“memorable modern Greek cuisine" that “would make them jealous in Athens”, particularly when paired with an “extensive wine list” worthy of Dionysus; the five owners provide “over-the-top” service in the spirit of filoxenia (the art of hospitality) for what’s sure to be a "big fat Greek night" out. - Zagat

Best filet mignon in LG!! The Octopus appetizer is a must. I've had octopus at many restaurants around the world and no one makes it better than Dio Deka. Did I mention the lamb chops???
Everything was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious with the flavors layered and complex. The service was very good, and they hurried up our plates so we could make the theater afterward. Thank you, Dio Deka!!
Wonderful experience as always. Exceptional food and service!
Love this place ! Always great food.
Have been going to Dio Deka since they opened. Yummy yummy
The food and the service were impeccable, as usual. The wait staff and management are incredibly accommodating. The authentic Greek food is unparalleled, it’s actually a challenge to not fill up on so many great appetizer options. The ambience is both comfortable and elegant. One of the true treasures for a South Bay dining experience.
Always a gourmet and service delight. We love going here.
The food here was excellent as always. The assorted spreads are highly recommended. The lamb meatballs and spanakotiropita were good. The entrees were branzino (excellent) and lamb shank (pretty dry). I would have given a better rating but for two things:
First, 2 people came in and sat down behind us in sweats. They ordered two steaks and two glasses of wine, handed their credit card to the server when the steaks arrived then got up and left after spending all of 20 minutes here. I think they should have been seated in the bar, they seemed to be regulars from the way the staff treated them. It created a fast food atmosphere.
Second, there was a 3 or 4 percent surcharge on the bill with no explanation. They have been doing this more and more in San Francisco and their argument is that it helps cover health costs. I used to own a restaurant and this is really a pet peeve of mine. People do not like to be nickled and dimed, you should raise the prices and get rid of the surcharge.
Dio Deka, is a great restaurant. Food wise is excellent, service is good. The ambience is not exactly the best. Considering that the owner/ founders came from Evvia in Palo Alto do not expect the same environment. Dio Deka is subs nouveau rich kind of patrons scenario. However I like it and raccomend it!
Everything was exceptional. There was a large group in the bar that made it difficult to have a conversation, but the group clearly out, the noise level was more manageable
Food was delicious and service outstanding. Entrees were priced fairly even though expensive. Appetizers and sides seemed unnecessarily overpriced. Great ambience
Great quality of food. The waiter suggested the best items. We would definitely be back to try out more delicacies.
Dio Deka was an excellent experience. The cuisine and service were wonderful. The lamb dishes were especially well prepared. We really like the octopus. The portions are ample. Great service - attentive but not overbearing - not rushed. The desserts were good but not great. It was a little noisy as others have pointed out.
Expensive but will worth it. We'll come back.
always exceptional - consistently awesome!
Delicious food but a couple problems with temperatures on 2 if 3 entrees - MedRare was rare, half of fish entree raw-ish. Otherwise, great atmosphere, fun kitchen view tables, delicious food otherwise.
Tony is always our waiter when we go. He is an absolute pleasure and makes every experience more amazing!
It was our first time to dine in this restaurant. It is a nicely decorated restaurant with a cozy feel. Food was great. Ordered Octopus, Lamb Chops and Branzino. All were tasty. Service was good also. Would recommend to friends and families.
Get your other guests to be less noisy. Other than that it was perfect
Second time we went here and we were blown away by how wonderful everything was!
Always great food and service. Would like to see a change of menu. More seasonal
Amazing!!! In everyway! Thank you Mr. Vigo! for our fabulous seating by the fireplace. Service excellent & so friendly, Ambiance, comfortable, inviting, & classsy, food delicious! We will be back soon!!!
Great meal and OUTSTANDING service. I'll definately be back
Not my first time here but my first time on Valentine’s Day and they didn’t disappoint. Food amazing, ambiance fun, staff perfect.
It was a nice evening and very romantic for Valentines day dinner. Everybody was very friendly and the service was prompt and well timed with all four courses.
The food was very good. We had the charred octopus as an appetizer and that was great, but all dishes were good. Service was just OK, not great.
The decor is very nice, but the place was very loud and we had to lean in to each other to hear our own conversation.
Would recommend Dio Deka, but maybe during the week when it is not so packed and a little less noisy.
The noise level was high, the prices were even higher. I had fish on a bed of spinach and potatoes. The spinach and potato were very salty. The spinach was inedible because of the saltiness. I don't mind spending a lot on a meal if it is good but this was not good.
If looking for great food, Dio Deka is your place. Over 1400 wine varietal ...can't go wrong. Friendly staff, nice bar scene...
the restaurant is extremely loud and not recommended if you're trying to have a conversation.
the noise level is not very good. I wish there was a spot where is more quiet than other areas of the restaurant.
the alcohol pricing is way too much. not comparable to other restaurants.
Excellent Greek food. We were given a very nice, very private table by the fireplace. We've eaten a lot of Greek food and Dio Deka does things differently. Their mezas were small, but very intense and delicious. The octopus was a standout. The moussaka was made with beef instead of lamb, but still quite good. The retsina was as expected, a taste we've acquired.
Great food. Great service. Great experience. It was our wedding anniversary and we chose well
Excellent service and food. Will be back soon!
The best food in Los Gatos, great greek food. Lamb, fish all prepared beautifully. The staff very attentive
I went to Dio Deka three years ago and it was a solid experience. I just went there this past weekend and while the ambiance and the service is great...the food taste and quality was just so-so. This was a change from my previous visit three years ago and I have to say at the price point they charge now - it's not worth the drive or the experience. Sorry guys.
The service at the bar was great. The service at the table was even better. The Branzino was cooked perfectly. I had the Lamb Oso Bucco, very tender. I would have liked a little more gravy, but it was good.
Love there food. Service excellent.
Beautiful restaurant, delicious and flavorful food, wonderful service!
Food was good not great
We all ordered the lamb chops which were excellent. Service was also attentive and professional. However, the noise level has become unacceptable. We had requested seating in a quieter area but I don’t think there is one in this restaurant. Dio Deka has been a special occasion place for us for many years but we won’t be returning.
A wonderful dinner from start to finish. Every dish was delicious and the portions were all generous.
Service was outstanding, attention to detail, very good.
We have been to this wonderful restaurant several times and a
Ways excellent however it appears that prices have become sky high.
Not sure we will be back
