Do not come here. The waiter was super rude and overcharged us and billed us anyway. I call them later to delete the wrong charges . She kicked us out early even though we were only there 2 hours. Open table said we would get 3.5
Hours for a group of 14* do not go here
Enjoyed restaurant week menu. Great service
We had reservations. We were very cold and they were not able to reseat us. Also I was disappointed with the small selections and small portions
Food was amazing, outside table lovely, ambiance inside and outdoors beautiful. Disappointing was the service of our waitress. She was unfriendly and border line rude. I can write a long story about our experience with her but just want to advice the restaurant manager to train this waitress in manners, courtesy, taking the time to advice on menus (there were two: a prix fix menu and their regular menu, which we weren't aware of), inform her of the difference between draft and tap beer and she should know what beers the restaurant offers, not just "a lot".
The food was good, but...the menu does not distinguish between appetizers and main courses. We ordered a pasta and a gnocchi dish thinking they were main courses, and the portions, particularly of the gnocchi, were infinitesimal, even though they were priced like main courses would be at other similar restaurants. We also ordered what we knew was an appetizer, and that was also eensy.
There were only three other dishes that might qualify as a main course, and no vegetarian options in that category, so if we had known that we would not have come, as one of us is a vegetarian. We wanted to order dessert since we were seriously hungry after that (ordering another dish would have taken forever, as the service was slow) but there were very few dessert options. We ended up having to go elsewhere to get dessert.
Very disappointing and overpriced . Went there for my birthday and left unhappy. We paid $300 for 3 people and we were still hungry at the end of it. We were charged $50 for a glass of champagne. The manager brought us the bill then took it away saying she had to take off an item , only to bring it back $50 extra.
Delicious beautiful food, quiet cozy outside patio, seemed quite overpriced for the amount of food (we came home and ate more after restaurant week 3-course dinner). Liked the 4 oz/8 oz option for wine pours (very precise pours from graduated beakers!).
It’s a great place to grab drinks and bring friends/dates to a secluded indoor garden vibe in the middle of the city.
The food was excellent. We love the decor, service and drinks. The duck was delicious and the lobster lumpia was really good too. I highly recommend eating here.
The server waited 10 mins before greeting us, despite walking by 5 times. Ordered a drink and we were not sure if wanted food, but she never came back to see if we wanted food. Took forever to checkout and she was rude
Great food and flavorful menu. Service was terrible forgot part of food order and had to ask for glass of wine when it did not show up with the other cocktail
The food was OK. The service was not very good at all. Where we were sat was not a very nice location and I thought that making a reservation through OpenTable it would be a better experience. However, it wasn’t.
Reservations were made before hand. We were seated at a unstable table. So we politely asked if we could moved to another table after 20-25 mins of waiting. Not the best service, waitress was all over the place. Not attentive and a lot of items on their menu were unavailable. We were actually told that they ran out of a lot of items.
Came here for a birthday celebration. We had a great time, the service and ambiance were outstanding. The food was also great, but everyone’s food was a bit cold when it came out. Thanks for a nice night, Dirty Habit!
Drinks bad, food bad, ambience bad, service bad. Would not recommend
Very nice ambience, fancy drinks, food not that exciting
Lovely evening. They nailed almost everything perfectly
The ambiance was wonderful and we had excellent service. However, for the price of the food, we were disappointed in the quality. My guest's pasta was very bland and was missing the advertised chanterelles. My ribeye was overdone (it was medium well when I asked for medium rare) - however, when I mentioned this to the waitress, I received another steak that was closer to my liking (albeit perhaps more rare than medium rare). Because of the food problem, we ran a little over our reservation, but our waitress was able to ensure we could get desserts. While I appreciated the gesture, they did not have the chocolate dessert that we had wanted and the dessert they did offer was dense and not really worth the extra wait. I would really only come back for the cocktails and ambiance.
Really just disappointed overall in the experience
The private room is so worth it. To be in a room with just you and your date, it creates such a intimate environment. Will come back for sure.
Delicious dinner. Great cocktails. Lovely outdoor patio. Bit expensive, but it is San Fran after all!
Great drinks, super cool spot. A little over priced for the quantity
All the food was really good, but you'll definitely pay up if you're wanting to leave full
Thank you Dirty Habit for hosting our team from Logitech
I especially want to thank your manager Cheriss? who worked with me to arrange our tables and we had a fantastic experience. I will definitely bring you more business in the future.
Was a nice experience. Food was tasty and the staff were friendly.
