Good food, awesome whiskey and bourbon choices, nicely maintained.
Restaurant was located in our hotel. The menu is not extensive, but the food was excellent. Wait staff was very friendly and attentive, and the restaurant has a sophisticated atmosphere.
Disappointed with beef tartare portion. It’s basically 4 teaspoons of beef tartare and marrow served on a bone for $19 and not even memorable. Outdoor patio is cool tho. Maybe skip the bites period
The waitress was nice, but inexperienced. She didn’t understand why we wondered why our appetizers came out at 3 different times. The food was okay, though the desserts were not good.
The ambiance is great for a date: low lighting & modern decor. The waitress was attentive & informative when we had questions regarding the menu. Would recommend & would go again.
Valentine night date , offered a nice ambiance with intimate setting. Really enjoyed the night
I made a reservation weeks in advance and when we arrived for our Valentines celebration dinner date the first thing the host says even before hello welcome is "we have another reservation at your table in 1 hour and 15 minutes, so you will need to be done by then" - What I am sorry I reserved this table and we are planing to have cocktails, starters, Entree and something after??? the table next to us was told the same thing - I can totally understand this statement if you arrive at a restaurant without a reservation but not when you have one. The Service was horrible - they brought everything out of order - entrees before the starters? had to fly the server down for drinks more than once - not a great experience.
Staff was very nice and food was excellent. Had the cauliflower, ribeye and burger and they were excellent. Tasty, but not overwhelming flavor. Portions are perfect. Burger is more of a petite portion, but comes with fries and with appetizers it’s perfect.
Dark the food was good the ambience was super average definitely not going back it wasn’t fun…
Go for the drinks- skip the bad food.
Viber and ambiance was wonderful. Caught happy hour where the drinks and food were a value and very yummy. Host and events manager were rude to me and guest on another party who kept leaving doors open that let out jarring lights upon my eyes consistently when we mentioned it. Could use some better customer service training. But our waitress was very nice.
Nice, quiet area of the restaurant. Good variety on the menu.
Great experience- sat in the courtyard by a fire pit, cocktails were great and the service was excellent.
Great service and beautiful ambiance. Craft cocktails are amazing!
Came here for our last dinner in San Fran. High prices for quality of food compared to what we’ve had. Wouldn’t recommend.
Great ambiance, good food, bad service. We were there as a 5-top. We did not see our server for the first 40 minutes. I ordered hot tea and he forgot it and it ended up taking almost 20 minutes to receive. Automatic 20% grat was added to 5-tops or bigger so I’m assuming his poor work ethic and apathy was due to his guaranteed good tip.
Dirty Habit has an awesome ambiance with awesome drinks to match! Even gourmet jello shots if you are feeling adventurous. The food was also on point. We got the little gem salad, oysters, the crab rice, and a dessert. Highly recommended!
Very limited menu, not worth the money they are asking for. Unless you sit out on the patio, you won’t see the city because this place has hardly any window. Don’t see what the hype is about?
Great: price & ambience. Loved rooftop deck area & interior also.
Not great: service (mixed reviews on this-our dinner server (female) wz great but her helpers seemed abrupt & not friendly at all. We also had breakfast & at 11am could not order a Bloody Mary or even a beer. Only mimosas. Loss of biz opp in my opinion. Lastly, menu wz extremely limited & then they ran out of a couple items. Need a few more options on menu. I had burger (small) & on a pretzel bun but I liked it & cauliflower app (also tasty).
We loved the drinks, ambiance, and snacks we ordered. :)
Nice creative dishes, the steak tartare with bone marrow was a very unique dish as was the lobster pappardelle. Also enjoyed some creative cocktails. Overall, a great meal.
Met a very good Friend at the Dirty Habit, I had been there a few times in years past, and remembered how good the food is. And this time was no exception, we both had very good food. Service was good and attentive. Our water glasses were never empty. The noise level definitely went up as the night went on, the next time, I will ask to sit in the first dining room, and not the bar area. All in all, very good!
Great food but beware, the menu changes daily so some items that we were very excited to try and were the reason we went we’re not there. Also! The charcuterie does not have cheese. Very odd to us that it’s only meat. So just make sure you’re aware
A very cool setting on the top floor of the hotel, with a cozy atmosphere and decent scenery. Tasty food and decent value.
Overpriced small plates. Loud and cold. Attentive service was the only plus.
Barely lukewarm soup, uncooked pasta, terrible service. Ate the lukewarm soup because our waitress never came by in the 1st 20 mins of us receiving our food to tell her. Food came out by other servers who had no idea who ordered what. Had to ask for spoons for our soup! And took 3 times asking to get our bill!! Will never go again!
The staff is nice but untrained. Two at the table and not sharing but the staff put in all the orders at the same time so second dish got cold before it could be started. Manager handled it well
It was hard to find because it's located inside a hotel. Due to work in the kitchen, the menu was limited. Service was good, everyone was nice. The waiter recommended another restaurant to check out, but that's in my other review.
Love this place however, when making the reservation and when confirming the reservation the day before, it would have been nice if they had mentioned their kitchen was closed for the weekend. We ended having only drinks and going somewhere else for dinner. Kinda a bummer but the drinks and appetizers we had were good.
What a wonderful experience. It was raining hard when we visited, so we did not get to experience the roof top ambiance...but the food was spot on and satisfying. Service was attentive without being in our face (perfect) and the staff was professional and friendly. We will be back.
Angel our server was excellent. We will definitely be coming back.
Not enough wine
I loved our server Luis!!! He made the experience 1000x better!!!
We have been here a bunch of time but tonight the our waiter was pretty inattentive and not terribly friendly. We had to remind the waiter we needed to order more food for example.
Service was really great, they were attentive but didn't hover or bother us. Food was good, and drinks were really yummy! A loud grp behind us made the beginning of the evening a little annoying but I don't blame y'all. In fact, your service made up for their obnoxious noise and constant bumping my chair.
Worst customer service I’ve ever had at a restaurant in SF. We left midway through dinner.
I'd definitely go back for drinks and a small nibble... probably not for dinner tho.
Interesting menu and well-executed. Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful service. For some reason though the air conditioning was set to Ice-Cold and on blast. Hard to enjoy a meal when you’re freezing
We had five dishes all of them excellent. The potstickers were the least interesting, yet very good. Chicken wings and octopus were great. The biggest downside is we rarely saw our waitress. We had to flag her down many times. But if you have the time or not in any kind of a rush I just want to chill, good place.
Went for dinner during vacation. Food was great as was service.
Is a “small plates” restaurant, which should be noted on website.
