Dinner on Ludlow
It was amazing!!!!
I went here with a friend for food and drinks on a Saturday night. Drinks were not strong and food was just okay.
Great place for an after work get together.
Nice neighborhood restaurant, quiet and cozy while upstairs has more lively party people. Food was good as well!
So quiet on a Saturday at 8!! Sad place to go before going out despite being so close to bars
Good food, great service. Beware it's a mutli-level venue, so it gets crowded and noisy at some point.
Great service, food and drinks. Basically everything you are looking for. Would absolutely return!
Dinner with Friends. Truly a lovely time- had their Salmon- delicious- according to my friend the steak was on point as well- loved the fact it was a quiet night even though the rooftop was filled by guests for a private Afrobeats party. Will go back for sure
Love it would def return! Truffle fries awesome and the drinks were spectacular!!
it was just a rough time for me and my friends and i really wanted to eat dinner on the rooftop for my 21st birthday which was on the very day i ate there and they sat us on the first floor inside. ngl it a damper on my 21st.
Service was terrible. Waitress was obnoxious. Left before rooftop was accessible. Steer Clear of this place if you're looking for decent service, imo.
Limited amount of entrees 6 or8 not enough variety
Food was tasty
Service was great
Drinks are very good
Great dinner and great deal with pulsd.
Food was fantastic! Not crowded, underrated, beautiful place too.
I really love this place I’ve been coming here for years I totally recommend it.
Nobody was here, which was shocking because the food and drinks were outstanding.
Should be called Drinks on Delancy, not Dinner on Ludlow. Dinner is not a priority and they aren't on Ludlow! Food was slooow and cold upon arrival and entrees are appetizer sized.
Amazing dates, great wings, definitely order the signature cocktails it’s to die for!
Excellent service, food came out perfectly timed
Terrible service ! There is actually no service at all but they will charge you directly 20% of gratuity without giving you the choice and mentioning that it’s their policy. At least if the service was correct it would be fine but the service is less than decent. You can wait forever before to be served... it’s a shame because the food is good.
This was OK. My fiancé and I went on a Wednesday, and the place was empty. The service was super slow, especially because it was empty, but there was also only one server who doubled as a bartender. She was superrrrrr sweet and I almost felt bad for her because she was totally alone. The food was average at best. The jerk pork was over cooked and super salty. For a $100 dinner, there are definitely better places in the city/on that block to go to. Their drink menu was extensive and the cocktails were good.
Dinner was fantastic!
My partner had the Scottish salmon poke bowl starter and I had the steak tartare. We shared the shishito peppers side, and we both had the salmon main.
I had the La Paloma cocktail and my partner had the Cucumber Martini.
The food and drinks were fabulous and the service was excellent!
I purchased a $49 dinner for two voucher from Pulsd. Upon entering, the ambiance is absolutely stunning and gorgeous -- perfect for celebrating my anniversary. We were the only patrons in the dining area, while most visitors headed to the rooftop bar upstairs. It was a promising start, but things quickly took a turn with the service (or lack thereof) that we received. Our waiter stopped by, mumbled a "hey how are you guys", poured our water to less than half a cup, and went back behind the bar on his phone while dancing to the music and having a drink. We waited about 10 more minutes before he even took our order despite the fact that we were the ONLY customers there. After taking our order, for the next hour and a half of our meal, he never stopped by our table once. The bartender had to come over to take our additional drink orders and clean up our plates. This waiter continued to chat with other regulars at the bar, and made drinks for him and the greeter up front. In terms of the food, it was nothing spectacular or out of the ordinary. I ordered the Salmon Poke, which was decent -- the sauce was on the saltier side, and I have had better fish quality in local sushi restaurants. My partner ordered the Cornmeal Calamari, which was solid but again, nothing special. For our entrees, I ordered the tagliolini pasta -- while it was very fresh, it tasted almost flavorless aside from the bits of toasted almond mixed in. My partner's dish of Miso Salmon was a much better choice, as it was bursting with flavor. The drinks were unique and strong, and overall, a good value for our voucher. However, given the shoddy service, it did not make the experience very enjoyable for us. It is a shame because the venue is romantic and classy, and would be great for anniversaries if it weren't for the service.