Great atmosphere. Fantastic drinks and food was delicious. Great rooftop spot in the city!
Amazing food & drinks. Limited food options but a large drink menu.
This is a nice scene for creative cocktails, but be prepared to wait. Food choices are limited in the number of menu items, overpriced and under sized for the value, however with that said, flavors exceeded expectations (burger, fries, venison, specifically). Service was understaffed on a Sunday considering a few open tables and low turnover.
We had a wonderful evening here, the cocktails & food were very good. The ambiance was fab, perfect for what we were looking for with an open air roof top setting. It’s really very nice, I would return & recommend for all ages- definitely a mix of ages. The staff was exceptional!
Great food! Great ambiance! Would recommend the mussels and the halibut.
Gabriela helped us, she was amazing food and drinks are very good, will be back for sure
Stayed at the hotel and thought it was going to be a small bar but instead we found such a gem with great food and drinks! Also enjoyed the live DJ music.
Ok to start with the positive. Dirty Habit is definitely a vibe and great atmosphere. My partner & I booked the experience dining option. When we arrived the hostess was lovely & guided us to our very own private dining room which was beautiful. We even had our own bathroom & we’re able to play our own music. This is was the only enjoyable part of our dining experience.
The service was something that was left to be desired, especially for the price point. When we were sat at our table we were promptly severed with water by the bus boy. We then waited 20mins for someone to come & take our drink order. We then had to 20- 30 mins for our dinks then had to wait 30mins in between each meal. On several occasions we had to walk out & find a server so we could order drinks & check on our meals.
The dining experience it comes with a pre fix menu for 75/pp. I was happy to pay this amount for good food although it was below average. I was disappointed that even though I had previously notified this establishment that I had fish & nut allergies, they were still included on an already limited menu. The food had beautiful presentation however the taste did not always match up. The appetizers were pretty good however the entree & dessert was left wanting. My partner & I both choose the dry aged rib eye as we were rather hungry at this point. Whilst nicely presented & good flavoring it does not come with any sides and even though the ribeye takes up the whole plate, half of it was just fat.
Overall I’m disappointed to say the least. I was looking forward to this dining experience. We made sure to get our check when we were served our last meal as we did not want to wait for our server any longer. Once we received the check they had the audacity to include a 20% tip with the option to add on to the tip! Are you joking me?! That was an insult in itself. I’m always happy to pay a tip but that is usually dependent upon the level of service.
All in all I would not recommend.
The cocktails, ambiance, and service were great. The food however was below average. There were only two vegetarian options (a plain grilled cauliflower, and chips) which were unmemorable. The previous menu was much more enjoyable, which cheese plates, truffle fries, etc. They need to up their game.
Reserved private experience and it was amazing!! All the food on pre fixed menu was delicious, cocktails and wines were full of flavor, and the private room was luxurious! Perfect way to celebrate a special birthday!
We were excited about this reservation for my wife’s birthday. We were escorted to private hotel room open door to traffic area to kitchen. Service is slow so earmark 3 hours, for an ok dining experience. We had the price fixe menu, pork buns, bruschetta and a piece of meat no sides for $150. Drinks are WAY over priced. They add Sf mandate fee tax and supplemental SF mandate fee 20% tip on all of it. Underwhelmed and just was not impressed for price. We are business owners suffering from pandemic impacts so we understand but we will not be back after this one! Good luck
Drinks were watered down and overpriced. Food was average.
We did the private room experience and considering that it was for a special occasion (my birthday), the experience was underwhelming. The private room is a good idea in theory, BUT the table decor (plate setting) and setting was very eh and then you realize that you’re in an actual hotel room with a table lol. It has so much potential to elevate the experience and it was a bummer that they ran out of a few dessert options from the regular menu. The portions were okay, some of the people in my party were still hungry and the cocktails that we had were really strong. I wouldn’t do the private dining again for a special occassion as it was underwhelming and even though they knew we were there for a special occasion, there wasn’t any kind of celebratory cupcake or anything, which would’ve been nice even if it had to be paid for.
Staff is unorganized. No one at the front. Host is missing. Food was overpriced but tasted good. Cocktails were good. Cute spot.
We enjoyed our time at Dirty Habit. The place and the ambience was nice. We had the pornstar martini and old fashioned and they were surprisingly good. The food was also tasty. The only weird thing was that the waitress kept telling us how much each plate was and how small the portions were even though we could see it in the menu. She mentioned it when we got the oysters and the caviar bao bun. The shishito peppers were so good!
