Dio Deka Ratings and Reviews
Delicious food, impeccable service, lovely ambiance. Enjoyed patio dining and live jazz coming from inside. The food was top notch - I'll be back to try more menu items. The sakanagi was unbelievably delicious! I also enjoyed the branzino and husband loved the steak. Something tells me you can't go wrong here!
A 40th Wedding anniversary celebration. A party of 6. The restaurant was so thoughtful with small touches to acknowledge the event i.e. Writing Anniversary on the menu sheets and complimentary desert with Anniversary written in chocolate. Everyone enjoyed their choice of meal
Been here several times and we love this place. Food is outstanding, very flavorful and always perfectly cooked. The waiters are very accommodating and friendly. I ordered the pork chop which was fabulous, my friend ordered the lamb chop and husband ordered short rib moussaka. The short rib was so tender and melted in our mouths.
Ambiance is elegant but not stuffy and very inviting.
We celebrated our Anniversary here last night and it was a wonderful experience. The restaurant is located in the Hotel Los Gatos - and they have some wonderful outdoor seating areas. The service was just the right level of attentive without being too intrusive, the food was wonderfully prepared and when we were done with dinner a small Jazz ensemble was playing in the patio - very nice!
We had a great experience at Dio Deka. Darrin, our server, was excellent. Food was great. We loved everything...pita dips, octopus, village salad, branzino fish, pasta, lamp chops. Only issue is that Dio Deka is in need of an update. Chairs are chipped, it's very dark. Other than that, everything was great.
Dio Deka never disappoints! We were celebrating our anniversary. It was quiet enough to carry on a conversation. The food as always, was excellent. Love the little bites the chef sends between courses. Darren provided warm, friendly and exceptional service! Thanks for helping us celebrate!
Dio Deka offers "Fine Hellenic Dining" -- that is Greek food with a chef's special flair. From the amuse-bouche to the luscious dessert, every bite was exquisite and beautifully presented. Our server was knowledgable and attentive. Definitely a lovely venue for a special meal.
We always enjoy this place. It's lively with attentive service and very good food. I did feel the service was initially very rushed with all the appetizers brought at once and that crowded the table. We sat down at 8 so there was no one going to take our table so they could have paced the service better.
The Branzino and accompanying Greek wine were fabulous. The waiter was great. The octopus salad was a weak second to what we can get near Symphony Hall in SF. The noise level was Silicon Valley Loud and took away from any ambiance the interiors or fine food might have generated. Too many problems to merit five stars.
I am a regular customer at Dio Deka for several reasons. This is a fine dining restaurant where you feel like you are with family. I cannot say enough about the entire staff - honestly they are the best I've ever had. They all know us by name and they remember not only our food preferences, but conversations we've had. This is truly a place to enjoy great food, amazing staff, beautiful decor, and an experience you will not forget.
This place has never disappointed. I love this place for its vibe, friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere. This time we shared the SPANAKOTIRÒPITA, OCTOPUS, PORK RIBLETS and "HORIATIKI" (Greek salad) as starters but also love the SAGANÀKI. My favorite is the Branzino (white fish) as it never disappoints and they are accommodating to add extra veggies for me as I don't eat potatoes. The others had the Lamb Chops, another winner and the seafood pasta. I usually love the rib-eye steak but wasn't feeling the price this time. Desserts as always were amazing, and I've tried them all! My favorite is the Loukoumathes (beignets) but have to say the Yiaourti Greek Yogurt with actual Honeycomb is my new favorite as it was so yummy that night!
Service was attentive, friendly, and overall outstanding...thanks Rick!
I love Dio Deka and I continue to.... but...they seemed to have changed some of my "go-to" items. The rib recipe had changed and had no flavor. The octopus -- usually one of the dishes I talk about as one of their shining stars -- was delivered in a totally different way and was just "ok".
The fish dishes were lovely as was the steak, the desserts, and the wine suggested by our waiter.
We hadn't been to Dio Deka in awhile because we moved. Yet we had remembered what a great experience it was before. We were not disappointed when we went again. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The wait staff was cordial and professional. I recommend this restaurant for a fine dining experience. They do everything right.
We were looking for a restaurant to celebrate our eleventh year anniversary. Dio Deka was the first place that came to mind. My bone in ribeye steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Liz, our waitress was a delight and her service was impeccable. The musicians in the courtyard added to romantic ambiance.