The service was good and staff very friendly. I wouldn't recommend this place for dinner. It's more of a bar feel and the food tastes like it was premade... not fresh.
My experience started off pretty badly in the beginning I have to admit. However, they definitely made up for it throughout the night. When my part of 4 arrived, the hostess sat us in the corner at one of the lounge tables with the really really REALLY small table. The table could barely fit 3 drinks let alone food and there were plenty of regular dining tables that were vacant. About five minutes later, she comes by and moves us to one of the bigger regular dining table. The staff was very nice and pleasant, but the wait for our drinks/food took a bit of time.
Even though it started off rocky, I would definitley go back because the food was delicious! 2 people ordered salads and they were nice sized big portions and the calamari and poutine were out of this world! For dinner, we all got the salmon entree and it was the best we've ever tried!!! Beautiful crispy skin and the fish was perfectly moist. We were so happy that we almost ordered another round!
Cocktails were amazing, food was surprisingly good. Wonderful time...will def go back again 👍🏼👍🏼
I have been to the DL 100 times and never had dinner at Dinner on Ludlow. The food was amazing. I got the strip with peppercorn sauce and it melted in my mouth. Ambiance very sexy and I loved the seating. Made me want to sit and just talk and have drinks all day. Our server was great and attentive. Definitely going back soon.
Cocktails made very well. Limited dinner menu. Staff very accommodating.
Fantastic food!
Dinner is in a lounge setting. Seating is comfortable and staff is attentive. Overall a good experience.
After 15 min waiting at the entrance, nobody came to greet us despite having a reservation. Anyway, the restaurant is tiny and the food didn't look chummy at all. It's a no go for the restaurant, although the salsa club upstairs seemed good.
The service and drinks were really good but the food was pretty basic. For food, I had the miso glaze salmon and spinach which was decent but not worth the value of my puls'd deal. There were only 5 entree options and most of them looked pretty bland. For the drink, I had the Felicidad and it was great. The waiter was also pretty responsive and available during the meal, even though there was only 1 other duo eating there that night. Overall, I will continue to drinks and party here upstairs from time to time but it's out of the question for dinner. There are so many other great places to eat in this neighborhood, I wouldn't think twice about passing over the dining area here and heading straight upstairs to the club part.
I didn’t expect that foods are going to be so delicious. Appetizers, salad and main course were soo good. We went there Sunday for dinner , it was quite ( which was perfect for us) I like the chandeliers . There was only one waiter/bartender there , but he did his best to proivide good service. I would recommend this place .
Waaaay too noisy!! Can't hear anything over music booming and the music is terrible and inane. This place would get more people and better clientele if the dinner area wasn't soooo loud with terrible music.
The Food was outstanding and we had a romantic Valentins day at the Ludlow.
What an nice find, a little of the beaten path but well worth the trip. Food was outstanding, service was great . Very classy place
Went here with a GILT deal, with a girlfriend. It was a quiet week day night, we were one of 3 tables around 5:30p-6p. Our Server was Raj, very nice, we had a bottle of wine, one appetizer to share (we got the lamb ribs, very tasty but slightly salty for my taste), we both got the two fishes, (arctic char and the grilled sea bass served whole) and got the Brussel sprouts as our side. DELICIOUS!
Short ribs were delicious. And the drinks were perfect.
This place is a disaster. No complaints to the service and the food (very average), but we were seated right next to the stairs and there were about 300 people coming down on those stairs. Very VERY noise and distracting. Our experience was not good at all.
Would never go back.
Had a couple of glasses of wine; Napa cab and Rioja. Reasonable prices, but good picks. Tuna tartare with fried grain papers was a bit oily. Hamburger with grilled vegetables instead of fries was fairly good. Very interesting decor.
