Terrible service in a nearly empty restaurant. Waitress Ruth was condescending towards my husband and I. We were overcharged and ended up having to go to the hostess to pay the bill. Beef ribs were pathetic in size but very good. Cheese plate was also only worth a few bucks. Refills of soft drinks not free! Just not worth the money.
The restaurant itself has cool design and ambiance. The only drawback in that regard was the the space is definitely tight and because it is on the fifth floor of the building of a hotel it has a different feel to it. Food was decent the only thing was the selection of food was limited. Overall good experience depending on your liking.
I really liked Dirty Habit. The host was very accommodating when we realized we no longer wanted to sit outside due to the chilly weather. She quickly moved us inside to a bar booth that was roomier than before. However, we didn't get menus or service for ~15 minutes which was disappointing. But the food made up for it - pork belly, chicken wings, brussels sprouts were divine. Definitely will be coming back.
I checked out the menu online and thought this would be good for a work lunch with lots of options and reasonable prices. Unfortunately, the lunch menu was incredibly limited, 2-3 appetizers, 2 salads and 2 sandwiches. Not a lot to choose from and most remarkably, there was no vegetarian option. Our vegetarian guest ended up eating the cheese appetizer. The service was slow and when we ordered lattes to get up to our $100 minimum, it took about 10 mins to get them. Extremely disappointed and embarrassed as the host.
We ordered appetizers and salads. We ordered everything at once as soon as the waiter came by. We should have asked to have the meal expedited as our promptness went unnoticed.
The appetizers came and were never cleared. The salads did not arrive within the hour. I paid the check on behalf of clients and did not get to eat my salad.
We enjoyed the ambiance and the food was prepared well, although the menu was limited and did not accurately reflect items that were on the menu online. The service, however, was awful. Our server was in such a rush to leave our table that she often left while I was mid sentence. Plates were slammed down on the table each time, glassware was shoved around and nothing was placed in a way that we could share the items, even though they are supposed to be sharing plates. Everyone just seemed very rushed and uninterested in speaking to us or even taking our order. At the end of the meal (approx 10pm) the server began setting all of the tables in the restaurant in a very frantic and loud manner, throwing plates and silverware down in apparent effort to leave ASAP. We didn’t feel comfortable ordering dessert because she seemed so aggressive and ready to leave. The service really took away from the experience and I left feeling agitated and annoyed, despite having an otherwise lovely meal.
Went to Dirty Habit for drinks. One of us ordered an old fashioned and didn’t recognize the drink. Other ordered a martini and sent it back because it was too heavy on vermouth. On another occasion I ordered a Black Russian and was served something with coke in it. Sent it back. Dirty Hanit doesn’t specialize in classic drinks. More of a hang out for young people.
I found this place online and decided to go here for my friends bachelorette party based on other reviews. The ambiance of the restaurant, inside and the outdoor patio, was warm and special feeling. Everyone was impressed and I was definitely happy I chose this as our spot for dinner, the tapas style food was perfect for a group and the drinks were incredible. I'd come here for a special date night or even with a big group, they seem to be very accommodating.
First, it was the hardest thing to make resv for my size party.
On open table it only allows you to make reservations online for 12 or less people.
So anything more you would have to call or email.
Tried for a few weeks and still nothing.
I only tried so hard because it worked with the plans I had after dinner.
Finally got through and told there was a min of $50 per person with groups 5 or more.
This place has so many rules.
Then they don't even let you know if you reached your min.
Guess they just want you to pay the diff with nothing in return.
So we asked, and the way the waitress and host handled it was embarrassing.
Then to top it off, they're closing gates and doors on us.
Rude people and don't care to give good customer service.
The food wasn't even that great, which made it worse.
NEVER GOING BACK!!!
As with any restaurant service, a lot depends on your particular Server. Aside from our Server being inattentive; she never recognized my food didn't arrived until I pointed it out to her; although she walked by our table at least 5 times. It may be each Server is assigned too many tables to offer appropriate food service.
