Talking Stick Arena before a concert with friends!

The menu offers several choices on their $22 menu option. I've put up the pic of my $22 selection - a fairly plain piece of salmon on a mound of mashed potatoes (I substituted instead of risotto). No vegetables. Not even a sprig of parsley for color.

My friends all felt that their dishes, we all ordered something different, were very sweet, sauces had a lot of sugar or corn syrup.

Desserts were good. Service was good. Was nice to dine out in a quiet, comfortable atmosphere for a change.

The food was pretty good and very reasonably priced, although the service was very slow during the lunch hour and we had to keep getting them to expedite so we could get back to work on time. Not sure if this was an aberration or if it's always slow.
