The service level was top notch. I had a few questions and needed some clarifications on the menu and our waiter was glad to be of help. I truly appreciate that because I dislike ordering without understanding what I am eating.
Terrible service, hotel atmosphere. Not going back.
Great drinks and setting. Food was a little disappointing.
Terrible service in a nearly empty restaurant. Waitress Ruth was condescending towards my husband and I. We were overcharged and ended up having to go to the hostess to pay the bill. Beef ribs were pathetic in size but very good. Cheese plate was also only worth a few bucks. Refills of soft drinks not free! Just not worth the money.
Thank you Mary (manager) for accommodating our group!
The restaurant itself has cool design and ambiance. The only drawback in that regard was the the space is definitely tight and because it is on the fifth floor of the building of a hotel it has a different feel to it. Food was decent the only thing was the selection of food was limited. Overall good experience depending on your liking.
Don't bother -because the waitstaff won't bother with you... it's so not worth it.
I really liked Dirty Habit. The host was very accommodating when we realized we no longer wanted to sit outside due to the chilly weather. She quickly moved us inside to a bar booth that was roomier than before. However, we didn't get menus or service for ~15 minutes which was disappointing. But the food made up for it - pork belly, chicken wings, brussels sprouts were divine. Definitely will be coming back.
It was ok. The seating was uncomfortable and we honestly just wanted to leave. The food was ok. Nothing special.
Great, per usual!
I checked out the menu online and thought this would be good for a work lunch with lots of options and reasonable prices. Unfortunately, the lunch menu was incredibly limited, 2-3 appetizers, 2 salads and 2 sandwiches. Not a lot to choose from and most remarkably, there was no vegetarian option. Our vegetarian guest ended up eating the cheese appetizer. The service was slow and when we ordered lattes to get up to our $100 minimum, it took about 10 mins to get them. Extremely disappointed and embarrassed as the host.
For 2 sandwiches, they charged nearly a $200 minimum without notice. Didn’t know about a minimum until we got the check.
Small cheese board, two salads, a bottle of water for $194 without tip. Indifferent service, so-so food...left feeling like I was taken advantage of.
We ordered appetizers and salads. We ordered everything at once as soon as the waiter came by. We should have asked to have the meal expedited as our promptness went unnoticed.
The appetizers came and were never cleared. The salads did not arrive within the hour. I paid the check on behalf of clients and did not get to eat my salad.
Great place for cocktails. Food very good and comes out very quick. Great place for a bunch of friends to connect for drinks and food.
The chanterelles over some type of grain (maybe risotto?) were excellent. The crab dumplings were pretty tasteless. Returning from the restroom, I saw a very inviting room with a nice fire. I would like to have been offered the option of sitting there.
Fun little place, it is on the 5th floor of the hotel.
Food was great, outdoor seating sweet but it seemed like our waitress wasn't into it. Bummer!
I recommend sitting outside. It is far better than inside in terms of ambience and overall experience. Very good selection of drinks, some old habits and some new! Food is good
Amazing per usual. This has become a fast favorite of mine in SF. The pork belly kimchi friend rice is superb, As is the burger. Also, the space is incredible, especially the outdoor patio/terrace seating. “Rooftop” eating is hard to come by in SF.
We enjoyed the ambiance and the food was prepared well, although the menu was limited and did not accurately reflect items that were on the menu online. The service, however, was awful. Our server was in such a rush to leave our table that she often left while I was mid sentence. Plates were slammed down on the table each time, glassware was shoved around and nothing was placed in a way that we could share the items, even though they are supposed to be sharing plates. Everyone just seemed very rushed and uninterested in speaking to us or even taking our order. At the end of the meal (approx 10pm) the server began setting all of the tables in the restaurant in a very frantic and loud manner, throwing plates and silverware down in apparent effort to leave ASAP. We didn’t feel comfortable ordering dessert because she seemed so aggressive and ready to leave. The service really took away from the experience and I left feeling agitated and annoyed, despite having an otherwise lovely meal.
Terrible experience. Both the food and service were so awful that we got up and left after the appetizers.
Waitress very accommodating and friendly. Usual loud hip hop / lounge music that passes for atmosphere in restaurants catering to young trendy types
Service was really not great, we were not attended to very often but I think that the waitress just had too many tables!
That and they forgot the birthday dessert that I ordered twice - once on the reservation and once at the hostess stand.
It was a good place but I would just go for drinks and apps. The entrees weren’t anything special.
Amazing place with delicious food. Perfect for group dinning, food sharing and loved the bowl cocktails!
We had to request a waiter when no one approached our table. The crab in the dumplings was not fresh. The other plates were okay. The challah was very good.
Went to Dirty Habit for drinks. One of us ordered an old fashioned and didn’t recognize the drink. Other ordered a martini and sent it back because it was too heavy on vermouth. On another occasion I ordered a Black Russian and was served something with coke in it. Sent it back. Dirty Hanit doesn’t specialize in classic drinks. More of a hang out for young people.
