An excellent dining experience. Each course of our 5 course dinner was very creative, savory, and delicious. The presentation was very artful. This was a unique dinner. The staff was very friendly and attentive and described each dish. The only thing I'd change is the music. Sometimes we felt it was too loud and cacophonous. The ambience was ok, nothing special. All in all we loved the food and will return. Also be careful because they ask to confirm, but we never got a call nor a voice mail, and they had cancelled us. Luckily we got a table, I think because we were there the earliest they open which is 5:30

Amazing food, service and ambiance. Very gracious, letting me sit to wait for date with refreshment, seating us early. Wonderful textures, flavors and pairings! I don't make any of this at home!

Went for my wife’s birthday. She’s a vegan with a gluten allergy. They prepared great dishes and took all the effort out of her trying to dissect the menu. The price really isn’t that bad considering gratuity is already included. And the service was awesome. Fast speedy and considered.

Dinner Menu has two options: Vegetable Patch (5 courses) or Vegetable Garden (9 courses). We had the Vegetable Patch and it was more than filling! Our tasting included: Korean fried broccoli with shanghai shoots, the fennel and mushroom plates, carrot sliders and broccoli dogs, Brussels sprout tacos, and for dessert we had the corn cake and one other option which included mangos and mango sorbet. Everything was super delicious especially the carrot sliders! The restaurant and staff were more than accommodating to our vegan diet and almond allergy. Would highly recommend coming here on an empty stomach!

Party of 4, had the 5-course tasting menu. If you are vegan make sure you ask for vegan -- many of the courses are vegetarian but can be adjusted for vegan diets. Aside from this, food was inventive and delicious with a killer dessert course to boot. Everyone left full and happy.

We are vegetarian and so wanted to try this place. It was very disappointing. Food is presented in a precious manner - and simply does not taste very good. High concept, very imaginative, but taste-wise, forget it.

We did the nine course tasting menu and felt like we had a full evening of fun and entertainment. Clearly this type of dining is not for everyone, but if you are willing to be surprised and amused by your food, you will have a fabulous time! We did the beverage pairings and the combinations really enhanced all the flavors. There is a lot of heart in this food.

I was nervous about taking my omnivore family members to Dirt Candy but they loved it and it opened their eyes to creative vegetarian food. The per person price sounded high at first, but we got several courses of unique and tasty food and it was totally worth it in the end. The carrot sliders and broccoli hot dogs were a hit as well as the desserts. Even my cocktail was fresh and organic and so tasty. I totally recommend this restaurant for a fun dining experience where they bring different courses of creative cuisine.

We did the 4 course tasting menu (there are only 2 options: 4 course or 8 course, no a la carte).

We didn’t realize that we had to do a tasting menu so we were a little hesitant but the price was only $58 so we went for it! It was amazing amazing amazing. Each dish was creative, playful, & delicious! The service was impeccable. We all left extremely satisfied and almost overstuffed. Highly recommend this place for herbivores as well as carnivores!!!!

Great for a date, special occasion, or a special dinner w a group of friends. Go!

My husband and I shared the Brussels Sprouts tacos. All the toppings were in ramikins, so we could add what we liked. They were served with lettuce leaves, not tortillas, so more of lettuce wraps, not really tacos.

But when I asked the server for three very basic things (lemon, salt and extra lettuce leaves) she assured us she'd bring them, but the only thing that showed up was the lemon and that was when I asked her twice. Maybe she was having an off day, but I expected better.

Def an experience of eclectic and unique vegetarian fare. Some items like the roasted bean wraps and the carrot slider were standout while other items missed the mark. Chocolate onion pie ugh

The tasting menu was plenty of food and the entirety of the many course took an obscene 2.5 hours to get through.

The place was very nice and service was excellent however this isn’t a foodie place for me but rather an experimental food journey with a few bumpy roads.

I’ve eaten here before and was excited to try the new menu. But I’m over experiential dining. When I go out to dinner, I want my food cooked, plated, and dressed. I don’t want to have to pick it off towers or grill it or open cardboard boxes to find it. If the food had been consistently impressive, maybe I could have forgiven the pretense. It also seemed to play havoc with the pace of the kitchen and the service - lots of sitting about waiting between courses, stretching out the delicious wines watching everyone else wait, too. Next time I’ll sit at the bar, enjoy the wines, and nibble on my favorites.

One of the best restaurant experiences of my life! Would highly recommend to anyone. The menu was inventive, creative, and delicious. It was a fun to look at and play with as it was to eat. The cocktails were delicious and vegetable inspired, and the wine list features women wine makers—something I’ve never seen in a restaurant.

I’ve frequented Dirt Candy over the past few years, but was disappointed to learn that they switched entirely to a 5 or 9 course tasting menu. The food was all very tasty, but not being able to order our favorite dishes is a deterrent. Would definitely do the 5 course if we come again; the 9 course option was too much food for 2 and took over 3 hours.

Had a great time. Servers were all very friendly and helpful. Food came out at a good pace. Very relaxing atmosphere. Also brought us complimentary champagne for our anniversary.

Main course, build your own brussel sprout tacos, was a bit underwhelming. It felt kind of lazy to bring out a platter half filled with uncooked or fairly off-the-shelf ingredients...it put too much weight on the infused guacamole and brussel sprouts. They couldn't carry the dish alone. but we were so full from the other great courses that it didn't really matter.

Would definitely still recommend and am curious about the 9 course offerings.

They're is a lot of hype about this place and it did not disappoint. The food was truly delicious and creative. The staff was very attentive, although I wish the explanations of the dishes- which were very extensive- were a bit slower so we could absorbed all of the information.

Absolutely delicious food, and true to its name - vegetables are the star of each dish in ways we had never experienced before. Even as a non-vegetarian I felt this was one of the best food experiences I’ve ever had. We had the basic tasting menu which was exceptional and we’re already talking about going back for their expanded seasonal menu. The service was also fantastic, the staff (including our server Tara) was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive.

It felt like there was more emphasis on how the food looked than tasted.
The first 3 courses were ok, I had better, one course was good, but far from blowing my mind or mouth, but the desserts were a disaster! I have never in my life not finished a desert, and these were 3 all together that were left hardly touched.
I get the fancy experience, but I feel like I payed for the experience and not for the food.

Amazing foodie haven. We had the "Vegetable Garden" 10+ course tasting menu and every bite was delicious. The restaurant seamlessly accommodated a gluten free guest and she was never made to feel like she was missing out. Highly recommend this delicious restaurant for a special occasion, although the prices are so reasonable you might be tempted to go more often!

Very disappointed in Dirt Candy ordered the Brussel Sprouts tacos for $28 which was just slightly burnt Brussel Sports and dips - not even a variety of vegetables. Sandwich bread was white Italian bread not very healthy. This restaurant is in limbo can’t decide if it is vegan or vegetarian; organic, healthy or just mainstream.
